Is Les Mills Pump worth the price?
I'm wanting to lose 15-20 lbs & maintain muscle as I lose. Is LMP right for me and worth the price? Also, what do you think about the Deluxe package?

I used Les Mills Pump for my first challenge and LOVED it! It may be my soul-mate program. I lost 22 lbs, 17 inches and 2 pant sizes. And of course, I built muscle too. Muscle that I can now see because before it was hidden by fat. I honestly think it's worth every penny, especially because you have the equipment for life. I wish I had purchased the deluxe, but it wasn't part of the challenge package. I definitely will be doing the program again this year and plan on purchasing the upgrade! The variety of workouts and music was great. I never got bored!Good luck! Hope that helps you decide.

I personally have not used Les Mills Pump but ive heard nothing but good things about it. If you feel it is a good fit for you and want to try it then do it! I dont think you will be disappointed in it! Also you dont need the Deluxe package but if you can afford it i always suggest the deluxe packages. They are a big help and make you that much more prepared for success!

I can say a quick blanket statement, every beachbody program is worth the price. I have done several of them and have never been disappointed. As a matter of fact I have lost 121 lbs, 16 inches off my waist, and one the December Beachbody Challenge. Take a look at the voting link on the home page I am Justin B. I don't just look at the price of the program, I look at what is saved me on doctor bills and medical pills I would have been on in the future if I had not found Beachbody. Don't forget all the programs have a money back policy so there really is no risk in trying it out.

If you like weight lifting, then you will love Pump.

I waited for almost a year for the same reason - not sure it was worth the price. Now, I am kicking myself for not starting it sooner. I love love love this program!

The schedule for Pump is a little different than other beachbody programs because it gives you more options. You only have to use the weightlifting dvds 3-4x a week (the basic package). The other days are cardio days. So, whatever cardio you want to do on those days will work. For beginners, it's going for a walk. If you are a runner, then running. If you have the deluxe package, then pick one of the Pump cardio dvds for those days.

As far as the deluxe package, I have it and love it. However, if you are a runner or have other cardio dvds you like from other programs, then the deluxe package might not be necessary for you. There is a step workout - really good lower body, a combat workout - kickboxing and you can use it as a preview to the combat beachbody program, and a sport attack workout - interval cardio moves that mimic sports' moves.

I purchased LMP and liked the workouts. Working the full body in one workout is great and I was always dripping sweat when I was done. I say if you can afford it, then get the deluxe package. LMP is 3 days of weights and the schedule calls for "walking" on non weight days, so the deluxe package would give you a challenging cardio routine on those days.

With that said, I feel there is one drawback to the program. I had completed several Beachbody workouts over the years and felt like the first 4 weeks or so of LMP were meant as an introductory period. This would have been great for somenoe new to working out because it would give them a chance to grow with the program and progress to the harder workouts. I feel that for someone already in decent shape this part of the program would not be too challenging. I personally skipped a few weeks so I could jump to the harder workouts.
