You don't need no stinking turkey! (okay, maybe a little!) What you need is an EXTREME challenge!!! And now is the time to make the commitment to get fit and healthy! If you can make it through the holidays, you can make it through anything!!!!

Whether this is your first time doing Chalean or your 4th time! Come on in and join for some daily support and motivation!!!

I'll be starting my round 2 on Monday, November 23rd and I couldn't be more excited! I got great results the last time I did it and I can't wait to see how far I can take my body! This week, I'm focusing on cardio and a little recovery.

A little background about me. I made the decision to do something about my health, in particular, my weight, when I turned 30, that was two years ago. I decided to join Weight Watchers and that was the start of everything! I lost 20lbs with WW and gradually started working out at home doing Leslie Sansone's walking DVD's. Then, I kept seeing the infomercials for P90X and one day decided to try it. After just two weeks, I noticed changes and when I took my 30 day pics, I was AMAZED!!!! This really worked!!!! Well, ever since, I've been hooked on Beachbody! Their products are life changing!!!! I then did Chalean Extreme and loved it! I loved the fact that I not only toned up but slimmed down! Last week was my last week of Slim In 6 and I enjoyed that one as well! Debbie certainly kicks butt!

So, I've done P90X twice, Chalean and SI6 and now, on to round 2 of CE! Then, I think it's time to get Insane!!!! I want to try Insanity! I can't wait!!!!

Another Fat Burn Challege down! Today, I wore my weighted gloves! Gave it a little TJ twist! Gotta love it!

I can tell that my body was missing all the cardio during SI6 because my body is feeling it!

So, how is everyone doing out there in Beachbody land? Can't wait to start CE with you all! Keep up the good work!

Great pics!

I'm about halfway through my first CHALEAN experience, and loving it so far! Today is day 43 for me (or day 13 of the PUSH phase). After this, just in time for 2010, I think I'm going to try INSANITY -- I can already feel that this is making me stronger, but I'm psyched to pump it up just a bit more!

Speaking of ... it's after 9 pm, and I still have to do today's workout. Time to push play!

Good afternoon everyone! Hope all is well! I have to admit, today I am taking a rest day! My arms are killing me!!!! I am sore!!!!! This is technically my recovery week anyway before starting CE on Monday, so I need to save my arm energy because ooohhhh am I going to need it!!!!!

So, how is everyone? Remember, just because the holidays are fast approaching, doesn't mean we work less hard! Think of it as a normal day and push play! If you get that workout done in the morning, then you can feel a whole lot better about having a little extra turkey and gravy! Yuummmmmmm!!!!!!

Ack! It's been a hectic few days -- my 40th birthday is next week, and I've started the parties a bit early! I thought I'd fallen way off the wagon, but it turns out I've only really missed one workout -- or two, if you cound the workout I normally would have done on one of my rest days.

Anyway! Tomorrow is a new beginning, and I'm lucky to have this coming week off work -- I'm planning to add some extra cardio each day.

Just wondering: what kind of weights does everyone use? I have all loose dumbbells -- right now my heaviest are only 12 lbs, but I'm thinking of buying some 15 lb this weekend.

I've always wondered: how does everyone buy their weights, especially the adjustable ones that total 50 lbs or more? I live in Manhattan, and don't have a car (most people I know here don't!) -- I've been going to my local Sports Authority, and taking a taxi home, struggling with these heavy weights.

Hey girls! So sorry I haven't posted yet, but I've actually been busy putting up x-mas decorations! I know, I know, it's early! But, since I've moved back to the Northwest; I've missed my seasons!!!! So, the longer I can enjoy these times, the better! I tell ya what though, I sure did get a workout going up and down the basement stairs, carrying boxes!!!!

I've been eating clean and doing my carido, gearing up for Monday!!!!

Diane: Yeah! What are your plans for your b-day?!!!! I hope you have a great one! I actually bought the Weider adjustable weights last year, half way through CE. The Weider are just as good as the Bowflex and a lot less expensive! I got mine at Sears and the stand was included!!! I'm sure if you have a Sears there, they could probably deliver them for you! I also have other weights too that vary between 2lbs and 15lbs; I go back and forth.

Debra: I've heard good things about the Weider weights -- unfortunately, there are no Sears around here.

I started the birthday celebration early! A few nights ago, I had a pretty big party at a downtown bar / lounge -- really fun. Then last night, had a big family dinner: parents, sisters, niece / nephew. And on my actual bday, Tues, I'm planning to work out, then get a massage, then I have plans for karaoke that night with about 10 friends. Fun! (I'm off from work all this week, so that in itself is a nice bday present!)

I've been having a lazy day at home all day today -- time to push play! Planning on doing some Get Lean Intervals, then Push Circuit 2.

I've been thru 1 1/2 rounds of P90X, but have been out of a consistent program since early Sept. I REALLY need to get my be-hind in gear again!!!

I've done a few of the CE w/o's and really liked them. I would love to see what kind of results I could get going all the way with it.

Diane, I'm TOTALLY jealous of your job - don't blame you one bit for tipping the scale a little after those trips, but I hear 'ya - the up-down-up-down gets old.

Is anyone scheduled in WOWY for tomorrow?

Hello girls!!!!! Well, it's Chalean Eve!!! LOL

Who's ready to start their transformation tomorrow?!!! I know I am!!!! I feel like a little kid at X-Mas! I can't wait to start! I'm so glad we can all share this journey together and keep each other motivated and accountable! Which reminds me, I want to make myself accountable to me and you all by posting my workouts daily here! So, let's do this, let's post our accountability every day! So, tomorrow when I post it will look something like this:

Accountability: Burn Circuit 1

How does that sound? That way, if we post it daily, we're really holding ourselves accountable! And knowing that we've got others depending on us, it'll make it even more important!

Sherry: Welcome and glad to have you!!! Congrats on P90X! It's a tough workout, but great! Can't wait to hear your progress in the next 3 months! I'm not scheduled for WOWY tomorrow, but I usually log in around 9am or so. Maybe I'll see some of you in there!

Accountability: 11/23 Burn Circuit 1/SI Six Pack

Wooooo hoooooo!!!!! Burn Circuit 1 in the books! Wow!!! Now I remember what it was like when I first did this program!!!! I can still feel the burn in my muscles!!! I love it!!!! I wanted to also do some ab work too, so I did the Slim In Six Pack too!

So, did everyone take their measurements? I did and I'm also tracking my calorie intake on myfitnesspal! It's a HUGE help!!!! I also had my cup of multi grain Cheerios with 1 cup non fat milk to build those lean muscles!!!!

Sherry: I saw you in WOWY! Way to go girl!!!! Keep it up!

I'm so glad we're all in this together and let's keep it going strong through the holiday season! We all need that extra push and motivation and I know we can do it!!!! It's called will power! You've all got it in you! Just think of the end results and you can do it!!!!

Hey group! Good to have Day 1 under the belt. Can I just say, it was really tough to 'push play', but it's such a short workout - why not!?! It always feels so good afterwards...

I took measurements last week so I'll be good to go there, my photographer son will be home for Txgiving so I'll have him update those. I need a sort-of-after anyway. I'm hardly 'after' but I've come a long way since last Jan.

I did happen to see you Deb, but I forget to check...lol! I'll try to be better. emoticon If I can get to bed at a decent hour tonight I'll probably get up and try to get my w/o in a little earlier.

What's everyone having for dinner???

Hi everyone. I actually restarted today - this is like my 4th round. I actually started with the lean phase 4 weeks ago and restarted with burn 1 today. Typically i do the weights Sund, Tues, Thurs with cardio M/W/F and take Saturdays off. I need all the motivation i can get. LOVE CE and asking Santa for the new DVDs for Christmas. My problem is and always has been eating too much. I'm doing better than i ever used to getting back on track after I mess up but I am going to really get back on track and stay there for the next 3 months! Mary Pat just don't give up! One day it'll click and all come together. I'm 42, mother of 3 and last year i started ChaLean right before the holidays and actually made it through without gaining weight - first time ever. I've slacked a lot on eating and am up 5-8 pounds from my lowest so next week starts clean eating (and most of this week) and on to getting to my goal. I've lost 20 pounds so now it's between 12-15....big thing is never give up exercising and get back on track eating clean as much as possible. I look forward to everyone's posts and here's to getting fit in 2010. emoticon

Hi girls! Glad to see you pushing play!

Sherry: Way to go girl! I know what you mean about getting a decent night's sleep!!! I haven't been sleeping well lately and usually don't fall asleep until after 11pm! BAD!!!! So, hopefully, I can start getting to bed earlier. Plus, the longer I'm up, the more I want to snack, so it's much easier if I get to bed by 9! I love the fact that the workouts are so short! Woo hoo!

For dinner, I'm having grilled chicken breast, quinoa and veggies!

What about you guys?

I also just went to the store and bought some salad and tuna, so I can make the tuna salad recipe in the CE book for lunch!

SueKay: Welcome! So glad to have you! Congrats on keeping up with your workouts! Especially through the holidays! That's a big challenge! Keep up the good work and stay on track! You sound focused and that's great! It's that light at the end of the tunnel! Results will follow, but you have to lead the way! Way to go!
