Ive been drinking the strawberry flavored shake for about 10 days now and I am starving after two hours. I have tried adding almond milk, low fat yogurt and a tbp of peanut butter with various recepies. I decided to try shakology to cut down on my daily calorie intake but its not working so well. So far my shake has felt like a snack instead of a meal replacement. Looking for suggestions to make my shake filling.

Shakeology has like 160 carbs, so by itself is not fulfilling as Meal replacement, if you see the Meal plans, it's most used as snack. If you want to replace it for breakfast (as I do) the shakeology/milk/yogurt/peanut butter should work (about 300 calories). Try adding fruit to it, strawberries, etc to make it more dense. I have it every day like that and 3 hours later will have a protein bar. You can have something extra like eggs whites with turkey if you are still hungry.

I agree with Alberto but would also add that it shouldn't keep you full more than 2-3 hours. Ideally you will eat every 2-3 hours to keep your metabolism burning all day and to keep from over eating at your 3 main meals. Have your shake for breakfast and then have a protein bar or a serving of almonds or other healthy snack 2-3 hours later.

Also check out PB2 instead of adding regular peanut butter and consider adding a scoop of protein powder to help feel full longer.

Why dont you try adding more ice or using frozen fruit? When you add more ice or use frozen fruit, the shake becomes thick so you will trick yourself into thinking it is very loaded and help keep you full. When I make the recipes that use water instead of milk I always add lots of ice to make it thick like a milkshake.

What I do is I add 1/2 a banana and 1/4 avocado and ice to my vanilla Shakeo. Fat contributes to satiety and should keep you fuller longer. It is a healthy fat and you don't taste it at all. Just ups the smoothness and thickness of the shake!

I completely agree with all the suggestions here! It doesn't fill me up for the entire morning either but I eat every 2-3 hours anyways. Small little meals. So I would take my shake then as soon as my tummy rumbles I have a small meal, then in about 2-3 hours it rumbles again lol. I try to have at least 4-5 small meals a day. You can replace one of them with shakeology. My mom loves it because she craves sweets at work if she doesn't take it and I prefer to take my shakeology after dinner as dessert...I even freeze it so it feels like I'm eating ice cream emoticon I crave sweets and carbs at night and this has been helping! Good luck and keep drinking the shakeology! You're getting so much out of it but don't starve yourself either waiting for the next meal;)

I have a question about shakeology. I ordered a one time only bag to try before I get a coach to get a regular supply each month.
I read the serving size and its 48g the scoop that came in the bag is 80g so I have only used half of the scoop ... Am I doing it wrong? Or am I supposed to use the full scoop provided in the bag? So I am also hungry in a couple hours after drinking the shake. But am not sure if the amount of shake I'm using has anything to do with hunger. Thank you I. Advance for answering my question.

It depends on which one time bag you got. When I first got Shakeology I had a week supply and the serving was 2 scoops instead of 1. I was really confused so I just used 1 scoop. You can't really do Shakeology wrong. It's good if you're "eating" it in general! It's normal to be hungry in a couple hours, the human body really needs any food about 2-3 hours apart to keep our metabolism moving.
