Hi all! My name is Stephanie--I am 38, a mom to two gorgeous little girls, and a devoted wife. My husband and I are also Beachbody coaches, and have been such for a few years now. We love living a healthy lifestyle/working out/eating clean.
The day before Thanksgiving 2012, we found out that I had breastcancer in my left breast. One area was non-invasive, the other WAS invasive. On 12/28/12, I underwent a double masectomy and a lymph node removal (on my left side). Recovery has been...well, a pain in the butt, to say the least. I have gone from 19-25% body fat, and lost 7lbs of muscle--bleh!!
Right now, I have tissue expanders in my chest, placed under my pecs, in preparation for breast reconstruction. I started working out again last week, but understandably, i have to be careful. I'm a hardcore HIIT girl--this 'taking it easy' is killing me, but i'm being good and taking it easy.
Is there anyone else out there that has gone through this? IS going through this? I'd love to share inspiration with anyone out there!

Steph
