Looking for the best Month 2 Advice
Hey All -
I am wondering what is the best advice you have recieved about month 2 of insanity?

Specifically, is there any difference in advice for Week 7, 8, and 9?

Also, when did YOU start seeing the most changes in your body? And also, were these changes as a result of you increasing your calories? Decreasing them?

After completing insanity, what advice do you wish you gave yourself for month 2? What changes would you have made if you could go back to month 2 and redo weeks 6-9.

I personally just completed Week 1 of Month 2 today, and I am wondering as a Coach but also as a person just like you, going through the insanity challenge

Thanks

Ignore your spouse when they say, "Can't you just do it tomorrow?"

There you go.

Still looking for more advice!

One peice that I have -
- Don't let the robots on the dvd intimidate you! Do you physical best - and the next day, do a little more. If today you completed the dvd at 20% intensity, tomorrow bring it to 25%. Inch by inch

I have done 3 rounds of Insanity this year, and am now doing a hybrid of Asylum/Insanity. The biggest thing is to just keep pushing play! You're going to have good days and bad days....but what matters is that you just keep doing it.

I saw small changes the entire program, but no weight loss until the 2nd month. And even then, it was only 5#, but 18 inches overall. So definately go by measurements and not the scale! I wasn't loosing any in month 1 and don't think I was eating enough either. Increased my cals and thats when I started losing. Definately followign the calculations in the diet guide.
Diet is definately a huge portion, and something that I am still struggling with emoticon

Here would be my advice:
1) Eat right, that means lots of healthy carbs - you'll need to have that energy stored. Of course don't forget your proteins and fats.
2) Pace yourself - the month two workouts are a little longer but really nothing you haven't seen before. They are basically modified versions of month one with an extra set or two thrown in.
3) Don't go "Insane" during the warm up. It's more intense than month one so save some energy.
4) Stay hydrated but sip not chug.
5) Make sure you pay attention to your form. Especially when jumping.
6) Max Cardio is a killer. Don't feel bad if you have to take breaks or have to slow down to recover.

As far as body changes, everyone is different.

Don't limit your calories. You don't want your body starving for nutrients. Use the tools and see where you should be at.

That's all I can think of right now.
