Hey Everyone, first off I want to say how motivating all these great success stories are. I am hoping to be one myself soon.

I am 46 years old, 6'1'' tall and 22 days ago made the decision to change my life forever. I started P90X!!!

21 days ago I weighed 238 lbs, had a 15.35% BF and a 43.75" waist and this is what I looked like


Now 21 days later I weigh 223 lbs and have a 14.76% BF and have lost 2 inches off my waist.

Still have a long way to go but got lots of P90X left.

Good for you. Today is my 30 days. I've lost 6 or 7 lbs and at least an inch on almost every part of my body. Today I'm starting Phase II

Thanks Yweston. Congratulations on making 30 days!! And on the losses in weight and body. Makes you feel good doesn,t it?!?! Kepp working and I am sure you will keep seeing great results.

Today is DAY 27, and I am down to 220lbs. That's 18 lbs since I started. My goal is to get to 205 lbs, so only 15 more to go. I am really stoked to get to PHASE 2. That is where everybody seems to start getting really noticable results.

Wednesday is DAY 30 so I will be posting 30 day pics. I've been putting in extra cardio trying to shed that extra belly goo.

Allright.....Today is DAY 30!!!!! And I got my first great milestone today. I weighed in at 218 lbs. I do not think I have been under 220 lbs since before I went into the Marine Corps (29 years ago). So this is HUGE for me. My goal is to get to 205 lbs by the end of my 90 days.

Yesterday was first day of Phase 2 and man am I glad to be lifting weights again. Chest, Shoulders, and Tris......what a great workout. I love this one. I am so sore this morning. Almost forgot what that was like,LOL. Also, I almost made it all the way thru AbRipperX without pausing. I only had to pause it twice and only for about 15 seconds cause my abs cramped. But man was I close. After all that I went to the gym and did 30 minutes on the ellipticle machine for a 365 calorie burn. I think I will make this round DOUBLES for the extra fat burn.

Today is PLYO which is one of my toughest workouts but I love it. This is a great workout for shredding pounds. Tonight is picture night so I will be posting 30 day comparisons tomorrow morning. Can't wait to see what the pics show.

Ok, here are my 30 day stats and pics. Day 1 pics are on the left and day 30 are on the right.

Weight Day 1--- 238-----Day 30---218
Body Fat--------15.35%-----------14.46%
Waist-----------43.75"-----------41"
Chest-----------48.75"-----------48.75"
Arms------------17"--------------18"
Legs------------25.25"-----------26.5"

Weight loss has been great. I wish body fat was better. And although my chest arms and legs are not getting much bigger yet, I had (stiil have some) a lot of fat in some of those areas, especially chest/lats.

So comments are welcome, please let me know what you think of my progress.

Allright.......Day 32.
Got up early this morning and did CardioX first thing. Man was that tough on an empty stomach. But I could sure feel the GOO coming off with the sweat!!!

Getting ready to do Back and Bi's for the first time. Looks like a good workout....I'll let you know after. If I survive...LOL

Now get out there and BRING IT !!!!

Thanks jhovadu and pandamoneum, I really appreciate it. It is nice to hear from other people that the results are noticable. I mean I can see some progress but mostly all I see are the bad areas that need more improvement. So Thanks again.

So Back and Bi's last night...... another great routine. Killer, cause I am feeling it today but I think Phase 2 is going to be some good gains, especially in my arms, chest and back. I am actually looking forward to YogaX as a break.......who woulda ever thought that?!? LOL

Hey Everybody........Happy Saturday!!!
Well I got up early this morning, got dressed for CardioX, drank a little water and took my vitamins. Waited about 15 minutes and started my workout. Everything was going great, I was working hard and just as I got to wacky jacks my stomach started to heave and now I'm running to the john to throw up. Guess maybe I may not want to take my vitamins before I workout anymore. LOL. Anyway I cleaned myself up took a little water and backtracked the dvd to wacky jacks and finished my workout. I feel pretty proud of myself not to let a little thing like that stop me from getting my workout in.....

HMMMM, I wonder if maybe this is a way to lose a few extra pounds.......relax... I am only joking.

Anyway no more vitamns before my early workouts.

45 minutes from now I do Legs and Back, then AbRipperX.

Did the ARX this morning. Am finding I get a better ab workout if I do them before I do the main workout, cause I am not so exhausted from BRINGING IT!!

Am down to 215lbs this morning!!!!! Only 10 more to go. Gotta keep at it.....KEEP PUSHING PLAY!!!

Great story man, and motivating! How are you finding your energy levels after adding the 2nd cardio in here and there? I've been wanting to do that from time to time but haven't quite committed yet. I'm on day 36 and feeling great.

Hey Tounadough, thanks for the nice words.
It has been a challenge doing the doubles. I did find I was bonking a little in my afternoon workouts, so I started carb loading about 30 - 45 minutes before my workout with fruit like apples and bananas. Also I think I pushed a little too hard as I have inflamed an old achilles tendon, pulled an elbow tendon and strained my back this weekend. So I ahve modified my workouts, moved them around to give my back a chance to rest, but I keep going so I don't get behind schedule.
Am down to 212 lbs, that's 26 lbs in 53 days (i am on day 53 of P90X) and 46 lbs in 75 days. Only 7 more lbs to go for this Round. So I am right on track. Have no way to measure my BF%, but I can see it melting off of me. Still have a ways to go and I need to be extr clean the last 40 days in my diet.
Also, EVERYONE is amazed at my transformation so far. So this is very motivating to me.
I have lost almost 4 inches off my waist and like I said before the fat is coming off my body in all areas. All my belts are too big and I am punching new holes. And I have started wearing clothes I have NOT been able to get into for YEARS.
So I am going to recover this week and BRING IT EVEN HARDER for the next 5 weeks.

Wow your results are remarkable - your work and perseverence are really paying off. Your arms and chest have much more definition and it looks like you have lost even more than the two inches you mentioned.

Thanks Jim. I really appreciate your kind words. Helps to keep me motivated!

Just finished CoreX and let me tell you that is a tough workout when you have a pulled back muscle. You use your back for just about everything. And although my back is sore my ego feels much better about NOT wimping out. KPP!!
