Hello, I'm Jenny! This is Round 2 of my weight loss journey. I just completed the Slim in 6 program by Debbie Siebers. I'll have to admit, it was pretty rough.. especially week 6, which I'm wrapping up tomorrow. I slacked off a bit this week so I am not going to take a recovery week. I am ready to move on to the Slim Series DVD's I purchased. I will start this Sunday, Aug. the 30th. I want to welcome anyone to this thread! Even if you're on another program and just looking for some support to reach your goals, or if you're a true sucess story yourself and can shed some light for us newbies. I know that I would not have already lost 20+ lbs in two months if it wasn't for this community. My awesome coach Monie got a rotation schedule from Debbie Siebers herself that combines Si6 SS and regular cardio. I made a calender to show what I will be following and anyone else can too! My goals for Round 2 are to lose another 10 lbs, or pant size and inches... lots of inches! emoticon I know that this is just the next step to a healthy life. I am desperate to try P90X after this and all the other aweosome programs BB has to offer.

I just finished P90X Chest, Shoulders and Triceps, and finished off with Ab Ripper X. Now I'm ready to go back to sleep! Just kidding, well, maybe! lol emoticon

First day w/o is complete! I did Si6's BIU, Slim 'n 6 pack & Slim 'n Limber. I'm pretty pooped b/c I was slacking off last week, but it feels good to get back in the game. I'm looking forward to cracking open the SS dvd's tomorrow emoticon

Thanks for checking in on me Coach, I know you had a good w/o hehe. A nap sounds really nice.. I woke up early to be sure to get my w/o in before my sister treats me to a pedi. I think she feels bad for winning the money by 0.8 lbs hah.

I'm going to take a new before pic for SS. As Debbie always says.. "see you tomorrow!"

Glad to see you made it through your first SS workout! So Firm it Up was all lower body, huh? Worse than the floor leg lifts in BIU?

I'm living vicariously through you, since I don't have my Slim Series dvd's yet! emoticon

I saw your before and after pics in your old thread. WOW! You did such a great job. It has really inspired me to work harder. I did so good for about 5 weeks then pooped out on week six. I looked at the calendar and did 4 workouts in week five and only 1 in week six. I dont know why i lost the motivation. Part of me thinks it was the length of the videos. I just cant stand looking at the clock thinking..."im so tired and sweaty" and still having 48 minute to go! LOL

I ordered slim series express. I seems like there is only a cardio sculpt video and a 30 minute stretching video. (THIRTY MINUTES OF STRETCHES????) Well, I plan on using the new ones mixed in with the cardio core express, thin thighs guaranteed and maybe some of the older videos. I lent my first disc with start it up and ramp it up to a friend to try. Now i wish i Still had them here!! Oh i forgot i also odered keep it up. But i have no idea how long that video is. My other workout threads kinda pooped out. I guess people either lost motivation like i did or they are just too busy. I know school is starting back up for alot of people with kids. I'm thinking of starting another thread or maybe I will just stay here. I definitely need a thread with regular daily posts to keep me going, even if it is because of guilt. LOL

I plan on doing my workout later. So, you will probably see me post again this evening. Talk to you soon!

Yes, it was alll lower body.. lots of squats! There was one set of what I like to call BUTT UPS haha when you lay down and pick up your pelvic part... I felt a pretty intense burn there haha. I didn't give it 100% b/c I am still having issues with my knees. Someone recommended I try one of those pills for my joints.. any ideas Monie?

Hello Michelle!!! I'm so glad you're here on the thread. I had a pretty suckie week 6 too, that's why I jumped in SS because I felt like I had recovered already from BIU lol. I really did lose the motivation that week like you. It helps SOOO much to be able to log on each day and know that others are working on reaching their goals with you. I love the accountability we have here emoticon I do want to buy the Express dvd's in time.. let me know how you like those when you get them. SS are all an hour and longer, even the stretching dvd lol. I think this will be a great way to prepare me for P90X that I really want to do after. When I put the rotation schedule my lovely coach Monie (she is the other person in this thread emoticon) put together, it really helped me visualize my daily work outs. I have it as my comp back ground and also printed out. Can you see the one I put in the first message? I can't anymore for some reason. Anywho.. I think it will be beneficial and motivating to do the same since you are doing so many different dvds. Have a great w/o Michelle.. ttys!!

Just finished cardio core and thin thighs workout. Feels great to be all sweaty and be done in less than an hour!

Whatever you posted in the first thread only shows up as an X in a box. So something must have happened to your schedule there. Maybe you can repost that or something.

I definitely recognize you from the other thread. It's cool that you are so active in jenny's workout transformations. I never heard from my coach at all. And when i read her profile it never showed slim in 6 as one of her workouts. So i figured, eh, i probably didnt need her anyway! LOL

Hey!

Thanks for letting me know about this new thread. There was no activity for several days on the other. Anyway, last week should have been week 5 for me, and I caught a bad cold that turned into a chest cold, so I slacked off and only exercised 2 or 3 days. I'm back on target today, but I'm concerned that I lost momentum. In te information, it says that the biggest benefit will come in the 6th week. Has anyone else gone through this? Were the results still strong?

Hello Jenny, Michelle, Monie and Kristi,

I would love to join your thread. I have just finished Slim in 6 and had great results. I lost 15 lbs and 19 inches (all over). I would like to lose 35 more lbs and as many inches as I can!! I started SS on Saturday and OMG! After Firm it up(FIU)on Sat. and Shape it up (SIU)on Sun. I could barely move yesterday. I was good this morning and I did Mix it up(MIU). I can see that after doing these for six weeks you could see some real progress. I am eating a 1300 cal menu plan and that is working for me.

I am currently on two other threads but they do not post often enough for me. I like to see what everyone is doing every day or close to it. It is so easy to fall off and I do not want to do that. So hopefully we can all keep this going for awhile. After the next six weeks are over I am going to move on to Turbo Jam.

Nice to meet all of you and hope to get to know you abit better over time.

Good Morning everyone! Welcome to Kristi and Kathleen! I will be looking for you to add as buddies emoticon I completed Tone it UP today and it was incredible! It felt great to work out those arms with weights! I hate my jiggly triceps so I look forward to that w/o again. Debbie's sister Judy was in this video and they were cracking me up the entire time lol.

Michelle, awesome job on getting your w/o in later! I usually try to do it in the morning around 5 - 5:30 am b/c after work I have homework and am just plain lazy hehe. I hate seeing 48 min haha.. that's usually after the warm ups and the first set that pretty tough so I usually feel the same way like ugh Debbie! I fixed my calender so you should be able to see it now. Seeing that calender makes me not want to mess it up and miss my work outs hah. Whatever works right? Yes, Coach Monie is awesome! I actually met her through amazon.com when I was reading the reviews for Si6 and I switched over to her when I joined TBB. TBB has it set up where you have to be the first person to contact your coach for security reasons, so that's why you haven't heard from them I think.

Kristi, hello to you emoticon I hope your cold has gotten better so you can focus on yourself some more. My biggest benefit came in the fifth week since I slacked off in the sixth. I did lose my momentum there for a while and it came back just as quick. It's amazing how my body felt discusted after not w/o and eating bad for a few days. It's like everyday I didn't stay on plan, I would be paying for it at night with not sleeping well and an upset stomach. That's why it was easy for me to get back on track and start fresh. My results from Si6 were very good overall. I had already starting losing weight before with eating better, but the six weeks helped me drop another 12 pounds at least. Plus I went down a few pant sizes! I love starting fresh hehe. Don't worry about week 6... will you be doing another round of Si6, or a different program?

Kathleen, those are some amazing results! Congratulations on finishing up Si6! Did you take before and after pics? I posted mine on my profile as well. How did you like SiU and MiU? I haven't done those yet. Those are coming soon for me. I agree, logging in everyday helps me stay motivated. My weakness lately has been frozen yogurt after dinner with my BF. EEk! At least fruit is better than chocolate though! I think it should get better soon b/c he's starting P90X and has better will power for the sweets than I do hah. I did TJ a couple of times in my friends garage a year ago and really liked it. I will purchase that one after P90X and use that to continue on and keep in shape.. it's really good cardio I think. Is Si6 the first BB program you have done?

Hello and Good Morning to all of you! I am just full of energy this morning whoa lol. Today was my cardio and ab day. I took my puppy Teddy for a 45 min jog around my neighborhood. I haven't really jogged/ ran in a month, but it seems that I have really improved, so I was super happy about that. Besides all the ashes in the sky from the CA fires, it was a really nice morning. Here I am enjoying my Shakeology and starting my work day, I hope you all have a great day. Talk to you all soon!

I had my first work-out after my cold a couple of nights ago, and I felt pretty lousy - my heart rate was through the roof! Last night, though, I felt better, I think, than I have ever felt doing BIU. I hope to lose some more inches in the next two weeks!

I ordered ChaLean Extreme a couple of nights ago. I'm thinking that a new program / goal will help keep me motivated, and that I might see better results. It sounds like the Slim Express is working for everyone, though. I thought it would seem too repetitive after Slim 6, but it doesn't sound like the case. Anyway, I'll probably go home for Christmas, and it would be nice to be strong and fit!

Where are you from in So Cal? I grew up in Palm Desert.

Hi Kristi! I'm from Rancho Cucamonga, which is a little over an hour West of Palm Desert. I have a week off next week and my boss offered me to stay at her time share in Palm Desert so I'm super excited to veg out by the pool hehe. I've always wanted to go out there. Where are you living now? I think you had a really good w/o because you let your body rest some. I would like to find out how you like Chalean Extreme. I might do that one down the road. Hi Jenny girl, I thought I would drop in real quick to say hey and hello on your newest thread. I am happy to be back home from my visit with my mom. We had a GR8 time and I ordered Tony's workout that you and Angel suggested and had it sent directly to her house. She promised she will check it out, so I hope it will help her with stiffness and strengthening. I see you already have new friends on this thread. I already know Kathleen she posts on the other SI6 thread that I visit which has slowly died out unfortunately. Good to see you are getting motivated again and starting slim series. I will order mine today or tomorrow for sure. I took Tuesday the 1st off and got back to work today with BIU and S&L. I felt surprisingly good considering I did it last time on Monday the 24th Even made it through all the leg lifts again.

Kathleen, Howdy, and welcome to Miss Jenny's thread, Jenny and Monie and Michelle are all members of the other SI6 thread that I post on that started a week after your group. You can't go wrong joining here Jenny will keep you motivated.

Kristi, you will love this group, Jenny is super awesome!

Hey All, Happy Wednesday! I did Tone it Up this morning and it was great. I can't wait to see my results after a couple of wks.

Kristi - The slim series has enough variation that you can go right into it from SI6, I think. Unless however you are sick of Debbie and need a break.

Jenny - I have yet to try Shakeology, how is it and what is the difference between that and the regular protien shakes?

Tawny - Hey there! Nice to see you over here. I feel like you caught me cheating..HEE HEE.emoticon I am still going to post over on the other thread, I thought it might be time to expand my horizons. Glad to hear your vacation went well.

I just did burn it up for my workout today. I purposely skipped over the lunges and the floor leg exercises and it cut my time down to a good 35 or 40 minutes. PERFECT!

Now, i gotta rest up and get ready for work. Last night was super sucky. I dont wanna go back tonight!

Great job on getting back in the groove.. you'll like Slim Series.. especially the new butt work outs haha.

Kathleen, dont 'cha just love that Tone it Up video? hmmm I can't say I feel much of a "difference" between Shakeology and a regular protein shake b/c I have never purchased regular protein powder. I needed supplements and after watching the video for Shakeology I decided to try it. I can tell you something, I absolutely love it! emoticon it's sooo yummy. At first it tasted like medicine with cocoa powder, but then I added some strawberries, or a little dash of peanut butter and yum yum. My body really craves it each morning after my work out. Keeps me very content for a few hours.

Michelle, good job on doing BIU and making those adjustments to fit your schedule! I still have a hard time with the lunges because I have a lot of knee pains. I think I should invest in something for my joints rather than stopping half way through those exercises. Then again, I already lost my booty and have bunz of steel so what's the point haha jk.

I realize that this would make my third post for the day, but how else is a girl to stay motivated? emoticon Have a good one!

Kathleen, no you are not cheating, not unless you abandon your last post, and I know you won't do that.emoticon I jump in and post on a few threads especially if I read a question that I think I can help with. So it's okay don't feel bad. I just wish so many of the ladies on Amanda's thread hadn't disappeared. Hey do you think they lost so much weight that they did disappear?emoticon

Michelle, keep up the good work and you will surely get the results you are wanting in the end. Have you tried Cardio Core Express? It is a short workout that really gets your heart pumping, and it is even pretty fun.

Jenny, I saw that you mentioned trying something for your knee joints. I recommend Glucosamine Chondroitin, with MSM. I use Osteo Bi Flex Triple Strength, they say to take two pills a day but I only take one and it really helps. You don't know how much it helps until you accidentally run out and don't take it for a couple of days. It is kind of expensive, but sometimes you can find it on sale at Walgreens or Kroger food stores if you have Krogers in Cali. If you have any more questions let me know.

Hi Jenny, We used to be practically neighbors! emoticon I was offered a promotion with my company 4 years ago, but had to move to Saskatchewan in Canada. I had never even heard of the city, but I have to say that I really like the country and the city I moved to. My kids love it to, and have often said how much better it is here than California. It's funny to hear, but I'm glad they like it.

I have knee pain too, but I can do the lunges if I'm very careful, and don't try to keep up. I focus more on technique, and making sure that I go straight down, so I feel it in my quads - not my knees. I don't try to do the arms with it, just keep my hands on my hips. Now as for the floor work, that I haven't been able to complete without knee pain.

Hi Tawny, nice to meet you. I'm in awe that you can complete all of the leg lifts. I haven't even done that once.

I got the Chalean Extreme set today! I'm planning to finish out the week with Slim in 6 before I start it, but I'm excited to get started.
