Let's get pumped up and KICK IT INTO GEAR!!!

I created this thread ultimately to bring together a group of people committed to LES MILLS COMBAT and ready to ROCK their fitness!!

Has anyone done Les Mills Combat yet? Is anyone curious about it?

I have been doing it and WOW!!! Definately works your arm and BUTT!!!! No joke! I've done Insanity a few times and this is new moves and suprises those muscles and wakes them up!

I want to hear from those doing it or have done it! What do you think?

I am actually going to be going back to Insanity as I feel Combat has made my progress that I got from Insanity go backwards. I am actually gaining weight doing Combat and am in week 7 as of today. I will finish it but once I do will try Insanity again to get my results back. Anyone else feel they have gone backwards doing Combat?

I'm sorry to hear that you weren't happy with it. Do you think your weight gain could be from the lifting weights? I do LOVE Insanity and will be doing Asylum this summer for sure! If you want to check it out I have a great Insanity thread going. Here is the link:

I started this a few weeks ago, but then got sick, so I am starting over at day 1 today (I did it this AM. Would love to motivate each other!! I have never been in a message board like this so it might be fun to check in and see everyone's progress... Anyone out there??

I have to pretty much agree, I LOVE Combat, but I find that I keep my weight off and stay at the top of my game with Insanity and TurboFire. I'll use Combat as an "extra" workout the days I feel I want more, because I really do enjoy it.

I have done the INsanity program and bits and peices of P90X, but from about Sept - Dec I did nothing; I just could not get motivated. The Kenpo workout in P90X I fell in love with, so when I saw the Les Mills Combat training, I knew I had to get it. I love it so far!! I am just hoping to slim back up and gain a 6 pack and some more upper arm strength with the workout. I may start to slip in some Insanity on the Combat rest days, just to up the intensity and speed up the fat loss...

Just started les mills combat yesterday! I'm in love! What a fun program, I just finished slim and 6 and lost 21 pounds in 6 weeks! So excited to see results from this program!

That's a good idea just be sure you keep one rest day a week or your body won't have a chance to rest and catch up! 1 Rest day is super important! That's a great day though! I acually like doing a mix of Combat and Insanity but I think that's because I LOVE Insanity and almost can't give it up, lol!

AWESOME!!! WELCOME!!! You will definately begin to tone with Combat, my arms back abs and butt...ok who are we kidding, my whole body can feel a difference! Keep your measurements for sure! I am noticing an improvement in strength!!

I am actually going to be finishing up Combat on the 28th of this month and starting P90X on March 18th... Combat is a great program! Push yourself, stay with the fight, and always doing all your techniques with CONTROL. That is a big mistake people forget about. They get really tired or bein t slack along with their form when kicking or punching which could result in a lazy workout and injury. I absolutley love Combat since I'm in martial arts so it has definately helped me keep my stregth up high emoticon

I've beem doing this for 2 weeks now. Love it, love it, love it!! I really enjoy the 45 minute combat workout. It only seems like I am working out for about 20 minutes because the time goes by so fast. Feel absolutely great after the combat 30 and 45. I couldn't believe how sore my back and arms were after doing these the first time. Great feeling!! I am having a tough time with the Hiit Plyo though. It's a little too much for my fitness level. I decided to lift weights on those days instead, then I'll try again as I get a little fitter. But so far so good!!

Awesome!! I love hearing the excitement!! Just remember that even if it's too much, use the modifiers they show. That will help you to get stronger and work up to it. Take breaks but if you keep trying you will eventually get it! Any progress is PROGRESS!!

Today I did Combat HIIT 1!! Gottal love that plyo! Ugh! I can't wait to get some abs in this week!
