3400 Calorie BodyBeast Diet

So I am going to be starting body beast in 30 days (when my round of p90x is done). I did the math at what I am at currently and even at 10 lbs lower then what I am and the Body Beast formula adds up to me needing 3400 calories for the build/bulk phases. I am also on a budget and have figured this out.

I Can eat the:
Monster Oatmeal: 500 cal
Sagi Protein Salad: 501 cal
Tuna Salad Sand which: 437 cal
Post workout shake: 220 cal

Now that's only 1658 cal total.

I also have to stay within this range:
Starches: 8
Legumes: 4
Vegetables: 8
Fruits: 10
Proteins: 17
Fats:8

Just after that amount of food i already broke the 8 fat and already at 7 starch. Almost no vegetables and 1 or 2 fruits depending on what I put in the Post workout shake.

So my question is how in the heck do I keep within that range of food and still get to freken 3400 calories. Dunno if there is a better way to make the mass-o-matic shakes or what but I need some help trying to figure this out. I would like my eating to be pretty much the same everyday to save money and time in making the meals also. So please somebody help me figure this out its driving me nuts.

That why i hate the portion approach instead of the calories and macros. I use myfitnesspal and it way easier to keep track.

Thanks for the tip just wondering what the heck should i be eating to get those last 1000 calories. Only thing I could really think of was either drink a bunch of apple juice and chocolate milk or break the 8 fats by a lot to get the fruit and stuff in. Does anyone have like a sample meal plan for this or anything. Will check out the myfitnesspal though.

I have completed 2 rounds of Body Beast, using My Fitness Pal made the nutrition so much simpler, everyone I work with uses it too. After a week of planning your meals you will know exactly what fits your calorie and macro numbers

Depends what macros you need, but almonds/nuts, natural peanut butter/almond butter, protein powder, milk, rice, beans, etc can add up calories quickly. Like the book of beast mentions, you might want to look at more liquids to help get the calories, especially since your number is up there.

When I was looking for 3500 calories per day I would have at least 2 shakes per day and I was adding a 2-3 scoops of Mass Builder to each shake, these were approx 200 calories per scoop. Maintaining your macros is tough and you have to be very disciplined to get them just right. I won't use the portion method I just run it all through MFP. Also there is a barcode scan button in the app that you can use for anything not already in the database
