This is going to be tough but I just finished P90X and thought I would move right into Insanity! Just completed the fit test today and here are the results:

Switch Kicks 124
Power Jacks: 52
Power Knees: 94
Power Jumps: 35 - these are HARD!
Globe Jumps: 7 - not so easy either!
Suicide Jumps: 15
Push up jacks: 20
Low Plank Oblique: 47 and an elbow rug burn to boot!! ;)

Wish me luck as I move forward into this intense workout!

Wow Awesome! I just started today as well my numbers were a bit lower but it's a start right?? This is my introduction to Beach Body...wanna keep track together??

Awesome Rob! So were in this together...today I am hitting the Plyometric cardio circuit! Yikes...going to wait an hour or so, I just ate and I want to keep it down. ;)

Hi you guys! I would like to join this little pact you got going on. This is my first ever workout program and I would like to have some friends to do it with. I'm 4-5 days behind, but that's no big deal. These are my stats. Buddy me!

Switch Kicks: 142
Power Jacks: 44
Power Knees: 79
Power Jumps: 31
Globe Jumps: 7
Suicide Jumps: 9
Push up jacks: 20
Low Plank Oblique: 52

My number are pretty good I think. I believe I could do better next time around.

WELCOME! Absolutely you can join in. This workout is KILLER, I'm on day 5 and lovin it so far, but wow, it's intense...just did Pure Cardio yesterday and thought I was going to hurl! Other than that, glad I made it through. Thanks to P90X I would never have been able to do this workout!

Hi,

I have done Turbo Jam for almost 2 years. I have lost a total of 25 pounds & really love the program. I was at 19% body fat; over the past 6 months, I have almost stopped working out. There is no weight to lose & finding a way to get definition is hard. I am considering Insanity, but I haven't seen many women that are doing it (besides yourself). I have tried the Hip Hop Abs, and not been a fan of it. Will I like this program? I've read that people couldn't do this workout "without having done the PX 90" will this be ok for me? Help, I can't decide. I think I just need something new!

Hey there,

This is very intense! You may want to do P90X first to avoid frustration. P90X is AWESOME and you will see results!! You will get definition with P90X as well. I just think Insanity is something to do after P90X. That is just my opinion because if I didn't do P90X I would have been discouraged totally!

Great job! I just finished week one today. This is my first Beachbody program. I really like the variety that Insanity gives you...makes the workouts go by fast! Pure Cardio was pretty brutal.

My fit test 1 results were:
  • Switch Kicks - 85
  • Power Jacks - 49
  • Power Knees - 70
  • Power Jumps - 40
  • Globe Jumps - 7
  • Suicide Jumps - 10
  • Push-up Jacks - 15
  • Low Plank Oblique - 60

Good luck with the rest of the program!

Ive got two weeks to go!!! If you thought those first weeks were tough just wait until you hit week 6-9 where you have the Max intervals!! Those are like the first round on steroids! The moves are truly insane. Glad to see youre enjoying it and keep it up you will make it. I started from no routine at all to where I am now. It hasnt been easy but you just have to "DIG DEEPER"

Not bad numbers for you! Good job! Insanity is exactly what they say INSANE, but stick with it no matter how hard it is. Pure cardio is my LEAST fave but I push myself through it. Thank goodness it's not that long of a workout huh? So far that is the toughest one I've done but if I can get through that, then I think I can get through the others.

Just wanted to join in on this convo. As a woman doin the Insanity workouts, it was great to see a couple more. I've done rockin body for a while, but then I seen the new Insanity workouts on the beachbody website and I had to get it. I am actually in my Recovery week this week. The first month was awesome. I absolutely love these workouts and no other workout has worked me this hard. I couldn't believe how sore I was the first day..the hubby had to give my calves a rubdown..not that I'm complaining. The only downfall I have is that according to the scale I've only lost 2 pounds..but my clothes are looser and I feel muscles in my body that I didn't ever feel before so it's been such a great thing for me. And the energy..WOWWWWW! I love it. I did the 15 day fit test and wanted to share my results which have improved since the first day.
Day 15
Switch kicks-127
Power Jacks-59
Power knees-96
Power Jumps-34
Globe Jumps-10
Suicide Jumps-15
Push-up Jacks-16 (I so need to build more strength in my arms, I'm workin on it) ;)
Low plank Oblique-57----oh and I got a rug burn to..

Any suggestions or motivation that you all have since I've only seen a 2lb loss would be great!! It's kinda stressful although I can feel the difference. You all know how us women are with that stinkin number on the scale!

Hi folks.

Yesterday I finished the Cardio Recovery (for the first time) and am about to do Day 4.

When I was done I was like "That's *recovery*?" Haha.

I don't see any results yet, but I can feel it. My muscles are responding well to it, and my abs are tightening up. I'm surprised it's as effective as it is.

It is so nice to see everyone enjoying Insanity, I know how tough it is, but it's a challenge that I look forward to every day! I hope everyone else feels the same way I do. I think about it all day and get super excited to jump into a new routine each day.

Today I did fit test #2 and here are the results:

Switch Kicks: 126 up by 2
Power Jacks: 61 up by 7
Power Knees: 104 up by 10
Power Jumps: 36 up by 1 emoticon getting tired by now.
Globe Jumps: 10 up by 3
Suicide Jumps: 17 up by 2
Push up Jacks: 25 up by 5
Low Plank Oblique: 59 up by 12 (learned my lesson and did this on a mat - no rug burns today)!

Cannot wait to see everyone elses results as the weeks go by!

Way to stick to the workouts everyone! I just finished my second fit test.
  • Switch Kicks - 110 +25
  • Power Jacks - 54 +5
  • Power Knees - 90 +20
  • Power Jumps - 45 +5
  • Globe Jumps - 8 +1
  • Suicide Jumps - 15 +5
  • Push-up Jacks - 25 +10
  • Low Plank Oblique - 60 no change (I was completely gassed at this point)

Not sure how many more power jacks I can possibly do. I was going as fast as I could non-stop the whole time.

Good work Mark! At first I was thinking, "how hard can the fit test be", then I did it and realized it was HARD! LOL

I am definitely starting to notice a big change in my cardio endurance and my waistline is diminishing even more..I am so excited! Keep up the good work everyone!

After 90 days of P90X and 90 days of P90X+ I thought I would give Insanity a try.

I did my fit test last night - WOW....what an A$$ kicking.

My results were:

SK = 121
PJ = 73
PK = 86
GJ = 15
SJ = 23
PJ= 38
LP = 72

Looking forward to this new challenge and can't wait to see the additional results this will bring.

Nice to see all the positive results from eveyone here who have started a few weeks back. Definitely motivating!

Don't get hung up on the numbers! If the workout is as insane as it looks, you will be burning fat and building muscle. Muscle is heavier than fat so unless you have loads of fat, you won't be shedding much. You appear to be in the category of "not much to lose" so keep bringing it and you will be happy!
