Les Mills Pump/Combat Hybrid vs. T25
Les Mills Pump/Combat Hybrid vs. T25
hybrid post partum t25

Hi I have been debating with myself on which program I should choose. I tried Les Mills combat alone for a few weeks and did not like doing just that. I am wanting to know people's opinions on doing a Les Mills Pump/Combat Hybrid or T25. I am three months post partum and looking to loose those last 20 pounds, tone up, and look great! Any opinion is strongly wanted!! I can't wait to get to work.

Hi Rylee!

So I've done all three (or well, I'm mid-week 4 in T25) and I think some of it depends on your exact fitness goals and your availability. I loved pump and I think strength training is a fantastic way to get your body back in shape and tone you up, coupled with the cardio of combat I thin you could get some great total body results quick. However, T25 is wonderful so far and definitely does some muscle-work (without as much dependence on weights, more bodyweight-oriented). So I would consider how you feel about using a barbell/weights vs just your bodyweight. Also, Pump and Combat both work your abs and core really directly (like crunches), so I'm not sure how you feel about that so soon after having a baby. T25 focuses you on core strength as well, but without as much ab-specific movement.

However, one thing to consider if most Pump and Combat workouts are in the 45-50 minute range, while T25 is all just 25 minutes. Having a baby, you might find that extra 20-25 minutes each day very valuable.

Let me know if you have any more questions or anything about any of the programs. Hopefully this information can at least give you some assistance in making your decision!

Good luck emoticon

Thank you both for your help and advice! I decided to go with the Pump/Combat hybrid. Pump is on its way and I am so thrilled to start! I'm not too worried about the workouts, the eating and nutrition is where I lack!

Rylee,

How were your results with the Pump/Combat hybrid? I just finished Combat and Pump just arrived in the mail the other day. I was considering doing the hybrid workout and was wondering how well it worked for you.

Thanks in advance!
Lynn
