p90x round 3 with some modifications starting mid febuary

Quick Introduction I've done P90x twice before, Insanity Once, Asylum 1 and 2, P90x2, currently doing Les Mills Combat.. I finish the combat ultimate warrior schedule on thursday the 14th

I'll be following the P90x general schedule but with some modifications. For Phase 1 Plyo will be replaced with Vertical Plyo and Relief from Asylum Volume 1..Throughout the 90 days will be swapping out P90x Yoga for P90x2 yoga..Kenpo for Combat 45 in phase 1...During the recovery weeks that kenpo will be swapped for probably Kick start 30 or Combat live 30..

Phases 2
chest, shoulders and triceps swapped for upper elite(and ab shredder) from volume 2..Plyo for Power Legs

legs and back for base and back(p90x2)Kenpo for Combat 60

phase 3..basically following suit but kenpo altenrating with combat 60, Speed and Agility and X-trainer..

Did live 60 combat yesterday and it wasn't that bad outside of the ab portion. I got a tetanus shot at the doctor yesterday which has absolutely deadend my arm and shoulder. It feels like its been dragging it behind all day. During combat 60 yesterday I felt my form and intensity was defintely compromised due the result of the shot. I just got home from work and I was scheduled to do Power Hit 1 and Inner Warrior stretch for the 58th day of combat but I just can't do it. Will take a rest day and see how it feels tomorrow because I can always double it with Combat 45 since I don't work on Wednesday.

had to take another day off today from combat since my arm and neck are now hurting from the tetanus shot. But its at least starting to feel better. I tried doing a pushup and my left arm just wasn't cooperating. I'm starting to workout again on Friday with Chest and Back and abs so this better be normal by then. Can't wait two months from today we'll be working out with shaun t himself in ct..can't wait

just finished chest and back and I could from the very first group of exercises my strength was not at the level it was when i did this routine back in mid december. Since I'd have been previously doing the past 60 days of Les Mills Combat. Though its a fun routine it just lacked the muscle blasting that P90x has. Total pushups 388. I somehow got stronger as routine went a long in the pushup department. I've always been great at pushups while the pullups in this routine always smoke me. Total pullups a very disappointing 50emoticon Goal for next week 400 pushups 55 pullups. I figured I could do a few more pushups in every set and goal of 1 more pullup in every set. Instead of doing ARX today after chest and back I threw in Cardio Abs from Insanity. I haven't done that routine in at least a year. I forgot how it has. I've got a million different ab routines so after every strength routine I'll just be doing whatever ab routine I feel like. Since ARX gets boring after a while. Just finished my results and recovery formula. Left arm still feels a bit funny from that horrible tetanus shot. Tomorrow is another day and its going to be brutal one in Vertical Plyo from Asylum...That warmup always is the hardest part along with the single leg power jumps.

Did vertical plyo from Asylum volume 1 yesterday. The warmup was still as tough as I remember it being. I felt really strong though after the warmup got me going. The worst about my workout yesterday was my green power band broke on me again(for the 2nd time going to call customer service in a second to get another one) during the split squad back fly sequence. I felt really good during the plyo pushups and x-jumps. The hardest part for me is the decoy split jumps my mind just doesn't click with that move. Its always been a struggle for me. My chest was really sore from all the pushups but during the pushup sequence in VP it wasn't bad all. The single leg power jumps ALWAYS smoke me at the end but the resistance band power jumps and stance jacks seemed "easier" then normal. The end of this routine is killer with the lateral leaps across the ladder. He brings this move back at the end of X-Trainer in Asylum Volume 2. But the difference in X-trainer is you start with 2 boxes and every 30 seconds you add another box. By the end its just like UGH. Today is the glamour routine Shoulders and Arms and will probably do ARX today but we'll see.

Just finished shoulders and arms and arx about 5 minutes ago. For not doing this routine in a while i was pleasantly surprised that my strength was about where it was from last time. For a few moves in each round I went to light so come go around on those moves I upped the weights. I feel my biceps are as strong as they were last time doing this routine but shoulders are not. Will be focusing really hard in the next couple weeks on the shoulder section trying to get a great pump. I still really hate the flip grip twisting tricep kickbacks. I think i dislike them so much because I use the bowflex selecttechs 552s and they are bulky for a few moves. I was quite happy with the side-tri rises being able to do 30 per side each round. So will give me something to shoot for next week for improvement. Tomorrow is Yoga. Might do Yoga X or Yoga X2 or Fountain of Youth. Depending on time I want to dedicate to it since we have someone coming over for an appraisal of condo by a local realtor since we want to sell it.

Just finished Yoga X2. Woke up and my shoulders and triceps were a bit sore. Means I did something right yesterday ha. This wasn't as a bad as I remember it being. I still need some work during the standing series with half moon to reverse half moon etc. I wasn't as bad as when i first started doing Yoga almost 2 years ago. I was wreck then ha. Tomorrow is Legs and Back with abs. Will figure out what ab routine to do tomorrow I got a million different ones to choose from. ARX gets old. In the 2nd month I'll be swapping out Vertical Plyo from Volume 1 for Power Legs from Volume 2, Legs and back for Base and Back from P90x2, and chest shoulders and tris for Upper Elite from Asylum Volume 2. I feel that is a workout that is more of challenge then chest, shoulders and triceps. Will be taking starting to be taking some Whey Protein starting in the next week or so once I run out of Results and Recovery formula since its cheaper. Getting the Body Fortress brand at walmart(yuck i know i hate that place 2 but its way cheap there).

did legs and back on the 2/19 and my pullups were much better this go around then during chest and back. My pullups went 12, 12, 10, 12,11,9,8,9 so I'm very happy with how I did. The leg portion of it i need to bring up the intensity but going heavier on the weights. Yesterday I did Combat 45 instead of Kenpo..The Muai Thai section always smokes me during that section. The rest of the workout isn't that hard. My legs are still a bit sore from legs and back. Been very busy the last few days at work with presidents day being on a Monday. Its been screwing me up making me work hours then i'd like. Will be doing X-stretch in a while since I just got home. Tomorrow chest and back bring it

chest and back yesterday and it was amazing how much better I did compared to last week when was still suffering from the effects of a tetanus shot. Numbers way up across the board because of the shot. Total pushups 434 vs last weeks of 388. Total pullups yesterday 59 vs last week of 55. So big improvement across the board. I'm sure I did get that much stronger in a week it had to have been due to the pain and discomfort from the shot. Am sore across my chest today but not so much on my back. Today is vertical plyo little nervous since the warmup always kills me. Some 6 or 7 weeks from today is my live workout with Shaun T can't wait.

Just finished Shoulders and Arms and Ab Shredder from Asylum Volume 2. Made a lot of gains this week compared to last week. Will need to go heavier on a few moves mainly the triceps since those are a weak spot for me. Ab shredder what can i say is just brutal. I forgot entirely about how hard the elbow knee tap section is and for how long it lasted also. The plank spider series up to where Danilelle gets kicked out of just sucked. The V taps to in and out ab section wasn't bad. Yesterday did Vertical Plyo what can be said that hasn't been said already..its a rocker.
