Hi~

i have had a crappy couple of weeks where working out has been on the back burner, not even on the stove, actually. i havent even been on the website. i have done a couple workouts but nothing with the intensity and committment i was doing before. howtobefit(im sorry i dont actually know your name!) i got on the website tonight, went right to this board and started reading. i forgot what a movtivational person you were. reading what you write about exercise and nutrition, taking care of yourself--you truly are an inspiration to me and i am sure you are to others. you make me want to workout to better myself..to make me first for once! you speak from the heart and i just wanted to tell you, your posts do not go un noticed and they help me when i am feeling sorry for myself or if i use the excuse, "i dont have time, i will exercise tomorrow".

i just wanted to say thank you to a person i have never met but someone that has helped me a great deal! i have recommitted myself tonight... thanks to all the great 'board members' for great posts and great inspiration!

Way to go, Angie, for recommitting yourself! I understand how difficult it can be, I promise! Keep pushing play and know that you making yourself a healthier and happier person when you exercise and eat well.

Hey Angie!

Good for you for the recommitting yourself! We all have experienced roadblocks in our fitness. Welcome back!

Something I would like to suggest to you is when you can't find the time, tell yourself, "I am going to workout for 10 minutes". Most people can fit 10 minutes into even their most hectic schedule. Even if it means kids and dogs screaming and barking in the background (yes, that has happened here!). Quite often people find (and probably you will too), not only have they done 10 minutes...they do more.

Keep at it girl. I hope this helps. And most of all, keep setting goals (even if it is making yourself do 10 minutes when I strapped for time) and breaking em. Email me whenever you need support or just want to chat.

Wow, Angie, what a wonderful post. I just happened to see yours as I was scrolling through other posts. My name is Richard Dafter and I guess you have learned about me from my Team Beachbody profile at www.teambeachbody.com/howtobefit.

I have been blessed with a lot of challenges which gave me the opportunity to share with everyone how I overcame them. I have also been blessed with my association with Beachbody which has connected me with an enormous community of people all working together to become healthier and more fit.
