Hi everyone! I have a question for anyone who may have experienced this or who can offer some guidance?
I purchased Insanity and I just finished week 2. On Monday I will be starting week 3. Here's my concern. I gave both weeks 100% effort, so much so that the first week I couldn't sit down I was so sore lol. I have followed through with all workouts each day and though I do feel clearly stronger (muscle strength), I have yet to see any droppage in weight in the mirror. I have been sore (some days worse than others) every single day in different parts of my body since I started so I must be doing something right?
Now I do have to say, I normally wouldn't expect anything drastic or even noticable in two weeks, but from seeing so many other peoples photos, I think I'm doing something wrong. They show a starting photo, and by the second week there's certainly results. I don't see that with myself.
I am so discouraged I could cry. I'm not going to stop or anything but with all the effort I am putting in my diet and the workouts it's discouraging that I am not getting results like other people. Everyone's different, sure, but so many people are seeing results even after two weeks. So, I'm thinking it's my diet...let me know if anyone sees a problem in the following diet I consume:
breakfast- small cup of coffee with a small amount of powder cream and a spoon of sugar. Plus a bannana
mid-afternoon- 1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese with a table spoon jam, and one piece of turkey bacon. 1 cup veggies
afternoon- sandwich (whole grain bread, no mayo, no cheese) with 2 slices deli meat, lettuce, mustard. 4 strawberries, or a small piece of fruit.
mid evening- 1 cup turkey chili, 1/2 cup fruit
evening- 3 oz chicken (cooked without butter or oil)- consumed plain, with 1/4 cup potatoes, 1/2 cup veggies.
I have also replaced evening meal with stir fry (cooked without butter or oil) with veggies and 3 oz. beef strips and a little terriyaki soy sauce.
I mean thats pretty much what I've been eating. I don't get it
