Hi, I just started shakeology and I'm on my second day.
I drank it instead of my dinner and I've been having much more craving for food.
When I woke up in the morning I felt like I would eat anything and also the digestion is faster than usual. I come back home from school craving and just everything is so delicious lol
I'm not drinking it because I want to lose weight but because I'm a busy college student eating poorly and not feeling energetic throughout the day. My expectation is to gain more energy and feel healthy, so eating a lot is not too much of my concern. And currently I'm not working out at all, so I thought I would start working out since I began shakeology if that helps me to feel more active.
So my question is why am I craving so much when I'm not even working out and eating my breakfast and lunch right amount? is this normal or what would be causing this?
I'm not sure if it could be a good thing or bad thing. Could it be that my metabolism was poor and the shake is working in my body to produce more energy? Even when I'm writing this I still feel hungry.
any thoughts or suggestion please...?
Any idea what your total calories are for the day? If you are replacing dinner with Shakeology, it could be that your body simply is not getting enough food. 160 calories is not a lot. There are more calories than that in 1 oz. of nuts. I have no idea what you were eating for dinner before, but it is entirely possible that Shakeology is hundreds of calories less than what your body is used to. If you are not looking to lose weight, but rather to supplement your nutrition and for a boost of energy -- then I would consider it as a supplement, and use it in that manner, instead of trying to replace an entire meal with it.
