Calories while doing Insanity? (SO Hungry!)
I've had my calories at 1500 a day for a while now and lost 30 pounds. But I havnt lost any weight since october! I started Insanity Jan. 7th and finishing up the first month and havnt seen any results but I am also really hungry throughout the day, So for the past 2 days I upped my calories to 1800. I'm thinking of possible even going up to 1900-2000 like the book suggests for me for weightloss. It just seems like sooo much! but I am alot hungrier...

How many calories did you eat while doing Insanity? Do you think I will start seeing results if I up my calories to around 1800-2000?

Chances are you do need to eat more. Hunger is your body's way of telling you that. If you do eat more, just make sure the calories are from good healthy sources. Follow the nutrition guide and make sure your calculations are on point. It also says most people find themselves needing to eat more. Its okay.

I get this as well.. Only just started insanity (on day 5 today )
A little concerned I'm not going to loose the handles because my body isn't getting enough grub..

Think I'm gonna hit GNC tomorrow and buy some phd protein and another supplement (can't get your formulas over in the UK emoticon

There is some decent caloric burn with Insanity. I broke down and got a heart monitor in part to get a better understanding of how many calories I was burning. If you don't want to buy a monitor, I found that this site does an okay job approximating the calories burned (EverydayHealth). I am just finishing up week 3 and have lost just about 1 pound. That really stinks, but I've also lost an inch around the waist and body fat went from almost 29 to nearly 25. While I'd prefer to lose weight, for me (and everything I've read), muscle gain outweighs fat loss the first month or so. Keep pushing through and (hopefully) you will see a drop right at the end.
