P90X-Day Seven on the Nutrition Plan
I actually have two questions.

#1. Since day seven is a rest day, should we cut back on the caloric intake? The check off sheet for the portion plan only has six days with no explanation on what to do on day seven.

#2. Is there a particular type of fruit sorbet that we are allowed to have? Eight ounces seems like a lot for a single snack serving and there seems to be a large amount of sugar in the ones that I have seen. Don't get me wrong, it tastes really good, but I just don't want to screw up my results.

Thanks,
Joey

Personally, I just drop the shakes and drop the formula and just eat the food on this day 7. The whole plan accounts for a 600 cal. burn during workout and streching or resting just won't get you near that b/c it's 600 cal. on top of what your body will naturally burn. Hence rest = no additional cal burn. Plus skipping the formula and shakes saves money!

But get right back to thoes drinks and formula's on day 1 again! becuase you'll need it!

Yes, just drop the recovery formula. Other then that, keep all the food. The calories will help with recovery and maybe any starvation mode that might be knocking.

As for the sorbet, that's the right amount and any fruit is fine, but you don't need to eat it. You can always have another snack.
