Diane. Awh thank you!! I'm happy being your Surrogate Coach! LOL! Proud of how far you've come and happy to be a part of your crazy insane journey. Glad you're still killin' it with Dan and Rach lady!!

Corrina. Isn't Relief awesome?! Such a *relief*, and you're right, it comes just at the right time! Can't believe you're already halfway through Asylum now!! Are you thinking about tackling Asylum Volume 2 after these 30 days are up?! I'm sure you'd LOVE it!! For the record, it's 10x better than Volume 1, in my opinion (okay, maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration but you catch my drift!) I'm obsessed with V2 - Shaun T incorporates dumbbells into every single routine and it's just such a fantastic well-rounded program. Love it. Oh and your nutrition sounds ridiculously awesome, glad you're logging it on here!

Jenn. Thank you girlfriend!! I feel pretty stinkin' lucky to have all you ladies as well, just sayin'!! Glad to hear you absolutely demolish Shock Plyo and Core Attack this morning. Isn't that V-Roll-Up Crunch sequence bruuuutal!! I whipped out the 8lb dumbbell and my abs were NOT happy with me when the bell rang, DING DING! LOL! PS: Do you know approx. when those episodes will be up on your website?! I'm excited to watch it, after seeing the promo!

Shannon. Welcome aboard our crazy INSANE TRAIN and thanks for your introduction, glad to have you with us! Congrats on deciding to take the plunge with Insanity, how much are you loving it so far?! Were you able to walk on the weekend, and did you fair okay at work yesterday?! Sounds like you've got some great motivated to power through the next few months and really whip your butt into shape for that cruise! Looking forward to hearing more from you girlie! Keep digging deep, Shaun T will get you there!!

Nat. Thank you!! And yes, that second circuit of PCC is bruuutal, especially the Ski Abs/In & Outs!! Shaun T is evil no doubt! Too funny about your hubby being humbled by Cardio Abs! I love it!! You should surprise him and whip out MAX Interval Plyo, just sayin'! LOL!

Sam. Sorry to hear Asylum just wasn't for you, I hear what you're saying though... Insanity will always hold a very special place in my heart. So awesome that you're gettin' insane at 4:30am in the morning, woohooo!!

Emma. Yes, I agree... Inner Warrior Strength and Stretch wasn't my cup of tea either. I nixed it right off my hybrid calendar. Would much rather spend my time with Shaun T (obvs!) LOL! Anyways, good call with passing on Core Attack, you don't want to aggravate your neck any further! Hope it's feeling closer to 100% in the next day or so!!

Emily. Awh thanks girl!! But for the record, you're pretty freakin' dedicated and inspiring as well... so be proud of that. Speaking of, Championship/OT followed by MAX Cardio - woohoo!! Glad you killed it!! And your dinner sounds yummy!! I'm sure it was delish!!

-------------------------------------------

Alright girls, here's my accountability from this morning: Warrior Mode On: HIIT Shock Plyo & Core Attack!

Oh and I forgot to mention yesterday, I'm doing a *water challenge* for the duration of the week: 100oz a day! My water intake had been lacking a bit, so it's time to step it up!! 80 down, 20 to go! Feel free to join me!

Ciao for now girls!

Well, I was loving Insanity, until I just finished Pure Cardio. Uh, where was the break? I don't think I've ever sweat so much. Good I suppose! I was able to walk at work. I'm sure I'll be feeling this. So glad I found this group....I'll have to catch up on posts over the next few days. emoticon I'm whipped, off to bed.

2/27/13 11:27 AM as a reply to SkylinkFitness.
I started INSANITY almost a month ago and I am already feeling stronger. My INSANITY was a gift from a friend after I mentioned that I needed to get into shape before my bad habits put me in a hospital. I had experience a series of really painful chest pains that sometimes left my entire left side numb and there is no way I am giving up on life in my 20's! I work a desk job from early morning to late at night so INSANITY is the most active I get to be and it is sooo much FUN!!! I am 4'11 and at 155 (down from 160 when I started) my body is carrying more weight than it should. My goal is 130 so I am in! Like Shaun T says, I can Freakin Do It! emoticon

Alright girls... something's off. emoticon

Today is a scheduled rest or stretch day for V2 but I still wanted a workout. I have never walked out of a workout class, cut a run short, or walked out on Shaun T... but today I did. I've always set an exercise goal and accomplished it no matter what. I've been eating well and plenty, too much usually, but just can't shake it. I started Strength from V1, one of my favorites, made it through the first cardio dumbbell round and just had to stop. Not sure if it's mental or physical. Took a shower and now I'm sitting here feeling dizzy but my blood sugar is fine and not hungry. Grrr...

I'm sure tomorrow I'll pull it together. 2 more weeks of V2 can't stop now!!!

Hope all of you had great workouts today! Have a great evening! emoticon

Shannon. Isn't Pure Cardio such a BEAST?! When I first did it, I was NOT a fan, but by the time all was said and done, it actually turned out to be my favorite Month 1 Insanity workout. I'm sure it'll grow on you too!! I'm glad you found us, girlie!! Looking forward to hearing more from you!!

Jenn. Yay! Glad you're down the *week long water challenge*!!! I'm going to try and get into the habit of hitting at least 100oz every day for the next 21 days and hopefully it will stick! Anyways, I'm glad crushing Combat 60 Live this morning put you in a good mood, that's what it's all about baby!! Love it! Happy Hump Day!!

Kreez. Hello!! Welcome aboard our INSANE TRAIN!! And congrats on surviving the past month of Insanity, that's awesome! And what a GREAT gift from your friend, doesn't get much better in my opinion! lol! I'm happy you're loving the craziness and are having fun with it. With patience, consistency in your workouts and nutrition, you'll reach your goal soon enough. Just gotta focus and go, as Shaun likes to tell us! Keep us posted on your progress!

Emily. Awh! Sorry to hear you're feeling a bit off. But since it's a scheduled rest day, I think your body is tellin' you something: it wants and needs the REST!! I know how hard it can be to just *sit still*, twiddling your thumbs until the next workout (lol yes, I'm insane too!) but our bodies really do need that one day a week to chill out and recover properly to keep goin' at it! Make sure you're staying super hydrated and fueling yourself with lotsa good stuff today so ready to press play tomorrow (only if you're feeling better though!) Keep your head up and pat yourself on the back for being so freakin' AWESOME these days. Kapeech?!

------------------------------------------------------

Alright girls, here's my accountability/blog from this morning: Pure Contact With Shaun T, Baby! Oki doke, I'm off to whip up my "dessert" (Tropical Strawberry Shakeo!!) and then hit the hay hopefully early tonight!

Only 1 week left of combat emoticon. That 2 months has just flown by! I'm going to do my last 5 days of combat monday - friday next week, then take the weekend off and start Asylum 2 on monday the 11th March. Anyone keen to join me? I'm going to do a 5 day detox next week also as it's a month since my last one. Should defs get my body all ready to take on Shaun T and Asylum 2 emoticon

Shannon I said the exact same thing the first time I did Pure Cardio. Where are the breaks! I had to make up my own emoticon

I did Max Recovery yesterday morning. This morning was Max Interval Circuit. At least I didn't have to do the fit test before it this time but it was still tough. My nutrition has been good so far this week except for the pizza I ate last night oops! I will gladly join the water challenge. I'm at 128 oz for the day.

I can't believe yall are almost done with Combat already! Of course I can't believe I'm already in month 2 of Insanity. I guess it's time to decide what I'm going to do next.

Welcome kreez!!

Yesterday got workout done and then today got my max cardio conditioning and cardio abs done today! I hate Wednesdays. My daughter has ballet in the morning so I always have to wait until after we are done. Well today hubby came with us and we stopped at Arby's emoticon I should've got a sandwich like his because even after 3 hours after eating, I felt like I wanted to get sick 3 or 4 times during my workout emoticon that was the only bad thing I really ate today. At least with high calories. Need to cut out this bad stuff but so hard to get around the guys eating lately.

Gonna keep pushing though. I have a week 1/2 left!!!

Hi ladies!
Diane: I can't believe how fast combat passed!! What are your plans for after?? I think I'm going to stick to my original plan. Insanity/combat hybrid which I shall dub, "comsanity" it think it will be roughly75 days and then I'm chomping at the bit for asylum1+2......... I want to perfect my combat routines and, I'm liking how much my legs are feeling it. With summer just a season and change away, it feels like a good decision. Insanity I miss so much and I think it will be the perfect cardio/ arm workout.........if your liking Dan and Rach so much, up the ante and go at it again! your awesome lady, you and your push ups rock!

Kreez: your damn right you can freakin do it! I can't wait for you to reach your goal. Excited to hear about your journey. Hug your friend for me. She's awesome!

Emily: hope you woke today feeling good. Listen to your body lady........ Your a warrior.

Emma: I hope your neck is 100% today or tomorrow. Be careful! Nice work motoring on despite your ailment......yikes.

Shannon: the girls are right. Totally will become a favorite. I like that there's no repetition. You can tackle each exercise knowing that it's not coming back to torture you yet again (and of course, AGAIN)

Ok ladies, just doing a. Heck in. Tackling nap time. Great sweet treat recipe....homemade marshmallows!,! Made them with the kids, SZo MUCH FUN!
.75oz. Unflavored gelatin
3/4cup water divided
2/3cup light corn syrup
2cups sugar
2tsp.peppermint
2tsp.vanilla
1/4cup cornstarch
1/4cup confectioner sugar

1/2cup water and gelatin in bowl of electric mixer. Let gelatin dissolve. Bring sugar, corn syrup and 1/4 cup water to a hard boil for 1 minute. Poor sugar mixture into gelatin mixture. Mix on high for 12 minutes, add peppermint and vanilla mixing until just combined......pour into a 9x9 (lined with sprayed Saran wrap) cover with sprayed Saran wrap) let sit for 4 hours. Pop out of pan. Cut into 40 (huge!!) marshmallows and dredge in cornstarch/ confectioner sugar combo) enjoy!!
There's no fat. 12.2 g sugar each and 15 calories
GREAT way to curb a sweet tooth. Extremely easy, delicious (especially with kids) and fun to make!!

Hi ladies!! I just read through the first and last couple pages of this thread! You all are inspiring. I would love to join in your group if you would have me! emoticon

A little about me....I am on day 20 of Insanity. I have three small children, a husband that travels for work, a full time job and a photography business. I would love to have my pre-baby body back, but have always used my busy life as an excuse not to work for it. I am 5'3 and started at 165. I am currently down to 154 and would love to get into the 130s. I am happy to say that I am feeling extremely motivated and that I am loving Insanity. It was just what I needed. Making the time for it isn't always easy, but I love that I can do it in the comfort of my home at 10pm if I need to (and I have).

Hello Girls

Today I can honestly say is one of those days for me. It started out by me having a GRAY moment was schedule to do Power HIIT 1 and I for some reason popped in Upperbdy Blow out I didn't noticed it til I came back on to my computer and and saw what it said on the WOWY gym. Oh well right at least I did a workout. I also threw TurboFire AB workout and my abs were screaming from it!!and they have been all day I think I was still feeling it from when I did Core Attack. I took a day of Push-ups my arms are feeling it today also.

Now in a up note I am going to be a Grandma for the second time my son and his fiance are having a baby boy in July. So far his name will be Masyn Ross.emoticon

Jenn I having tossing around what I want to do next I definitely want to do another round of Combat I really notice the change on the back and side of my legs also on my butt. I contribute that to my squats the Butt that is.
I was going to do Insanity and Combat but opted to do TurboFire and Combat instead will see if that gives me what I am looking for if not I will go back to Insanity. Don't get me wrong I will be throwing in some Shaun T along the way though.
I will definitely have to try your recipe for Homemade Marshmallow with my grandson.

Catrina Welcome to the group these girls are GREAT group of Gals very supportive!
I read your little bio and you are a busy lady. I am positive that you will meet your goal with Shaun T, Insanity is an Awesome program I loved it and still do.

Well have a good day and Stay with the fight Girls

Can't wait to incorporate ShaunT and his core action back in after next week..

Diane: a workout is a workout. It's still pressing play and doing it!! I hope you do make those marshmallows they're AWESOME!!!!! My daughter is like curious George with these. Hysterical. And, it's not messy considering...... Ding ding!!

Hi Catrina: nice to have you on board!! Best place to stay accountable and get support! Can't wait to hear about your, "journey"

Jenn. Oh my goodness, those homemade marshmellows just made me salivate! LOL! They look awesome!! Thanks for sharing the recipe, though I'm not sure I could trust myself with those puppies in the house. JP (my fiance) doesn't have much of a sweet tooth (lucky duck!) so unfortunately I would be left to eat them all, which would NOT be cool. lol! I love your idea of "Comsanity!" LOL! And then Asylum V1 and V2. Sounds like a great plan. You'll be rockin' a smokin' hot bod come summertime (not that you aren't already, just sayin'!!)

Catrina. Welcome aboard our crazy INSANE TRAIN!! Happy you found us! By the sounds of things, you're one busy woman so congrats on finding the time to dig deep and kill it with Shaun T! I love it! Looking forward to hopefully hearing more from you girlfriend!!

Kelly: I can't wait to hear that quote in my living room! "its hell on earth in the asylum people" I already love it! Quick question, I see that you can purchase 1+2 as a set. Do you recommend doing 1 before diving newbie feet first into Asylum2?? I'm assuming yes. I'm thinking I better know the equipment in and out before moving on........ Anyways, spaghetti squash, yummmmmmmm!! I jarred my own tomatoes thus year. Some, I roasted on the grill in August.....added those to a roasted spaghetti squash and I almost couldn't share! Too good. Important little note ladies:great way to sneak kids (and childish adults) vegetables. AND of course, thanks for your many kind words! Comsanity it is! The website is looking AWE-SOME! (as was your dinner!)

Ok girls, I need to pull it together. I have about 30 oz of water to go. How did I get into this water rut??!? I need to focus and go. (probably to the bathroom at 2 am)

Jen - Sounds like a great plan! Your marshmellows look awesome but dangerous lol! I'm like Kelly my husband doesn't like sweets (crazy man!) and I would eat them all.

Diane: Congrats on being a Grandma! Very exciting.

Missed my morning workout, like all Friday's. My husband and I bowl on Thursday nights, and for some reason we were the last ones to leave last nigth, so I didn't get to bed until 11:45. I plan on doing PCC & Cardio Abs this evening after work. Speaking of hubs...he surprised me yesterday with Shaun T's Rockin' Body program. Have any of you ever heard of it? I just watched the commercial for it and the music sounds awesome, but I can't dance worth a lick. I have a feeling that we will be doing a lot of laughing with this one. And I must add, that this will be done in the living room with the blinds pulled shut, not outside where I do Insanity. I will keep you posted on this little adventure...As for Insanity, next week is recovery week then on to Month 2! Can't wait!

Fridays are my rest days, but I am thinking about doing cardio abs anyways since it's short and I enjoy the workout. I have been really good with my nutrition and staying right around 1400-1500 calories a day. I've been wondering if this is too low though. I still nurse my 16 month old 2-4x/day. I've done the calculator which says I should aim for 1600 (and it doesn't take into account the bfing) but I feel great at 1500 and am not sure what to think.

Hey, I'm back. Had a few days of getting over-tired and hungry and wasn't happy with my eating and didn't allocate time to logging my workouts but I'm back now! So, now up to Day 17 - just did Strength - felt like a very good conditioning workout.

The food thing - I'm not feeling proud at the moment. I'm overeating (I think - I don't calculate calories so maybe that's just what I need?!) and rather than logging the actual food I'm eating, I want to get into planning food ahead. So, putting that intention out here - that I'm more conscious and plan in advance and also say grace before eating so I'm more mindful and thankful of the food going in my mouth.

Thanks for all being here. Felt I was drifting away but knowing I could log back on will keep me on the programme. Bit daunted about Game Day PLUS Overtime coming up in a couple of days!!

Kelly - Yep, I plan to do V2 when V1 finishes (in 13 days or so). Excited! - thanks for the enthusiasm about it emoticon

Jenn. Eeeek!! I have a feeling you're gonna loooooove having an even meaner Shaun T in your living room soon enough! Yes, you can purchase A1 and A2 as a set and I honestly would tackle A1 beforehand. If you feel like you want to jump head first into A2, by all means - all the power to you... I just think that going through A1 was really beneficial for me. With the introduction of the agility ladder, speed rope, and lifting weights again, A1 is no joke. Then Shaun cranks it up a notch in A2 and builds off of everything from A1... the agility sequences are tougher, there's weights in every single routine... he "ain't messin' around" as he so often reminds us! Anyways, that's just my two cents! As for spaghetti squash, that sounds absolutely delish - I don't blame you for not wanting to share! LOL! I'll have to give it a try for sure.

Susan. Glad to hear you've still been gettin' up early this week and killin' it with BEAST month! You go girl!

Nat. That's AWESOME that you guys got Rockin' Body. I feel like it'd be totally fun to see Shaun in a different (less intense) light! And I totally hear you, I'd be closin' them curtains as well. LOL!

Catrina. Hope you enjoyed your Rest Day yesterday (even if you threw in a little Cardio Abs - love that routine!) I'd listen to Jenn RE: calories while nursing - she knows her stuff! Hope your workout went well today, keep us posted!

Emily. Glad you're keeping up with the water challenge this week. I've found that I feel SO much better when I hit 100oz a day, I love it! And my performance during the workouts has improved as well. Woohoo! Happy you're feeling better and still crushin' it in Volume 2. Keep up the fab work, girlie!

Corrina. Way to kill it with Strength, isn't that such an awesome routine?! Love it. Don't stress too much about your food. If you do want to starting logging and tracking your intake, check out www.myfitnesspal.com and sign up for a free account. It's a great tool, I've definitely found it useful - I know Emma uses it as well. Anyways, Gameday and OT is no joke, but you'll be just fine!! Have faith girlie!! And that's SO exciting that you'll be doing Volume 2 afterwards, it's even better... just you wait!! Eeeek!!

I had a wicked day at work (especially for a Friday!) and was so exhausted when I got home that I passed out far too early only to wake up in the middle of the night. I posted my accountability in my blog at 2:45am (lol) so here it is: Better Late Than Never: Day 54 Dunzo!. As for today, Day 55 - I killed it with Asylum Volume 2 X-Trainer and Combat HIIT Shock Plyo!! Oh man, felt freakin' awesome. X Trainer grows on me more and more each time I do it. I think it's cause I'm able to do everything pretty spot on - still struggle a bit with those awful moving matrix push-ups but I'm gettin' there!! As for Combat, I can't believe we only have ONE WEEK left!! Eeek!! Kind of sad really, I've enjoyed gettin' all Ninja with Dan and Rach (much more now, since we've all been able to get along with Shaun T as well lol) SINGLESSSS!!!

Ciao for now girls!! Keep chuggin' that water, let's doooooo this!!

Hi ladies! I was scrolling through the board, and I kept wanting to comment on things, but at this point it would be redundant. So I'll just say, you all are very inspiring! I was really worn out the other day and not sure I'd make it through the workout, and knowing you all were here helped. So thank you!! I have started my 2nd week, and I am hooked. I lost 3 lbs this week (after I swore I wasn't going to weigh myself for a couple weeks) and was so excited. I have tracked every thing I ate on myfitnesspal, and joined your water challenge. Not sure when I've spent so much time in the bathroom. Keep up the great work, and have a good weekend everyone.

I did Max Cardio Conditioning this morning. I went ahead and added on Cardio Abs today instead of on Wed since I had a lot more time this morning than I will on Wed morning. Had a great workout I can feel myself getting stronger! I don't know if its just me getting stronger or what but this month doesn't really seem any harder than month 1 just longer. I can even make it the whole way through some exercises without a break but other ones I still have to take a break during. My nutrition was good yesterday and today and will get in my 128 oz of water both days.

I went to the grocery earlier to stock up on good stuff for the week. Damn healthy food sure is freakin expensive! No wonder there are so many obese people in this country they can't afford to eat healthy food! Ok that's my rant for the day! Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Wow Kelly, are you doing two programs?

Susan, totally understand the vent. It can definitely be more pricey. You can always save by getting some of your protein from beans. emoticon

You girls are doing great with your water! It is an adjustment to drink so much, but I now wake up craving it emoticon

I got my workout in tonight.....one of those 10pm kinda nights emoticon I had a busy day and did stop off to do some shopping. I'm only in the fourth week and it was so nice to experience how differently things are fitting already.....definitely good motivation!!

Day 18 in the Asylum - Relief - done! emoticon

I tried my wedding dress on this morning, 5 years after the event. VERY loose! Quite a wonderful feeling. Especially noticed all the new definition in my arms, shoulders and back (because it's off-the-shoulder). I know many people are at their dream weight on their wedding day and spend the rest of their life looking back and wishing they could fit that size again. I thought I was pretty in-shape on my wedding day but turns out life gets better and better emoticon

Now - you ladies need to help me. I need a goal. I'm 117 lbs and I think as long as I stay under 119 I'll be in good territory there. I'm the size of clothes I want to be (UK size 8) so I feel I need some other measurable goal and I'm looking for inspiration. What goals do you set? Please share all the goals you've used as one of them might spark a great goal for myself! Thanks in advance...

Jenn and Diane I have fallen a few days behind in combat and my last routine will be this saturday. I'm going to start Asylum 2 on 11th March. Either of you girls keen? I totally agree with you both about the changes in your body from combat. I have seen some AMAZING results! I have lost over 14lb the last time I checked my weight and from my end of month one photo I can see how much I have slimmed and the lumps and bumps are going away emoticon. Can't wait to see my final results and measurements this saturday emoticon. I definately LOVE combat. I think I'll do Asylum and then maybe do a comsanity hybrid too!

Corrina If you think you're overeating, I definately recommend logging your food into myfitnesspal. Then you'll see exactly how much you are overeating and you can adjust from there. When I started doing that at the beginning of my journey I was shocked to see how much I was eating (especially at dinner time!). Since I have adjusted my ways I have found it easy to lose weight. As for finding a new goal, I was worried about having the smae problem when I reached my goal. My first goal was to get back into my healthy weight range, once I achieved that I aimed to get to my ultimate weight (60kg) now I'm only 2kg away from that goal and my next goal will be to build more muscle, get a "thigh gap" and to look good naked. Sometimes goals aren't about losing weight but increasing fitness and looking good emoticon. I have an instagram and I follow alot of the health pages and pictures of crazy fit girls with banging bods are my new inspiration and motivation. I know in some cases I'll never look like that, but it's inpirational all the same!

---------------------------------------

Gee this weekend was a carb-fest. Woops... Back on the straight and narrow for me this week. And despite being a little piglet the last week, I lost another kg (2.5lb!). Only 5lb from my ultimate goal weight now emoticon. I'm getting close to my April deadline though so I really should behave over the next few weeks so I can knock it out of the park emoticon

Today:

B: homemade clean coconut and banana bread - I made this saturday morning and it is AMAZING!
S: Ryvita with almond spread
L: weight watchers spinach and ricotta wrap
S: yoghhurt sultanas and almonds
D: not sure yet, need to go to the shops tonight so it'll probably be something easy.

Workout: Combat 45 and core attack

I did Max Interval Circuit this morning. I really went for it and was a total shaky puddle of sweat by the end. My nutrition has been good so far this weekend and on track with the water for 120-128 oz. I also made it through another week with no wine lol! I can't believe it's already Sunday night where does the weekend go!

Ok, REALLY!?!!? EMMMA!!! It took me a minute to figure out who this cute blonde was staring back at me! (with awesome glasses none the less) YOU LOOK A-MAZING! Holy smokes lady! I'm sure you look fabulous naked! Ahaaaaaha! Your husband must be pumped! New home and a hot wife.....! Lucky guy!
So, asylum 2 I REALLY want to jump on board. BUT, I think I'm going todo A1 first (after comsanity) your awesome! I can't wait to ear your review!

Corrina: 12 days left?!? Pretty stinking great! So, motivation?....... I'm in my weight range. I want my whole body to be the best that it can be. Soooooo, yeah. Emma's right. I want to look amazing naked! emoticonemoticonemoticon in all honesty, confidence is a huge one for me. I feel strong doing these programs. I'm in my 30's with 2 kids under my belt (literally!) so, going to the beach in a bikini was a goal for me. I'm pretty confident that I'll be baring a tan tummy this year! Then, it's maintaining it into my golden years........

Susan: awesome work! You've been 110% I can't wait to see your final results (stay away from that scale until the end!!!)

Ok girls. It was supposed to be a rest day. It was a busy work day, being the owners of a company has many perks but, when it comes to taxes....NOT SO MUCH. We owe a substantial amount (as if we don't already pay in too much!! Massachusetts should be ashamed of themselves!) emoticon Anyhow, we have so much going on and keeping everything in order and maintaining perspective sometimes proves to be difficult. So, I had a visit with ShaunT! Pure Cardio and Cardio abs! My daughter wanted to do hip hop abs so, I got my sneakers on and got set up and found her, "playing farm"...... So, I decided to go for a good little workout. It was GREAT! (except for the lazy lady who, "wants to leave" during mountain climbers!! Kills me every time!) felt good to sweat. Weird to throw hooks without my gloves!! My fists feel puny and so......un-fierce. emoticon

Ok ladies,I agree with Susan. Where the heck did the weekend go!?!!! Far too fast. enjoy what remains. emoticon

Well, I *did* Game Day and Overtime (day 19 in the Asylum) but I so wasn't there mentally. Thanks for the goals suggestions, ladies - I'm just really feeling at the moment that I don't have the motivation - I don't want it badly enough - and I don't even know what "it" is currently!

So, I kept pressing play despite wanting to just switch the TV off but I didn't dig deep, and I've decided it's worth spending a few days over on P90X Yoga X and/or Core Cardio and Balance while I'm finding my motivation to get the mental focus back because I want to kill the Asylum workouts when I'm doing them. I want to feel proud when I get in the shower.

So, I'll take a break from Asylum but I'll still do daily workouts and track them here.

Keep pressing play!

Hey girls! So last week of Insanity ahead!!! I ran 3 miles last Thursday since I didn't get to work out, which is normally like recovery day anyways? Then I missed Friday and Saturday workout, which would've been Max Interval Circuit and Core Cardio and Balance. SO on Sunday I did Cicuit, which always kicks my butt anyways! I come out the room dripping with sweat but feeling so freaking pumped lol Now today I'm back on track with Max Interval Plyo. Can't wait to take my after pics. I'm going to do them though on Thursday morning since Friday will have to be my last workout. We are going to Disneyland for the weekend. I hope I can resist all the junk/eating out stuff and try to keep it healthy as possible.

Hope everyone is doing good! I will do individual posts later when I have more time emoticon

Jenn hahahaha thanks babe emoticon. I've gone from being a tubby brunette to a skinny blonde in the last 8 months - wooooo I'm back baby! Sucks that you won't be joining me for A2, but maybe our timing will workout and we can do A1 together in a few months! Sucks about you having to pay so much tax too! I know how you feel - the tax rate in Aus is ridic too. I think I pay about 36% tax. It sucks so back. We pay alot of hidden taxes here too (eg a ranger rover sport in the US is like $50k, here they're $120k... Our dollar is about the same as yours too - such BS). Glad you worked out some of your frustrations with Mr T though emoticon

---------------------------------

Yesterday I locked myself out of the house - hahaha yes I am an idiot. So i decided to do the grocery shopping while I waited for hubby to get home, then I did my workout. Normally it would be the other way around. I had a pretty lazy dinner last night too - chicken burgers on wholemeal buns with fat free mayo. Not the best, but not the worst choice I could've made. I rounded out the day just under 1400 cals.

So today I'm at day 2 of my march detox. Not sure if I'll make the full 5 days I proposed to do, but I'll give it a shot. My tummy is feeling much lighter already emoticon.

Today:

B: clean coconut banana bread
S: ryvita with vegemite
L: weight watchers ricotta and spinach wrap
S: banana with almond spread
D: Chicken Udon Noodle Soup
S: sugar free dark chocolate

Total 1075 cals - I might bump it up with a few almonds for snacks or a latte.

Hello All!

I've completed one round of Insanity, Insanity Asylum Vol 1., Insanity/Asylum Hybrid and am currently half way thru Asylum Vol 2. I'm starting the ShaunT birthday challenge today with him. So, here's to another round of Insanity! If you'd like to know more about me please check out my profile. I won $500 in the BB Challenge in January for my results but I'm hell bent on still going strong. I'm looking to encourage others and be inspired by your dedication. I'm studying to be a Nutritionist because I've become so interested in health and wellness.
Today for me is Insanity Fit Test and Asylum Vol 2 Power Legs. Hope all of you are kicking some butt in your programs. Girls rule!

Shannon. Congrats on the 3lbs, that’s awesome!! Glad you’re using MFP and enjoying Week 2, keep killin’ it!

Susan. Psh, look at chu! Month 2 ain’t no thaaang! LOVE IT! You’re absolutely destroying it lady!! Especially with your water intake, totally jealous of the fact how you consistently hit 128 oz day in and day out. AWESOME!

Catrina. Yes ma’am!! Actually, 4 I guess? LOL! In the last week of a little custom-made Combat, Insanity, Asylum, Asylum Volume 2 hybrid. Am I a little coo-coo?! Yep! Love it though, always look forward to a challenge. Anyways, way to get your workout in so late at night – that’s awesome. Keep on truckin’ girlie!!

Jenn. Sorry to hear taxes have you and hubby a bit fumed, I can imagine it must be a bit of a headache. Agreed though re: gloves! So weird to do those punches during Insanity WITHOUT Combat gloves! Just doesn't feel quite right, does it!? Anyways, keep bein' your AWE-SOME, fabulous self lady!!

Corrina. Awh, sorry to hear you’re feeling a little unmotivated right now. Asylum is tough, no doubt about that. I’m glad you’re not throwing in the towel completely, P90X Yoga and Core Cardio and Balance for a few days sounds like a great idea. Give your body a little rest and you’ll be back crushin’ it in the Asylum in no time. How’s your nutrition? I miss seeing your ridiculously awesome-sounding menus!!

Mel. Woohoo!! Final week, how exciting is that! I’m sure your before and afters will be GREAT! Hope you have a fabulous time at Disneyland on the weekend, you certainly deserve it girlfriend!

Emma. You’re hilarious and YES I agree with Jenn, your new pic is FABULOUS, love it! You should be totally proud of how hard you’ve been killin’ it. And you’re gonna LOVE Asylum Volume 2 – looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it. Menu looks yummy, as always! Will you be trying that “twisted” version of the frozen bananas recipe I potsed on FB? How freakin’ delish do those look?! I might have to make some this week to satisfy any sweet tooth cravings.

Tara. Welcome aboard! Your “portfolio” sounds freakishly familiar…. That’s been my line-up as well. Currently in the midst of wrapping up a little Insanity/Asylum/AsylumV2/Combat hybrid. Anyways, congrats on being the $500 winner, that’s awesome. Sounds like you’ve been workin’ hard and you deserve it.

Eeeek!! Okay ladies, so I apologize for being completely MIA yesterday – I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off for a Sunday! Not cool! Anywayyyyys, I have some very exciting news to report!! I’m not sure if you girls are following Shaun T on Facebook but he officially started Insnaity today – yes, he’s DOING HIS OWN PROGRAM FROM START TO FINISH! Sooooo… being the nostalgic goof that I am, I popped in the Fit Test DVD this morning and dug deep before Combat 60 Live.

Bottom line: Ruth and I are planning to finish out this Combat hybrid in combination with doing Week 1 of Insanity and continue to power through the next 60 days with Shaun, as part of the “ShaunTourage”! LOL! Pretty psyched about it.

We’re still going to be tackling the 84 day Insanity/Asylum/Asylum V2 hybrid come March 25th but it will have the Insanity schedule as its backbone and we’ll be throwing in Upper Elite, Strength, Ab Shredder, Pure Contact, and maybe a few other Asylum workouts as well. Wooohooooo!!! SO EXCITED!!! I’ll post my Fit Test numbers on my website blog when I get home and check back in with you girls a little later. I’ve embedded a few vids from Shaun over the course of the past two days, so you can understand WHY I’m so pumped about it all!!! And LOOK at his "BEFORE" pic! LOL! Not too shabby, Mr. T!!!

Ciao for now ladies!

Hello girls! emoticon

It breaks my heart a little to see the first video of Shaun T.... I WOULD'VE been at the West Virginia workout with him today... emoticon Oh well, sometimes life gets in the way! Hopefully he'll do another tour even closer to where I live, but now that he's a big celebrity it will be more difficult.

I'm still going strong with V2! Today is Championship and I'm excited. I see that some of you are planning on doing V2 next! Yay! I would love to actually do a program with someone else at the same time! I'm getting pretty burnt out though and struggling to push through this next week and a half. I think I'll take an actual recovery week and then decide what to start next. I'd love to do an Insanity/V1/V2 hybrid - does anyone have a schedule for that?

My days are hectic, but I am happy to say that I keep getting them done. I really feel committed to this and don't want to let my busy life turn into an excuse to not take care of myself. I think that every single workout this week is going to have to start at 9-10pm, lol.

Ok let's begin with last nights fit test#'s!

Switch kicks: 132
Power Jacky's:54
Power knees:97
Power jumps:36:
Globe jumps:9
Suicide jumps:15
Push up jacks:29
Low plank oblique:65
Some of my #'s are a few down from my original final test........Dan and Rach are getting a questionable review!!!!! I'm back ShaunT! Yeah baby!

So, today was HIIT: power from Combat. A great workout. Dan hits the nail on the head when he states, you'd never think you would sweat this much just from lifting. I agree! Day 2 of insanity, in the bag! Plyo cardio circuit. Loved it but, my legs were begging for mercy. During basketball drills, I had to DIG. My legs were DONE. How you girls double up daily is a world truly unparalleled. During ski/in and outs I was nearly smiling because, I had forgotten what it feels like to get your ass kicked. The punches at the end were hilarious with no combat gloves. Hard to focus on the hands while your shoulders are SCREAMING though!

Alright ladies, I've got to get busy catching up on posts. My daughter had a special day, getting her ears pierced! (I had to get my ears pierced first! I had to be a good sport.....) such fun. Hope everyone is getting into their grove this week. Let's do this!!

Glad he's forgiven us for spending the past few months with Dan and Rach - never again Shaun, never again!!!! PROMISE! LOL! I've been doing the Insanity routines FIRST, otherwise I feel like it'd be 10x worse having to do it following a Combat workout. I'm a little late with my accountability today but here it is:

L: white roll with a chicken skewer and salad (comms meeting BBQ at work..)
S: banana and almond spread
D: "I can't believe it's not butter chicken" and pappadums - this is a new healthy recipe I'm trying out tonight.

Checking in with Core Cardio and Balance - done! So cool to be back in Insanity, sweating with Shaun T before he went TOTALLY asylum-insane! And I was like, “Ah Tanya! Ariel! Akiel! I hope I can get back into Asylum sometime soon with the same kind of presence.

Catrina - 80% is better than 0% - yes, great perspective, thanks for that. Wow, working out @ 9/10pm? I’m self-employed and we don’t have children so I can choose when I work out and I’m always very impressed by people who fit workouts in around jobs and kids. That's commitment.

Emily - I’m with you on the burnout! Feeling good to have given myself some recovery time so I can get back in properly. I guess if we're doing this kind of working out for the rest of our lives (and I plan to), we can't power on full throttle the whole time. Jenn - Congrats on digging deep on those basketball drills. Killers!

Kelly - So glad you are back to doing what you love. I am wishing I had decided to join you ladies in this round of Inanity. Nice job on Power HIIT1.

Well last night I finally did LMC Power HIIT1 and I love it I use 12.5 weights and it felt awesome I can't believe how well I did with them and I kept form. I also did my 10 Burpees, 50 push-ups hoping to up that number soon and I also did my 25 Squat.

Like I mentioned before I wish I was joining you ladies on this journey of Insanity but I have decided to wait til August to to start my next round of Insanity. As I have mentioned my son is getting married in December so I thought I would do it before the wedding just so I could lose those extra pounds I need before and I can look nice I my Mother of the Groom Dress.
So for now I will be doing a Turbofire/Combat Hybrid with my focus on Turbofire I am sure that I will also throw in some Insanity cause Shaun T will give me that added boost that I will be craving along the way.

Kelly - Thanks for the encouragement! You are killing me with the Shaun T. pics....ummmm, his abs may or may not be the reason that I press play some days! ;)

Emma - I have never tried kale...what did you think? Your daily nutrition always looks great!

Corrina - I am so glad that some of you girls are getting back to Insanity! You all seem to be so far in your journey....it is nice to know that you all get your butt kicked by Insanity emoticon

Diane - Good luck with the turbofire/combat hybrid. I am only half way through insanity and as much as I thought it would be a sixty day commitment....I am addicted and can't wait to try some other programs. Congrats on your son's upcoming wedding...I'm sure you will look fabulous!

I had cardio recovery last night. I try to enjoy the slower pace of the workout, but to be honest, I am ready to kick ass tonight. I love the intensity of insanity.....though I am cautious about the second month. I am so ready to have my butt handed to me. emoticon

Jen - What awesome fit test numbers! Glad your back workin it with Shaun T. Doubles too woohoo! That's so cool you and your daughter got your ears pierced together!

Kelly- You killed it again with your doubles!

Jen/Kelly - I agree with you in the loathing of Max Recovery lol! I officially hate it now! I liked cardio recovery it was a nice change of pace but I was hating Max Recovery last night! Maybe it was just because I was sooo exhausted and didn't want to do it. I don't remember hating it so bad last week but I think I sleep through it at 5:30 in the morning lol!

Emma - I'm glad you found your Kale. I've never had Kale let me know how you like it.

Corrina - I'm so glad you enjoyed CCB I love that one too!

Diane - I love Turbofire! I think I'm going to do some kind of hybrid with Turbofire after I finish Insanity. You are going to look fabulous in your Mother of the Groom dress!

Catrina - I can't wait to see what you think of month 2! I'm in week 2 of month 2. I didn't think the month 2 workouts were any harder just longer. Although both months are extremely hard!

I did Max Recovery last night when I got home from work. I got up this morning (yeah) and did Max Cardio Conditioning. My nutrition was good yesterday and so far today. Got in my water yesterday and well on my way to 128 oz today.

Corrina Thanks for the tip on the kale recipes. I'll look them up today emoticon

I'll be sure to keep all you girls posted on how my first kale recipe/tasting goes tonight emoticon

Yesterday, I was FAMISHED for some reason. I ended up having to eay way more than my normal afternoon snack and I can only attribute it to eating a white roll at lunch instead of wholemeal - it went straight through me! Luckily, dinner was super filling. If you love indian food but hate the extra calories, this is a great dish. Very yummy and will be going on regular rotation I think.

------------------------

Today:

B: clean coconut and banana bread
S: ryvita with vegemite
L: Weight Watchers spinach and ricotta wrap
S: banana and almond spread
D: Kale, white bean and chorizo soup
S: sugar free dark chocolate

Total 1182cals as it stands - I have packed extra ryvita today incase I get the afternoon hungers again emoticon

Workout: HIIT Power and combat 30

I have also made it to day 4 of my 5 day detox - wooooo! I think my body is getting better at this detox thing, it's no where near as bad as it was the first time!

Emma. Glad I made your day with that pic! LOL! He's cray cray! So funny that he "apologizes" in the post for working out in his underwear. It's okay, Shaun - we forgive you! LOL! Anyways, that's awesome you're using kale! I've made kale chips once before and thought they were great! I need to get on that again. Glad your body is adjusting to the detoxing!! Keep it up girlie!

Corrina. Yay! Happy you loved your session with "old friends" from CC&B, such a great workout! I'm sure you'll be back in the Asylum soon enough. Regardless though, Shaun T's got your back - it's a win-win!!

Diane. 12.5lbs on HIIT Power?! Giiiiirl, that's INSANE!! Way to kill it! I can't believe tomorrow is our last day of Combat, where the heck has the time gone?! So crazy. And I'm sure you'll look absolutely stunning in your Mother of the Groom dress!! How exciting!!

Catrina. I know right?! Shame about his abs, seriously needs to do some crunches or something and stop slackin'! Glad you're lookin' to really kill it tonight, I'm sure you will! And that's awesome that you're psyched about Month 2, your butt will be served to you on a silver platter, girlfriend!! LOL! Get exciiiiited!

Susan. Woohoo!! Welcome to the Anti-Max-Recovery club! LOL! I agree, Cardio Recovery was much better, nice change of pace but the Month 2 version not so much! Way to push through it though and then really rock it this morning with MAX Cardio Conditioning. You're doing fabulous, keep it up lady!!

------------------------------------------------------------

Alright ladies, here's my accountability from this morning: "COME ON Y'ALL, LET'S GOOOOOO!!!" I mention it in my blog but I'm SUPER FREAKIN' excited cause today I booked flights for Coach Summit, June 2013 in Vegas! Can't wait!! Between this and Shaun T in town on March 16th, I think Christmas has come early this year! YAY! Here's a clip about Summit, in case you were wondering what the heck it is...

It'll be our second time in Vegas (went for my birthday last June!) so I can't think of a better way to celebrate it this year! Countdown is on, baby!! Woohoooooo!!!!

Ciao for now girls!

I can't possibly even move past the ShaunT Facebook posts.... rEALLY?!!? Stop it! I LOVE it!! Thanks Kelly! It really makes this round the best thing EVER!!!
Today was combat 45.....AWESOME. I really nailed every move. Even on my slightly delayed left side.....emoticon I was just on today. So, i was a little excited/nervous for CPR! (Kelly, I swear I had a private smile slipping this in today thinking, CPR may be next on my list!) I can't lie, my legs were a little tired but, I held strong until the last 2 sets of moving push ups and run it outs. Woohoohoooooo. I feel FABULOUS. I know I'll be able to really smash month one when combat isn't in the picture (although on my less time constrained days I may throw in a few routines to keep me ready for a street brawl......just in case. emoticonemoticon:kidemoticon I'm (extremely) proud to report that ikept time with the power jumps today, boo yeah! There truly isnt a motivator better than the man himself. Such an inspiring (Catrina, especially those abs! YOWZA!) force. Such a fantastic product! Happy to be hitting it back up!

Diane: your awesome! Your a driving force for me as well! I'm sure your going to be smokin hot come that mother of the groom dance. Can't wait tosee that dress! Even though our daily workouts won't be the same doesn't mean that we're not all comparing sweat stains mama! Ahaaaaaaha! Combat's final day is tomorrow! But, I'll meet you here every day after. You rock! Ding Ding!

Kelly: seriously, thanks for keeping me in the ShaunT loop and, can I come to Vegas!?!! Seriously, that looks AWESOME! How pumped are you!??! I'm excessively jealous. (not even going to try to lie.....I would kill to go!) I am loving insanity, yet again. And, I'm smiling cause I love it. (we're truly sick individuals!)

Susan: I told you! I could never get up at 5:30 for that session. It's a cruel torture session! Give me 45 minutes of switch kicks alternated with power jumps anyway of the week! Gah!

Emma: I've used kale in my lentil burgers,it's fabulous in soup and kale chips found their way into my heart last year. Such a great winter green and addition to your already stellar diet. Yay to being almost through another teatox round! Are you starting asylum next week???

Corrina: CCB is my favorite. I'm already looking forward to recovery week! It's so true, it's great to see the old gang! Yesterday during the stretch, shaunT is talking about over stretching your groin and I was shaking my head at JOSH who has his feet to wide...every time! Ahaaaahhaaaa. I love it. It fits like a glove. Even Tania's shenanigans ......

Ok girls, feeling good about myself today but, a little nervous about shock plyo, core attack and insanity plopped on the pile......gulp! Something tells me I'll be singing a different tune tomorrow ......well, live for today, right?
Ok ladies it appears that I better take my rest seriously. I need you to push, I need you to go. DING DING!

My turn to check in. I feel like crap emoticon I've been doing SO good with sticking to my work outs and yesterday and today I missed. I feel fat and bloated and I haven't been eating right. I'm hoping hubby going back to work next week helps put me back on track. I'm even thinking of repeating the 7th & 8th week of my Insanity since I don't feel I properly finished it last week and of course this week I'm just being lazy. It's my last week. I should be pushing through it but I'm not and I feel awful emoticon Wish someone could come kick me

Checking in with a hybrid morning workout of Insanity Cardio Abs and Asylum Relief and then I threw a couple of dance tracks on at the end (I Could Be The One, and Levels - both by Avicii) and did some freeform exercises like high knees, 1-2-3 Heisman, mountain climbers, shuffles, press-ups etc.) What a great combo! I love that I know the exercises that work so well now that I can make up my own routine and stay sweating even with this time off from the proper Asylum programme. Proud emoticon

Diane - 12.5 weights - awesome!

Catrina - Yeah I did Insanity back in September the whole way through - it’s what created the transformation originally and got me hooked on daily morning workouts in my living room! Then went to Combat, then Asylum, now kind of mixing it up with some P90X too till I’m ready to get back fully in the Asylum again.

Oh - and I actually preferred month 2 of Insanity so you can look forward to that emoticon

Munchii - one of my very favourite simple kale recipes is where you just massage the kale in some olive oil, sea salt and avocado for a good few minutes - properly squeeze it through in your fingers - it softens up loads when you’ve massaged it long enough - and then add some cherry tomatoes and you’re done. Yum! That’ll keep the hunger at bay emoticon

Canine - LOVE that street brawl move! Omg HOW exciting re: your success story?! Keep us posted. Huge congrats for being considered!! Amazing.

Mel - Focus on that you WERE doing great so you’ll do well again. A two day blip is nothing in your whole future life of fitness. So give yourself some love and compassion and get back in there emoticon

Peace out,
Corrina

Jenn - That is SO SO awesome!! Congrats girl!!

Jenn Oh my freakin' gosh! THAT. IS. AWESOME. Congrats girl!!!! I really hope you do become a testimonial - your body is BANGIN' and you have worked so damn hard, you really deserve it!

Corinna That little kale salad you described sounds DELISH! I might have to make some variation of that for a lunch sometime emoticon

Mel Sucks that you're not feeling it at the moment.. Sometimes you just have to listen to your body, take that break and get back on the horse when you're ready. We've all had those days (I have too lately), but you just have to take it easy and get back into it when you're feeling ready. Insanity doesn't HAVE to be completed in 64 days - it's more about adapting your lifestyle for good, not just sticking to a schedule.

-------------------------------------------

So my kale, chorizo and white bean soup last night was DELISH! Loving Kale! It's so filling and has a great taste. I really hope my local grocer keeps stocking it - I really want it as a regular part of my diet now emoticon. The health benefits are just incredible! More protein than red meat - more calcium than milk - packed with vitamins - FILL ME UP! I am planning to use my left over kale in a smoothie on saturday morning for breakfast - banana, kale, cocnut milk and almond milk mmmmmmmmmm emoticon.

Today:

B: clean banana and coconut bread
S: ryvita with vegemite
L: weight watchers spinach and ricotta wrap
S: banana and almond spread
D: lamb cutlets with mushy mint ricotta peas, steamed brocolini and roast potato

Total 1276 cals

Workout: swapping combat 45 for combat 60 - feel like I havent done that workout in FOREVER!

So today is my second last day of combat. So close to the end now. Final weigh in, measurements and pics tomorrow morning just before my final workout. I'll share my combat results/transformation with you guys on monday emoticon

Today's my last day of my 5 day detox as well. I have faired much better this time around and I'm feeling pretty good. Starting to feel quite "dried out" though even though I am drinking boatloads of water. Hopefully I start to feel more refreshed tomorrow!

Hi ladies.

Sorry I've been absent but I'm back (again). I've been working out and posting on FB but my train time ha been limited and that's when I usually check the board. But, I'm back if you'll have me.

I haven't caught up on everything I've missed but here goes:

Emily: so sorry you missed Shaun T. I'm sure you're disappointed but he seems to be adding lots of dates for things so hopefully he will be somewhere closer soon. Congrats on killing Asylum 2. Definitely get the rest you need before tackling the 84 day hybrid Kelly is posting. It looks pretty crazy (that had been our plan until the birthday challenge came up)

Jenn: good luck. You already are a success story but that's so awesome that BB thinks so too. So glad you are in on the birthday challenge.

Emma: you look awesome, you skinny blonde. 5 to go, you've totally got this!

Diane: you will be the hottest mother of the groom. As I said on FB, 12.5s with good form no less is amazing!!!

Kelly: thanks for suggesting the bday challenge. Your site is awesome btw!!!

My accountability for today: combat day 60 (shock plyo) and insanity Day 4 cardio recovery. I can finally say I killed shock plyo. Felt great. But the burn in my legs was extra good for the squats and lunges in cardio recovery after that, lol! I am so pumped for the bday challenge. Shaun t is just amazing. I live it. I'm going to keep combat in my mix until next Saturday since I took two weeks off in the middle. I need to earn that tee!

Anyway I'm glad to be back on here. You are all so inspiring and I've been missing that.

Have a great night!

Oh my goodness girls, I know! I'm a hair flattered to say the least. I spoke with the woman today about what documents and files to send along. AGAIN, I'm just being considered but, even if it goes nowhere its certainly nice to be recognized....I'll take it!

Today was my final combat workouts! How darn fast did that go by?!? Wow! So, it was Shock plyo and core attack. Those lunges are ridiculous! And, today I decided that I like Dans approach to motivation/instructives a bit more than Rach's..... Just an opinion. I pushed hard knowing that this was it! Core attack was awesome. I think this will always make its way into my rotation.
And onto Insanity! Today was cardio recovery.......need I say more?! Ahaaaaaha. I must admit that I have come along way. It's still in my least favorites but I will try to enjoy before max comes into the rotation. Ok seriously, that's as positive as I can get......emoticon

Emma: I'm sure you'll be at your goal in a blink of an eye! Another teatox and a round of combat!?!!? What?!

Ok ladies, thanks for all of your kind words/ encouragement! Your all too AWESOME. I'm grateful to have your support, encouragement and knowledge that your pushing along side (well, all over the world!) me. We've got this girls! Today was Les Mill Combat day 60 it was Shock Plyo HIIT2 OMG! those lunges were murder and I can feel it in my legs...OUCH!! is all I can say.Did 15 Burpees,35 Squats and 55 Push-ups after all that my arms were like J-E-L-L-O...But definitely starting to see definition and a change in my arms YAY!emoticon

It was GREAT working along side of you Kelly, lilnit, Jenn, munchii and anyone else who just finished LMC.I feel like we graduated and now we are heading in different directions like we did after High School. This is an AWESOME group of ladies we encourage each other and with out that we would not be where we are now.So lets dig deeper and stay with the fight as we go on our next journey/

I am taking the next few days of and making up my 2 Workouts that I missed and the next week I will doing HIP HOP ABS and may incorporate something with them. On the 18th Turbofire and LMC again.

Munchii - Your smoothie sounds great! Loving this kale fan club! I have a sticker on my wall which says Only Kale Can Save Us Now from herbivoreclothing.com - got it when we travelled all the way to Portland (from England) for the vegan eateries - now that's commitment emoticon

Our new dumbbells arrived yesterday - VERY exciting. 4kg which equates to 8.8 lbs. And it inspired me to get back into the Asylum and do Strength - which was awesome. I'd say the weights aren't quite heavy enough so will order the 5kg which equates to 11 lbs.

Much better mental attitude after a few days of taking my foot off the accelerator. When Shaun T said "You can do this!" I replied "Yes I can!" whereas before I'd been getting into a right old slump of saying, "No I can't. Shut up!" So, with more positive focus, it's enjoyable once again - fantastic.

My body is feeling great. Went clothes shopping yesterday and it's always a pleasure now which is a massive change. I spent my whole life hating clothes shopping and now I look forward to it.

You guys are awesome at keeping the motivation going. I likely would have fallen way off the wagon without this encouragement. THANKS!

Good morning ladies.

Corrina: so exciting to have fun shopping, woohoo. Are you vegan? I am (almost -- I eat eggs but no other animal products/derivatives). I would love to make a trip to Oregon, I live outside NYC but even here, vegan options are limited. I love hearing about kale stories too, woohoo -- go Kale! lol!

Diane: Congrats on kicking Combat's tush to the curb! I can't wait to hear about your fun with Hip Hop Abs and your newest hybrid. You are one hot Grandma! emoticon

Jen: I agree, I'm a big Dan fan. Good luck again, you're awesome!!! Can't wait to see your pics!

My accountability for today: Insanity Day 5 (Pure Cardio) and Combat Upper Body Blow Out. Yikes, Upper Body Blow Out is so hard but I LOVE it! Dan is just awesome, love the music, etc. I had fun with Shaun T this morning too. Pure Cardio is not easy, that's for sure. what can I say, THIS SH*T IS BANANA'S YO! I can definitely see improvement -- I never used to jump up on suicides during round 1 and now I am, and my flexibility is definitely improved.

Snow day here today - we have about a foot of snow and counting -- so it should be a fun day. Have a great one ladies!

Good morning (almost afternoon) ladies! Hope you are all doing well. I was actually off from work today and decided that I am going to start doing two workouts a day. My insanity and the gym (which I was doing before I started). I am just starting my 3rd week of insanity and today was my 1st day back at the gym. I flew threw 45 minutes on the arc trainer without breaking a sweat. It was unreal. Then I came home and today I redid my fit test and was a puddle of sweat in the first 5 minutes. Love this workout. emoticongrin:
My only problem that I am having is some foot pain, I am not sure if I need some new shoes or what. Does anyone else have this? I have been using my running shoes and maybe I need something else. It only hurts when I'm doing the workouts, no lingering pain after so I don't have a true injury. I'm going to make comments for people, but I may have names wrong.....so forgive me!!
Mel - keep your head up and get back in your routine. Each day's a new day. We all have times when we fall off.
Corrina - you do such a great job encouraging everyone, it's awesome to read all your posts
Munchii - I am excited to try kale - I wanted to make the kale chips, but my husband is freaking out about it. He says chips come in a bag. Is there a website or somewhere that has good recipes?
Jenn - Congratulations on being considered for a success story! That's amazing, it must feel good to be recognized for all your hard work.

This is such a great group of women! Have a great day and weekend! I probably won't be posting much, it's playoffs for my son's hockey team. We'll be at the arena.

Jenn. Glad you’re loving the Shaun T FB posts, I’ll make sure I keep posting them!! Glad you absolutely demolished the past few days of workouts – and CONGRATS on crushing those Power Jumps in CPR, that’s awesome! As for Vegas, you should TOTALLY come! LOL! We can chat…… and yes, here’s to being sick individuals! I love it! And HOLY FREAKIN’ SMOKES girl! Congrats on your BB testimonial. I 100% agree with Ruth, you already ARE a Success Story and it’s fabulous that Beachbody is realizing it too! PS: Thanks again for your e-mail this morning – really appreciated it!

Mel. Don’t be so hard on yourself… we all have our not-so-great days. I’m sure you’ll get back into a groove soon enough and finishing Insanity strong! YOU GOT THIS, girlfriend!! Shaun T is watching youuuuu!! LOL!

Corrina. Glad you’re feeling better and got those heavier dumbbells to really rock it hard with Strength, wooohooo!!

Diane. Agreed, Combat 45 is my favorite workout as well, love that you killed it and have been whippin’ out those burpees, squats, and push-ups as well!! Anyways, congrats on finishing Combat girlfriend!! Excited for your next journey with TurboFire and Combat, I’m sure you’ll do fabulously and have great results!!

Emma. Glad to hear you’re absolutely loving Kale!! I need to eat more of it as well, will defs pick some up this weekend, thanks for the reminder! What was your recipe for the soup? I just might whip it up in that, if you think it’s delish!?

Ruth. Woohoo!!! So happy we decided to do the ShaunTourage Bday Challenge, I’ve been LOVING this week! And that’s great that you’re thinking about keeping up with some of the Combat workouts, to polish off some of the ones you missed from your time off. I’ll have to re-look at our schedule for the next few months and figure out where some Asylum/Asylum 2 routines will fit in nicely!

Susan. Can’t believe you only have 2 weeks left!! Crazyyy!! Have you given any thought to what you want to do post-Insanity yet? And your food looks yummy, way to keep stockin’ your fridge and pantry with the good stuff!!

Shannon. Woohoo! 2 a days?! Kudos to you, just make sure you listen to your body if you start feeling burnt out or whatnot. Insanity on it’s own is plenty, that’s for sure! As for your foot pain – it could very well be your running shoes. I highly recommend using cross-trainers for Insanity. Back when I first started, I was using Nike runners as well and found I was getting ankle/shin pain… so I switched up and got the Nike Free TR Fit Cross Trainers and loved them. I’m now using the Nike Lunar Hyperworkout XT Cross Trainers and they’re great as well. Keep us posted on how you’re doing girlie!!!

---------------------------------------------------

Oh man, okay so I apologize for not getting on here yesterday ladies… I passed out last night at 8:00pm! It’s been a whirlwind of a week at work and I’ve been struggling a little trying to balance everything. I managed to push plya with Cardio Recovery and HIIT Shock Plyo yesterday and felt GREAT! Combat = finito!! Woohooo!! While I really enjoyed it, I’m SUPER excited to be able to fully devote myself to Shaun T from here on out!! Also crushed Pure Cardio this morning and felt awesome – made it through everything, though I took a few breaks towards the end during Push-Ups Jacks (lifted my butt in the air lol! Shaun T would be going *tisk tisk* at me!) Anyways, it certainly feels amazing to be back in it with Insanity consistently. It will ALWAYS hold a very special place in my heart!!

Okay, here are Shaun T’s FB pic/video updates from yesterday! Will post today's later on tonight! PS: The guy in the pic is his hubby, Scott Blokker!! Scott is also a cast member in Asylum Volume 2, pretty cool eh?!

Ciao for now girls!
