Is There a Good Alternative to Push-ups
I just started Insanity. I don't have the strength to do a push-up, and because of a paralysis on my right side, it may take me a little longer to gain the strength to do one.

Is there an exercise that would be good to do in place of the push-up exercises?

CRL2007: Congratulations on Starting Insanity. Let's see if this helps. Do you have bands? If so you could anchor the bands, in a door at chest height, and simulate a pushupby going through the movement. From there you could use the wall for your base to do pushups, then the floor, from your knees, and so on. I hope that helps.

Are you able to do push-ups while on your knees? That's the best way to modify them. I know many of the Insanity moves aren't just normal push-ups, but you could always do that for any plank moves he has you do.
