Round 1 Complete - Feedback Appreciated!
Showing 12 results.
Hi everyone,

Well Round 1 of P90x has been completed. It's amazing how far you can go in just 90 days of doing the workouts. I eat better, I sleep better and my life is just better overall.

I'm debating whether to do a round 2 of P90x. I really have an image of what I would like my body to eventually look like and your feedback is greatly appreciated. I'm slim but I want to put on a bit more of muscle. My ideal weight would be 170 - 175ish.

Starting Weight - 165lbs @ 11.5% body fat
Current Weight - 160lbs @ 6% body fat

Day 1

Day 10

Day 30

Day 60

Day 90

Thank you for looking.
Happy Holidays.

Sean

Wow! Nice job! You did start out where a lot would like to end in 90 days, but your 90 day results are amazing. You really show what 90 days of being committed can do. Congrats. You will definitely be an inspiration to others who are considering P90X! I am finishing round 2 of P90X on Xmas Eve. I will start P90X+ in January after a well deserved 2 week break. If you are interested, we have a group that post under P90X Complete! Anyone for round 2?? by joe36k Check it out and join us if you'd like.

Thanks both of you emoticon It made my night!!!

Alphasl, I will definitely check it out. How much different is P90x+? I will be honest when I say I haven't researched it too much. I'd love to have a group of people to start round 2 with to keep me going. I also play hockey, so I noticed myself slacking a little bit during the week. I'd love a group to work off and stay motivated with! Is the P90x+ worth purchasing? I owe myself a nice Christmas present.

I just received P90X+ yesterday. I haven't looked at it but I think it is alot tougher than P90X. The first three weeks are all new workouts with the exclusion of Yoga from the P90X series. I personally do the Fountain of Youth Yoga w/ Tony Horton from the One on One series. It is 45 minutes long compared to the 90 minutes of Yoga X. It is available on this site for $19.95 and is worth every penny. Yes, you do owe yourself a nice Xmas present, but from your pics, it looks like you already gave your self a pretty good present. Keep pressing play!

Thanks alphasl, it looks like your kicking some serious behind too! I'm interested in the fountain of youth yoga. I always find myself cutting the 90 minute yoga workout down to 60mins and sometimes even less than that. I know I shouldn't, but I just find it so difficult even after all of the times that I've done it to get into a solid groove. Perhaps I need to train better mentally but I just find trouble clearing my head of all the junk that I have to do when I'm done so I can't get into the zone.

The fountain of youth yoga is a separate CD? I will definitely take a look at that. P90x+ sounds like it's right up my alley. It's amazing to see what you did on day 1 compared to what you can do now. Personally, on reverse grip chin-ups, I started out only being able to do a set of 3 or 4 without stopping. Now I can hammer out 20-25 per set no problem.

You sure are kicking some major tail, great job and keep up the awesome work! Finish strong, Christmas Eve is almost here!

Thanks for the comments! I do a few things different than some people that makes it easier for me. I always do Ab Ripper X before my resistance training so that I am able to give it everything I have before I am maxxed out from the workout. I started with the pull ups and chin ups like you and before long I was up to 15 per set for back & legs and maybe a few less when I was doing chest & back. I can do about 20 now with good form. I do have a copy of a good basic diet in an Excel program if you would like it. It gives the amount of protein, calories and even where to purchase the food. You would have to send me an message with your email on it because I can't seem to attach anything in message area of this site.
Let me know if you decide to do another P90x or go for the P90X Plus like I am doing.

I am glad you like the group on joe36k's thread, they are the best.

Thanks emoticon Good luck. The first month is definitely the toughest - both with exercising and changing your eating habits. Just push through that wall and you will see the light on the other end. If you get discouraged, come here to the boards and talk with other members that are feeling the same way you are and talk to those that have been in your shoes.

You will do great, as tony says just "BRING IT!"

Perri

Thank you Perri, I truly appreciate it emoticon

If there is anything I can help you with that you might have questions on - diet, exercises, nutrition, etc. please feel free to ask. If you'd rather shoot me a private message that is fine too.

I created a meal plan that can be at least used as a base for people to use. I spend about $80/wk on food and only cycle a few meals throughout my diet.

Best of luck this week, let me know when you get started. Also, don't forget to take before pictures so you have something to track your results and push you on those days you don't feel like pressing play!
