if you want to gain mass you gotta eat at at least maintenance level, most people seem to eat 500 calories more, this will lead to quicker gains in muscle but also gains in fat; however, you just go through a cutting phase, with all the muscle it should be pretty easy to burn it off. Make sure to atleast get your weight in grams in protein.

yes i am doing p90x however i am not doing the kenpo, yoga, during the normal weeks. I am only doing the legs/back, arms etc.

as of 11/23/09 i am starting the muscle confusion week with the core synergystics, x stretch, yoga etc.

it has been a few years since i checked but at that time my bodyfat was like 3-4% i doubt that it has gone up much

I doubt you are 3-4% bodyfat. If you really are, that is unhealthy and you should be eating... a ton!

Especially if you're trying to build up your abs, you should be doing yoga. It's a great core workout. Also, yoga builds your stabilizer muscles and if you're that skinny, you need all the stability you can get.

I think you can probably skip to phase three and eat as much as you can. How many calories are you getting now? How much do you weigh and how tall are you?

I do eat a ton i have a real fast metabolism i have always been this way. I used to live off of donuts & cookies, anything i wanted & i don't gain a pound.

I am 22 yrs old, 6'1, between 170 & 180 lbs. I'm not sure my calorie intake, but i eat sandwiches, eggs, chicken breast, etc. mostly protien since i have started p90x

I would follow the nutrition plan because protein isn't everything. Another thing I would like to add is that a lot of naturally thin people like you may have a high metabolism, but I also think that they are not eating as much as they actually think they are. If you want to gain weight, then the answer is simple, eat more. And by the looks of things, A LOT more.

Post an example of your daily diet (portion sizes included) and we can TRY to come up with a calorie estimate for you...

First of all, that isn't a very healthy looking diet. Second of all, that looks like about 3000 calories (and that is being generous depending on what you get at the restaurants). You will probably need to start counting calories to figure out how many you should be eating to gain weight.
