Shakeology, gas

I have been using Shakeology for over 2 years. It has helped me so much with my energy and immunity.

However, it clearly creates a gas problem for me after drinking it.

I use the Whey Chocolate and love the taste. My husband uses Tropical and seems to have no trouble. I'd hate to give up my whey Chocolate.

I don't use much dairy and always blend Shakeology with almond milk or water. No difference in gas. I eat clean and have been a good eater all my life...only gotten better since BB 2 years ago.

What is this a sign of? Do I need more enzymes? Gas-X? Pro-biotics?

To this point I have accepted it as part of a trade off with being healthy. But my husband is not so glad about it.

Ideas?

You can try using gas-x or other gas eliminating supplements. Of course you'll want to make sure it is okay by asking your doctor. Could you have a dairy intolerance? The difference between the vegan's and the reg. choco and green berry is it doesn't contain whey. I've noticed the reg. chocolate has made me this way. When I switched to the vegan chocolate, I haven't had the same effects.

What I normally suggest is trying a 1/2 scoop of Shakeology at a time and see if that helps to change it. Sometimes 1 full scoop is too much at a time.

You may have a whey allergy, which is presenting in the form of gas. I am guessing if you are gassy you might also be bloated?
