Hail 300!!

Well here I am at 2:30 in the morning unable to sleep...again...because my shoulder is killing me. He is my update. I went in for surgery a week ago this past Monday to fix a torn ligament and to clean out the rotator cuff of bone spurs and other debris. As soon as they put me under my arm comes out of it's socket. this means I have a torn Labrum too. So essentially I had three for one surgery. I hope to have some pics. the bruising was impressive. I had my first therapy session and they were amazed at how much range of motion I had. They attributed it to my level of fitness prior to the surgery which of course was due to P90X. I even ran around a little today at spring football practice. I hope to be able to at the least start some cardio soon. Well, I think now I'll try to get some more sleep. GN Sparta!!

DanL, I hope your shoulder starts feeling better soon, that's a bummer. I couldn't sleep last night either, don't know why. Guess I'll just get started on some FOY and then see how the day goes. It's going to take a little bit to get used to this new site and figure out where things are.

Nice web site. I like the new design. It will take some getting use to I'm sure. Well YogaX was completed this morning but I never logged in to WOWY. I’ll start back up tomorrow. Have a good day

Hi everyone! Starting to get used to my way around the new site. Been playing around for an hour. emoticon Better get off soon and get some other things accomplished.

Today is ONE ON ONE Fountain of Youth. Looking forward to that!

I reached a milestone this week. I'm at the lowest weight since joining BB in 2003. I'm finally below the 140's. Scale reads...139.6! My ultimate goal is around 123 lbs so I still have a little more work to do. BUT I'LL GET THERE!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Completed FOY this morning and feel terrific. I have an easier time doing yoga in the evening when I am a little more nimble, but this morning is just what the doctor ordered. I have also hit a milestone of sorts, it was one year ago today that I placed my order for P90X. Here I am, a year after placing the order still going at it. My major battle at that point and still today has been diet but it is getting better and I am making changes. If I had kept at the diet the whole time, and not taken any breaks between rounds (I've only completed 2) then who knows where I would be now. I'll take what I have though and improve. I think later this week I'll post my pictures from Day 1 when I first started this craziness and where I am today. Looking at the picture posted of me now reminds me that I really need to update because that was me at the end of round 1 and there have been some changes since then. On a slightly disturbing and yet humorous note, I was trying on some of my suits last night to make sure they still fit. I tried on one that I bought when I was at my heaviest (about 230 with a waist size I don't even want to think about) and am happy to say that it didn't fit (I'm now about 178, size 32)..it fell off of me. I got a little chuckle out of that, but then was also horrified to remember that the suit fit me at one point. Yikes, don't want to go back there.

New Site & Congratulations!

Hey everyone! Finally found this thread. For some reason I can't find my "favorites" anymore so I had to manually search to find this. This new website looks awesome, but WOWY is so confusing for me now. I've been pushing play the last couple of days while the site has been down. I never knew how much I relied on WOWY and the forums here as I've felt lost without them. I'll continue playing around with what's here still.

Lori, congratulations on getting to your lowest weight with BB so far. That has got to feel amazing.

My eating has not been great the last two days. Maybe a 4/5 and 3/5. I was doing well, but this seems to be where I'm slipping up. I'm typically not this bad and it starting to wear down on me because I feel so guilty. I usually lose it at dinner time. Breakfast, snacks, and lunch are 5/5...but dinner is where I go down hill. I'm going to try to bring it back to square 1 again. Have a great day Spartans!

So, not shockingly, all my posts have disappeared. I guess because my Forums name (Alli_WV) was slightly different from my MBD name(AlliWV) I lost it all, even though I had the same email for both. This would explain why I was getting two newsletters every month though.

I started the Lean phase of CLX this week, and it's kicking my backside. I'm pretty sore and tired overall. I'm also getting pretty burned out with work and school. My workouts are really the only thing I have to look forward to (and playoff hockey, which is almost over). However, I'm going to start on a new project for work that should be fun. I may be able to turn some of it into my own art as well.

As for the new site, It's going to take some time getting used to. It looks good though.

Good morning everyone! I have been having serious bb.com withdrawls! So excited about the new site but very overwhelmed at the same time! I will def. need to spend time exploring and learning all the new sections. I just wanted to stop in say hi and let you know ive been good ALL week! I took my very first spin class last saturday and LOVED it. It's my new weekly fitness obsession! Well.. besides bb ;) I will be taking a Saturday 8am class every week now emoticon I burned 650 calories in 60 mins! Not bad!

Also yesterday was my last day of Burn Phase of my 2nd round of CLX. Today begins Push Phase w/ Push 1 and GBG Abs! Yes!

I'll be taking 30 day pics/measurements/weight tomorrow emoticon

New TBB site advice

You have to approach this site as a first time user. Don't expect a lot to be carried over. Just when you first signed up back in the day to either WOWY.com or Beachbody.com or MillionDollarBody.com or now TeamBeachbody.com you have to start with your profile. Start there. Make sure everything is correct and up to date. I was annoyed that WOWY was in PST, well, when you set up your profile you will have the ability to once again to select your time zone.

Take it step by step, update your profile and then slowly start to progress from left to right and start to get accustomed to how it all works. I have my frustrations about the new site as we all do. Lets remember to keep this positve, ask questions if you are lost and simply continue to push play, workout and support one another.

Wow! What a difference! Like it was mentioned earlier, it's amazing how much I, too, rely on WOWY & the forums. This week has been a disaster. I had to switch up shifts this week so I could go to the Nine Inch Nails show Tuesday night(which was fabulous by the way...Street Sweeper Social Club brought down the house). Also, the stress of signing into a new apartment for August, and having to figure out all of the finances associated with it, have been really wearing me out. With all of that happening, my rhythm has gotten all screwed up. I've missed a workout or two, and have been kicking the hell out of myself because of it. I missed today's too, and won't be able to get it in due to after work commitments.

Regardless, I'm not making any more excuses for it, and tomorrow morning, I get back on the horse to finish out the week strong, and get back into my cycle.

On the plus side, though, my diet has stayed strong. I've only had one or two bad choices since getting on a healthier food kick a few weeks ago. Like sharing a cinnamon pretzel with my girlfriend at the concert, for example. Despite the minimal slip-ups, I'm down 10 pounds, and I'm fitting into a size 34 pair of jeans that I haven't worn in years. Things are going so swimmingly, in fact, that I have to buy a new(smaller) belt to fit my waist, and I'm going to have to buy some new jeans soon, since even the 34s are sliding down past my hips, and hanging off of my butt.

Suffice to say, I'm happy & not happy with myself. Happy with the diet & slimming progress, but unhappy with the workout routine this week. One of those will be fixed, and the other I'm proudly congratulating myself, and focusing on making even further progress.

Long story short, and this goes for everyone that struggles with a routine/diet/workouts/whatever. While you will inevitably stumble somewhere along the line, what defines you is not how you stumbled, but how you picked yourself up and continued your journey.
