Hi, Dolores. Nice to meet you too. I saw your post on our Working Moms thread. I have been doing TMT since April and have lost 14-1/2 inches overall. Very happy wth the program. I would love to participate in this, but I never took a before picture when I started the program. Just wondering what all you need.

Missy, TMT lover!

Hi Dolores,
My name is Jineen. I saw your post on the Working Moms thread also, but I am not a working mom! I do not think I am a candidate for an infomercial at this point, but think I do have something to contribute!

I do work (maintenance for our apartment building), but I'm not a mom. I am 57. I have not had SPECTACULAR results with TMT (*YET!*), but it's not TMT's fault. When I started out, I ate clean and pushed play every day. Started out doing Cardio only and could only do about half of Janie's reps and much more slowly! But I kept at it. After a week I added Total Body, again, falling short (those darn pushups) (even from the knee!). Then I started switching off between Total Body and Yoga Flex in addition to Cardio. I think there were only a couple of times I did 3 w/o's in a day. But, in 30 days I lost 10 lbs., 60 days a total of 15. Inches have been slower to lose for me - it's in the neighborhood of 6 so far. I have hovered between 15-17 lbs total since then, but my eating has not been as clean and my w/o's have slowed (3-4-5 per week) due to work and medical issues (not TMT related). (The point being that TMT is great, but *I* haven't been!) My total goal is to lose 60 lbs by 7/1/10, so I am a distance away from that. Maybe I'd be a candidate closer to that date!

HOWEVER! My energy level has increased dramatically. I take care of a 4-story apartment building, so I do a lot of walking up and down stairs, except before TMT, I took the elevator because I got too winded going up even 1 flight. After TMT, not only am I able to take the stairs but I am able to do it briskly and still carry on a conversation!

The other comment I would like to share is that I have been menopausal for 4 years and have struggled with hot flashes and nights sweats all those years and even before. I tried all the herbal remedies and everything else I could do short of hormone replacement therapy (which I did NOT want to do). But it got to be so uncomfortable and I was losing so much sleep, that I decided I would call the doctor for some HRT. I also had not had a physical exam for 3 years and knew I needed to make that appt. (Bear with me here!)

I knew I was way out of shape and wanted to drop 10 lbs before I saw the dr so I wouldn't get scolded! But that seemed impossible. The day before I was going to make the appt, I saw a TMT infomercial. I bought it, did it, and about day 30, I did lose those 10 lbs. But the unexpected side effect of my w/o's was that my hot flashes and night sweats diminished noticeably. To the point where I am comfortable enough that I don't need medication. At first I wasn't sure it was because of TMT. But as I mentioned above, my w/o's have been not so consistent, and my hot flashes have increased. I can't believe that could be just coincidence!

Sorry this got to be so lengthy. If any of it seems usable, that's great. If not, and if you're going to do another infomercial in 7 or 8 months, I may look you up again! emoticon I actually enjoy TMT and look forward to the w/o's - and that is something I've never said about ANY exercise program in my life before!

P.S. I would also like to comment on the message boards. I've only had experience with the "Working Moms" thread, but the ladies there are a fantastic group. We keep each other motivated, encouraged, and supported. We laugh together and have shared some sad moments together. We share our milestone results (and cheer each other on), and we share our struggles (and cheer each other on). We are from all walks of life, varying ages, varying family situations, and we are from all over the USA. We feel like family and want to meet sometime! I am not usually a "mixer" but these gals made me feel welcome and right at home immediately. I'm in this for the long haul, and I know they have my back no matter what!

You know, I should add that I know other exercise programs could get me similar results, but the reason TMT did it for me is that I was able to commit to 10 minutes. Other programs required more time that I didn't have and didn't want to commit to. On the infomercial, the moves looked like something I could do. I was so out of shape, I needed to start with a program that I could handle.

I loved it as soon as I tried it. Even though the moves were harder for me than I thought, I was able to do SOMETHING. And the more I did it, the better I got. I remember the day when I actually kept up with Janie doing Cardio!! I was ecstatic! That's when I added the band on the door hinge.

That's the other thing I love about TMT: You can make it as challenging as you want. You can start out not using the bands, and do the moves but slowly. You can increase the reps as you progress. Add the band. Increase the band's resistance (different colors are different resistance levels). Add another w/o. Add 2 w/o's. Do all 5. Do 1 in the morning, 1 at lunch, 1 at night. It's so flexible! It fits any schedule, and any fitness level.

Oh, and Tony is fun to watch. He's so easy-going, but he pushes you to work. And you love it! How does that happen? (Pretty sneaky!)

Okay, I think I'm finished! emoticon

Hi Dolores,

I am not a success story yet, but believe I am on my way. I am on Day 30 and have lost 9 lbs and 15 inches. I am committed to TMT and it has been amazing so far. Yes, I work hard with these workouts but time flies by and in no time you are done. I have always had trouble working out because I could not commit to so much time for the workouts. Raising 3 daughters and working full time takes up all of my time. I was never any good about "me" time and have never stuck with a workout for more than 2 weeks. Something is different this time. Like Jineen said, I love the workouts and I am pushing play 6 days a week. That is just not me or should I say has never been me but it sure is now. I cannot believe how much motivation I have and it is due to a great, enjoyable program and results that you can see right away. I was very out of shape and was afraid of doing too much too soon so I started out very slowly and still got results. Four weeks later I run up the stairs at work, when I could barely climb them. I cannot believe the change in my fitness already. It is like a drug because I can only believe it will continue to get better.

Jineen talked about the working moms thread and how supportive they are. Well, let me tell you, these women are phenomenal. I only found them 2 weeks ago and felt like part of family immmediately. They are a positive, motivating and inspirational group of women. I can't help but keep going. I have been battling weight gain for 20 years and have never had this type of motivation, never enjoyed working out and never had results like these. I will check in with you at 60 days and see where I stand. I may not be what you are looking for but I hope what I have said explains how all the people I've met here feel about TMT.

Thanks for listening. Please make sure the right people know what a great product they have here with TMT and thank them for me.

Regards,
Lorraine

I ordered TMT last night. I am a working mom with a 12 year old daughter and two teenage step sons. My daughter plays competitive Soft Ball as well as school sports to include Volleyball, Basketball and Track. The boys both play football, basketball, track and baseball. I travel for work overnight about 60-70% of the time. With all of my travel and trying to keep up with the kids, I struggle to stick to a work out regimine.

Last year I had finally found a workout partner and a schedule I could work with. I started walking 3-5 days a week, in the early morning before work (and before I started travelling so much) and I felt great! I really started noticing a difference in my energy levels, my health and my body.

In November, out of the blue, my daughter had a Grand Mal Seizure, which completely changed our lives. Come to find out she had been suffering from absence seizures for about 6 months. After many tests and suffering from another Grand Mal Seizure, she was diagnosed with epilepsy. This completely changed our lives.

We went from having semi-independent children to now having a child that we could never leave alone. After my daughter had her seizure, I stopped walking and put a lot of emphasis on her disease. I could not leave her alone now to walk in the morning, as my husband leaves for work a little after 5 AM. With my travel schedule and the significant time the kids athletic activities take up in our life, I have very limited time to fit in exercise. Occasionally I catch some time for a walk or hit the treadmill at the hotel when I am out of town, however, sticking to a routine has been extremely difficult.

I saw a TMT informercial lying in bed the other night and I thought to myself..."Why can't I do that? I can take the on-the go workout cards with me when I travel and I can do the 10 minute video at home so I don't have to leave my daughter alone, all, without the huge time commitment taking me away from other activities. And when I have extra time, I can add on additional routines."

So, here I am, I've ordered it and I am really looking forward to starting a new program that fits my life. I don't have my before pictures yet, but I will take them before I get my DVD's in the mail. I currently weigh 160 lbs and am 5'7". My goal is to lose 20 lbs. I look forward to using the 10 minute meals as well, as we are always eating on the go. I hope that this guide gives me the tools I need to reach my 20lb goal!

Here I go!

Hello Delores,

I just received my 10 minute Trainer products today. I'm excited to get started. I have a friend coming over this afternoon - I'm going to have her take photos and do measurements for me.

I have a couple of questions. I would like to do the Lean Jean Plan - I'm going to the grocery store today to buy my foods. I don't eat wheat - so I plan to substitute the whole grain and wheat breads with gluten free products. I also try not to eat much dairy - so I won't be doing the low fat cheeses. Im wondering if anyone has done adjustments for restricted diets?? I could be your test case!

Also - I'm a bit techie compromised - I'm trying to navigate the web site. It appears to me I was assigned a coach. However, he is a 39 y.o. male. Nothing personal - I would prefer a woman a little closer to my age who has been successful with this program. Can I get a new coach? How do I do that?

I'm not even sure this was the appropriate place or if you are the appropriate person to ask these questions. Please advise.

In any case I am excited about starting the program. Thanks, deb4peace

Hi Dolores,
I'm not to my goal yet, but I started TMT and am going into my 3rd week and love what I am seeing and feeling so far. I got TMT to "get back" into shape inside and out. When I first started, I wasn't committed, but then 3 weeks ago, I said enough..Now my 3 yr old warms up with me and tells me to "go workout daddy". At this point I have lost 6 pounds, 3 inches in the waist and I feel great. I am even starting to see some of my long lost friends again (muscle definition). Last week I also started shakeology which is working the inside...I am now at 3 TMT per day.

I will keep you posted. TMT works wonders and I can't wait to see what comes next. It isn't a miracle, but in 10 minutes you can do amazing things...even moreso when you want to find 30 minutes to fully bring it!

Hi, my name is Melissa. I don't know if you have already finished this, but I thought it was worth a shot. I bought the 10 minute trainer workout and Started pp on May 9. In July my daughter had surgery and I didn't pp for a while from being too tired or working all the time. I am breastfeeding so I can't take any of the drinks or pills. I have now lost a total of 20 1/2 inches and 7 pounds. That is only bringint it 20 minutues a day when I restarted back on Oct 6. I love this program and can't wait to lose more inches and pounds each week.
God bless,
Melissa

I just joined and I am waiting for my TMT to arrive in the mail this week. I already have P90x and i am making another attempt to get back into this again. A large move, job change and some other disruptions set me back, but not for long... I'll be on my way and I'm excited. Hopefully can be in this spot one day. Keep up the good work! lisa

Hi Delores and thase who have responded here.I couldn't help but respond to these great e-mails. I was the April $1000 winner for TMT and can testify what a fantastic product it is. SnowBear: I, too, am 57 (58 next month!) and not only did the TMT profram relieve me of menapause symtoms it's relieved me from the nasty migraines I used to have. Who says us more mature woman can't change our lives around.
HappyLisa:I suggest following the Getting Started schedule that comes with the package. It will help strech you out for your runs.

Good luck to all on getting in the best shape of your life! Just remember to push play and eat clean! feel free to contact me for any suggestions or just chat. It's hard for me to use the message boards since I'm in the country with a snail computer.

I received and immediately started TMT in November (I know, odd to start just as the holidays kicked in!). I'd been doing other exercise options but had hit a plateau and needed somthing different and quick enough to fit in my routine while still being effective.

I did atleast 20 minutes a day and sometimes the full suggested 30 minutes when my time allowed.

Unfortunately, I had to stop all activities due to back pain unrelated to working out and only managed to do TMT for 3 weeks.

That being said, I still managed to lose 8 and 1/2 inches overall in that 3 week time period!!

Hi Delores,

This is Day 2 using TMT and all I can say is that I am severely out of shape.

Tried doing the Total Body workout this morning at six a.m. and I ran outta gas eight minutes in the program.

But I'm determined...that as I progress, when I'm able to do 30 minute workouts of TMT daily and still have energy, I'll begin P90X, which for now is just sitting on the shelf in my office at work.

Purchased the required equipment bar, weights, bands and I even stocked up on Whey Powder and Glutamine. Plus, every evening I take a handful of good quality multivitamins, and supplements.

I've even started portioning my food with a digital scale. I'm consuming between 1200 - 1500 calories a day but I'm not sure if I'm following the nutritional program properly.

When I get down to 1000 calories I think I'll be able to shed a lot of excess weight.

and then I'll start to look sexy emoticon

Axilleas, congratulations on taking the first step. My wife had a breathtaking transformation using the TMT. Like you she could barely get through the first 10 minutes when she started. Long story short, she stuck to it and now we are doing P90X together. Keep pushing play! Be careful on your clean eating. You don't want to go below 1200 calories, you don't want your body thinking you are trying to starve it.
Best of luck with your program.

emoticon I am back! I have not given up yet!emoticon I just bought Tony's 10 minutes workout program and started on Day 1 today. My goal is to stay with this for at least 30 days, doing at the minimum of 10 minutes a day and if I can, do an additional 10 minutes program or more. I feel that if I can just get into a habit of committing to this, that I can move on to P90 or P90X. Like Tony said, there is no excuse now with just 10 minutes a day commitment.

Took my measurements and pictures today. Will post them later on this week. Today I did 4 of the 10 minutes workouts, Cardio, Total workout, Abs and Lower Body. It was really hard and I was not able to do alot of them but I tried!! Felt really good afterward. I will focus on Tony's food menu this week.

I really feel that this program will help me get back on track!

Have an awesome week, y'all. emoticon
