What to do next?

Hey everyone, just looking for some good advice.
I have completed a round of Insanity and continued on with Chalean/Insanity Hybrid. I am on the last week of Month 2 of Chalean Extreme/Insanity Hybrid and I am looking ahead to my next workout schedule.
I love the 30 lbs I dropped with Shaun T. and now Chalean is getting me ripped. I want to continue my journey by maintaining my fitness level and my newly sculpted body.
WHAT SHOULD I DO NEXT?
I am a little worn out by Insanity and could use a break. I was thinking of another round of Chalean with TurboFire...I need some opinions...please help!!!!emoticon

Hi Cowbel,

Great job on the 30lb weight loss! That's awesome! You should look into adding some resistance training. A program like P90X will do just that. The resistance training will help build your muscle and make you look more toned and ripped. Also, 1 lb of muscle burns around 30-50 cal per day. P90X also has cardio days and yoga. High- Intensity training is the best program for losing weight, but your body will adapt and you'll hit a wall. Since you have been doing this type of training for several months, it's good to change your workout training up to force the muscle to re-adapt to a new style of training. Feel free to reach out to me if you need some help.

The CLX/TF is a good hybrid you'll get your weight training with CLX but also your cardio from TF. The beginning of the hybrid is 2 weeks or so of recovery which would be good for your body to recharge. You will go through every phase of CLX with cardio or HIIT on the days in between. But if you didn't like CLX then you could also consider P90X like Jeff had mentioned, look into both and see what you believe you will enjoy the most.

Hey Cowbel!! My daughte Kalee r (username SoreyFitness) and I up until Jan have done CLX/TF as our staple workout. We love it!! It will give you the intense cardio as Insanity but with a different style. CLX/Combat would be good, too. When you get ready for a different strength, as a fellow fan of CLX, I recommend PUMP. It's different than CLX in that its lighter weights with more reps. I know as a CLX girl I kinda snubbed my nose at that...like "I'm a heavy-weight girl. I'm not going down." I was WRONG. My word PUMP will kick your butt because there are SO many reps with light weights. Your muscle are screaming (but in a good way) at the end =) Anyway...Kalee has a bunch of different hybrids that might help you pick your next combo. [Edited by CSBB5]. Take a look if you want. Let us know if you have any questions =)

Hell! I have done the Turbo Fire- Chaleane Extreme Hybrid- loved it! Also did P90 and P90X2- loved them both, but P90X2 was an "easier"( ie not so hard on my joints) workout than P90. Taking a break from the Chalene workouts, and doing Hip Hop Abs, going to get Combat and Tai Cheng soon. Whichever one you choose, congratulations on the good job so far, keep pushing that play button!
