Protein portions are generally raw -- but ham or similar will obviously be cooked.
If you can't afford recovery formula, you can make your own.

I compared the labels of my GNC Whey Protein powder to the Recovery Drink Formula and the numbers are scary to say the least. Long story short, too much protein and not enough carbs and sugar in my drink. I'm going to purchase something on the cheap ASAP and just as well that I realized this at the start of my 3rd Phase becasue the workouts are changing up and the diet is doing so as well, so it's only beneficial that I found the last piece of this puzzle to making sure this program works for me.
