So do you have any extra tips for great results? I have completed 90 days of P90X and currently in my 2nd week of Insanity. I had great results but just can't seem to get the ripped core like I'm trying for. Any extra tips (if any) would be helpful.

I would really focus on diet. Get plenty of protein and Recovery formula so you can recovery quickly. I try to focus on my core during the exercises and go as hard and explosive as I can. Sorry I took so long to rep

Well its a fine line between getting ripped while maintaining muscle mass. What I did was got plenty of protein about 160 grams a day(gram per pound) and used creatine.

JOG!! Are you serious?? I'll probably never jog again in my life unless I run a marathon.Insanity is all the cardio you need..I tried lifting weights, it lasted for all of one day. Then I realized I couldnt recover fast enough to go hard the next day with Insanity.

Wow so this is ALL RESULTS off of diet+insanity huh? No weights and just hard work. Well that my friend is amazing. I would say im relatively near same shape u were in at the beginning of ur day 1 pic. SOoooo u might have leaned me closer to Insanity instead of another round of p90x. Hmm nice job. I don't eat very healthy though... ugh its more money stable problem since i got college classes. All i can do is hope for the best i guess. Nice job once again!

Id say if you have the muscle bulk and build you want, go for it...Insanity will get you ripped no doubt. I know how you feel with the $ situation and eating clean. Its a lil more expensive, but with everything in life, you have to make sacrifices to get what you want. Feel free to holla at me, meet me in wowy sometime.

Very impressive! Your arms, shoulders and chest looks bigger, and without weights that is just amazing. I just started Insanity, on my second week after 2 consecutive rounds of P90X. Just a few quick questions if you have time:

1. Other than protein and creatine, what was your diet like? Did you follow the diet guidelines in the Insanity material which I found to be quite good... What was your calorie intake like and ratio of protein, fats, carbs etc...

2. Did you do any direct ab work or just the cardio abs per the schedule?

I appreciate the help and your progress is very inspirational.

I didnt follow the Insanity diet plan because I was already pretty much in a eating routine..example

1. 5 egg whites, 1 whole egg in omlete w/ veggies. 1/2 cup oatmeal with fresh blueberrys
2. Protein shake, fruit
3. 1/2 Turkey wrap w/lettuce & tomatoe, baby carrots, 1/2 cup nuts
4. Protein Bar, fruit
5. Protein shake (1 scoop-pre workout), 1 tbl spoon peanut butter
6. Protein shake (1 scoop protein, 1 scoop recovery formula)
7. Grilled chicken breast, 1 cup broccoli, 1 med sweet potatoe

Thats just an example of a day for me,(i switch it up sometimes) everyone is different, and Im no nutritionist, but I kind of know what works for me through trial and error.

I dont count calories, carbs, of any of that ratio junk..lol. Its just too much for me. I started a couple years ago by writing down everything I ate. Back then I did count calories and protein intake only. Seemed to work for me, so now I just try to get about 150 grams protein daily. Thats about 1 gram per pound. Also I did no additional ab work, just Insanity. Thanks for the compliments, any more questions, feel free to ask me. Im always open for advice or questions.

Thanks for the quick reply, good information for me. That is very close to my diet, I eat a lot of eggs, fruits & veggies, whey protein, oats, cottage cheese, greek yogurt, lean chicken, complex carbs etc etc.
