Hey my name is Julie. Im 25. I have 2 kids and its time to start thinking about myself for once. Im ready to start losing weight and monday I will be put to the test with insanity. Is anybody else starting monday or would like to join me to share progress? Let me know...I will be doing an update after my first day and will also post before pictures. Feel free to do the same. I plan on eating healthier for breakfast and dinner. I will be making a protien shake for lunch after my work outs. I will also be taking fish oil, b-12 and possibly oxy pro lite. Ill be trying to drink water like a fish. if anyone has any other suggestions please let me know. Thanks!

I'm in! Just got my challenge workout (Insanity and Shakeology!). Plan to start on Monday too!emoticon I'm very excited about doing the program! They say it's pretty intense, just hope I can stick with it. Good luck!

Starting 2/25 as well. Hoping to stay motivated and on track with the Insanity program. This will be a challenge. I may have to be creative with modification and scheduling, but I'm determined to make this work!

I am also starting with little to no exersice recently. I was thinking we can post before and after pictures on day 30 so everyone can see everyones progress. Then again on day 60. I personally plan on doing to rounds of insanity so after my 9 weeks is up I will be starting all over. That is unless I decide to try a new program. Possibly P90X. Tomorrow is the big day! Everyone try to check in daily to keep track of ur progress. I think it will help most of us stay motivated. Anyone else want to share a bit about what their fitness goals are? I plan on losing 65 pounds and hopefully toning a lil along the way.

I'm in. I'm 46 years old and this will be my second time through - I did Insanity for the first time last September and October, and I loved the results. But then came November and the holidays and I dropped off with my workouts and ate very badly, and I need to get back to a steady routine again. I'm starting Monday (did my fit test today - yikes), and I need help staying motivated and being held accountable. The upside is, I know from having done it that we CAN make it through these workouts, and we can get great results. Good luck everyone!

IM in Starting 2/25 also need to get into better shape before it is to late. Had a bad 2012 with a major injury and at 46 the weight just jumps on you if you stop working out. Good luck tomorrow to everyone!!

Well I did my first fit test today. Im a little sick, but I can see this will be a crazy tough 60 days either way. Im hoping i can fight through this without getting more sick.

What were everyones fit test results? Here are mine. Feel free to copy and paste and add your own scores. :-)

I am so glad you posted. I realize how much work I have to do. I consider my self "active" but inconsistent with my prior workouts. My numbers are reflective of that routine. My goal is to pull better numbers by the next fit test. Quite the challenge, I hope
all goes well with plyo/cardio circuit...Stay Strong!

I started a month ago and am now into the Recovery week. It is working for me!! All I can say is "Drink the Kool Aid" by into the whole thing and Dig Deeper! good luck to all of you!

im in. Did my fit test yesterday.

Switch kicks- 65

thats it.... I almost passed out after power jacks. The room was spinning, was seeing dots, i couldnt stand up, stomach hurt, breathing insanely hard. It took me 30 mins to recover. I almost wanted to ask my dad to drive me to the hospital, it was a terrible experience, it almost made me not want to ever touch insanity if the fit test did this to me. I then took a nap and woke up feeling normal again. Im not quite sure what happened. the work out wasnt hard.i think its cause i had a small breakfast- 2 eggs, apple, and water at 7:30am. I began the fit test at around 10:30 am. maybe i wasnt hydrated enough, didnt eat enough, and was pushing my self.

so today, Day 2- plyometrics cardio circuit- i had a bigger breakfast. a sandwich with toasted wheat bread slices, a little mayo, turkey breast, mixed greens salad, and some avocados with a glass of orange juice. Drank two bottles of water before hand. waited an hour and throughout the work out drank another. No dizziness, except with the get-down-on-hands-and-the-standup type movements. I couldnt completely do the video, but thats expected for first day. i took alot of breaks but jumped in when i can. mentally i wanted to do it but physically my body said no. Half way through i burned out of energy and couldnt muster up the strength to do the moves. My muscles werent fatigued or anything, i just ran out of energy. Still jumped in where i could. completed day 2emoticon

Well I did the Fitness Test last night and Ohhhhh boy was I exhuasted! I thought after Zumba and cardio machines at the gym I was fit but after last night I realized that I wasn't!!! Plus, my house is tile so the Push Up Jacks and Low Plank Obliques I couldn't do due to the slidding on the tile. I tried using the yoga mat but even the sweat didn't help to get my numbers. I'm going to have to go buy a mat and use weight gloves to get a good grip. Didn't realize this was going to get complicated! But I did manage to work up an Insane Sweatemoticon

Here are my numbers for fitness test.

well I woke up more sick today than yesterday. I'm hoping ill be better by next week. so I can continue right away. Pretty bummed ill be a week behind everyone now. Gotta let my body get better. Thanks to everyone whose posting. Lets keep it going. Good luck the rest of this week!
