Jeremy's P90X crazy transformation thus far!

I started P90X on September 1st of this year. I made it to day 35 and then my wife, all 3 of my children, and me all got sick with the swine flu. Big set back, but we are back on track and started over. We are on week three. The side by side pics are from day 30 the first time around, and the single photo is a recent picture. Let me know what you think!

Thanks man! It's working good for me. But the key has been my nutrition which has shed my body fat from 11.5 percent to 9 percent. I'm hoping for 7 after 90 days...

So what kind of nutrition plan are you on? I have completed P90X and am currently doing Insanity. I had GREAT results from P90X but still have not pulled off the ripped core I have been trying for. I'm slowly getting there but I see you have fast results. I have started upping my supplements and I have been eating really well since when I started P90X about 5 months back. Any advice (if any) would be appreciated. Congrats on your results btw.

Pretty amazing results! Your arms and back shots are incredible, not to mention your chest and abs! I think you will reach your goal of 7% body fat easy by day 90. Keep up the good work! Congrats again!

Dyamod,

All I did was P90X...I had about a 300 to 400 calorie deficit every day and I ate every 2 and a half to three hours. I would get up at 6:00am, eat a big breakfast by 6:30am( biggest meal of the day), then I would have a snack at 9:30am, lunch at noon, snack at 3:00pm, then dinner at 5:30 or 6:00pm. And right before bed I would have a protein shake with just 4 ounces of skim milk, or a half a cup of cottage cheese. And since I absolutely hate veggies (lol) I would have 8 ounces of V8 juice at lunch and 8 more at dinner. I pretty much would stick to egg whites, turkey, or chicken, and my carbs came from whole wheat bagals, engish muffins, or whole grain bread. Snacks would be string cheese, protein bars, almonds, protein shakes, or trail mix. And occasionally I'd make chicken taco's with shredded mozzarella, guacamole, and low calorie hot sauce. I always had atleast two fruits a day as well, like a bannana, grapes, or an apple. My calorie intake was probably 2200 to 2300 a day for the first 30 days. I lost 8 pounds and 2 and a half percent body fat. Now I've been eating closer to my BMR and have added some muslce weight back. As long as I can easily see my abs, I know I'm doing everything right. I don't want to get too skinny. Occasionally, meaning every two weeks, I'll go get a burger and a coke. It doesn't hurt to enjoy life every once in a while, and it gives the motivation to work towards that day as a reward. Again it's only every two weeks not a part of my daily lifestyle.

As far as the workouts go, I just try and get at least 1 to 2 more reps every week for every exercise. It keeps me sore every week, which means I'm breaking my muscles down enough so that they can build back up bigger and stronger. I went from 12 pull-ups on my fit-test day, to 21 in 3 weeks, and I started at 25 lbs dumbbells on most of exercises to using 40's. I keep reps inbetween 6-10 and when I get to 10, I up the weight by 5 to 10 pounds.

If yall have any questions please ask. I'm not a coach, but have been asked by my coach to be one after 90 days, and I love to help and encourage people any way that I can.

Your diet doesn't sound too much different than mine. Actually almost just like mine. I've done a lot of research and I've also seen that some has to do with genetics. I'm getting there but just not as fast as you. I have a friend that completed and P90X and P90X+ and he's kind of in the same boat as I am. Thanks for the reply. I'll get there!!

thx for the tips and info Jeremy!
I'll try harder to focus more on the diet and times I eat etc. Can be quite a difficult task. Starting week 5 tomorrow. Man how time flys! Sometimes I feel like I'm killing myself but I do see results. I'll be taking my day 30 pics this tuesday. Hope I like what I see. lol.

Thanks for the details regarding your diet. I'm only on day 1 of my second week. Your day 1 pics look pretty similar to mine. I am fairly concerned about losing weight, but will look at incorporating some of your meal habits into my schedule.

shilsmeier,

Genetics is also a factor like you said. I wasn't in shape at all when I started, but I was lean, just really soft and no definition. Don't get me wrong, I pushed myself to the limit every workout, and I ate really clean, but I didn't have as far to go as some people do. My wife has been doing P90X as well. She has lost almost 14 pounds in a little over 30 days. So as long as you keep pushing play everybody will lose pounds, body, fat, gain muscle, and lose inches. It might take 2 or 3 rounds of P90X but isn't it worth it? I know I'm not going to stop after 90 days. I'm going to keep doing this until I'm 80!

dynamod,

Post your pics on this thread. I'd love to see your progess. Just remember, it's not P30X or P42X, it's P90X, and ultimately P180X, 270X, and on and on and on. Keep working hard, pressing plkay, bringing it, and your results will shock everyone around. Let me know how everything is goin'!

wideout,

Our body types are pretty similar. I'm not a psychic or anything, but going off of your body type now, you'll get ripped really quick, only if you stick to the diet. That's always the key. You can still gain muscle and get bulkier of you don't, but if you want to get cut and ripped, and all of that jazz, eat clean, eat often, and eat the right foods. Looking forward to seeing your 30 day results. Post them on this thread!

nomoicecream,

I'm glad I can be a motivating factor for you. There were tons of guys and girls (they still are) who motivated me by their results. That's why I bought the program in the first place. I said, "If they can go from this, to THAT, I know I can." You can do it bro. Keep me updated on your progess man! It motivates everyone!

Bazooka,

Thanks man! I'm hoping my 90 day results are crazy too!
