LADIES AND GENTLEMEN.....BOYS AND GIRLS OF ALL AGES(AND SIZES) WELCOME .

Hello, I am Bull and ready to take on INSANITY

As Albert says below Insanity is doing the same thing but expecting different results. I don't expect different results, I expect the same results by doing exactly what INSANITY say.

I am a P90X graduate in Apr 09.

I completed a Hybrid type 90 days of P90X, XPLUS and One on Ones. I maintained my body during this 90 days. But I had a "distractions" and really did not BRING IT like I wanted to.

1) Which Beachbody program are you using??? INSANITY

2) POST your PICTURES: I will post pics throughout the program


3) What do you hope to accomplish this 90 days, be realistic? I want to drop to 175lb and single digit body fat.


4) PICTURES AND MORE PICTURES

5) No Negative self talk.

6) JOIN WOWY!!!! I am a member and will be in WOWY as much as possible

7) Tweak your nutrition!
I promise to watch my diet and tweak as necessary.

8) Keep up the attitude!

INSANITY workout sheet

I had my first day yesterday with Cardio Power and Resistance.

I had the preview Ply cd for a while. Doing that exercise I was able to burn just over 600 calories.

I was so excited yesterday when I got home and Insanity was waiting for me that I forgot to put on my heart rate monitor.



Anywho, come on come all and take the ride on INSANITY>

I know you'll be a great motivator for all the folks starting Insanity, as you are quite Insane!!!! (But in a good way!!). Folks, as the great Paul McCartney once said, "Listen to what the Man says!!!" He's an X grad and bringin' an X attitude to his latest goal - the defeat and destruction of Insanity!!!! You can trust him to help you along the path to greatness!

cardio recovry

just finished cardio recovery

a nice blend of some stretch, some yoga, and some lower impact intensity moves and some squats moves that BUUUUURN the legs. All in all a good recovery workout.

I look forward to tomorrow's workout.

it is a go go go workout.

huffing and puffing.

Reminds me of doing Plyo for the first time in P90X in the fact "i don't know if I will ever make it through this workout"

But have no doubts that by the end of the cycle I will make it through

So, this is the new Insanity Thread! I like it.

I'll finish my second round of P90X with recovery week next week and I'm planning on trying that Insanity CD you gave me. We'll see how I do with it. I've seen the infomercial and I gotta say it's pretty intimidating. I'll try it and see.

Say, since you've done both the X and now Insanity, What do you think about subbing the Insanity workout I have for Plyo on the X?

Sorry been MIA lately.

Was gone on a business trip for a week then my boss was gone for my week I got back. A lot of late hours.

Anyway

I restarted my INSANITY on 27 July. I will have all my stats/pics up soon.

This is just a quick drive by since I am out of town with family.

The more the merrier.

After a couple of weeks doing this(after the initial shock) you kind of get into a rythm. I like the fact that it is just you and you only.

I think that subbing that would be great. It breaks it up a little. plus it's shorter. Obvioulsy will burn more with PLYO only because you are doing it longer. I burn about the same per minute for each. around 900 for plyo and 600 for Plyo Cardio Circuit.

Weight ............186
waist ..............34 inch
body fat...........16%

I tried to gain some muscle during my hybrid round after the X round. Tried to eat more calories but also gained in the BF category.

I will just focus on INSANITY and burning the fat.

Fit Test

Switch Kicks .....................100(50 each leg)
Power jacks .......................57
Power Knees ......................103
Power jumps ......................30
Globe jumps .......................10
Suicide jumps ......................15
Pushup Jacks ......................20
Low plank oblique ..............25

Goal for INSANITY is to lose around 7-8lbs and attempt to hit 10%BF

Core Power and Resistance Done

Just completed Core Power and Resistance

Second week isn't any easier.

Outside of just running out breath, the only other thing that bothers me is that the soles of my feet KILL me at times. Like little needles jabbing me. I have suffered from plantar faciitis before. Up on your toes all the time is rough. But a few second break and I am ready to go again.

All out PURE CARDIO tomorrow.

Power Knees: 93 (I felt funny only doing one side - or did I do this wrong?)
Power Jumps: 36 - CRAZY things!
Globe Jumps: 9
Suicide Jumps: 13
Push Up Jacks: 20 (4 from my knees)
Low Plank Obliques: 32


Measurements:
weight: 115
body fat: 22.8%
chest: 33
waist 28.25
hips: 35.25
thighs: 20.5 (r) 20 (l)
calves: 13 (r & l)
biceps: 10.75 (r) 11 (l)

I did plyo cardio circuit today and it felt like the first time. My arches were hurting. *shrug* I just got new shoes too. I had plantar fasciitis before too and I found that getting a good pair of running shoes helped absorb the shock of my workouts and the condition disappeared. We'll see how my feet do with Insanity and my new running shoes. ~JoAnn

Pure Cardio done. had to take a couple of breaks throughout (since they don't put any in there!!!!)

This one is a nonstop. My arches weren't that bad tonight. Maybe I am just getting used to it. Thought about doing the Ab workout, but ended up skipping it.

Had to put a fan in my garage. It was just too sweltering in there.

Until tomorrow have a great night

I live in Hawaii! It's a great place to live. Of course I'm very biased. emoticon

You made it through your workout with your feet in good condition! Great news. My feet are a little achy tonight but I'll see how things are in the morning. I'm sure they'll warm up and be fine.

Here's my day 1 picture. I'm hoping to bring my body fat down 2-4% while maintaining my weight.
