Hi, I am new here but I have been with BeachBody for a while now. I was thinking about taking on P90X. I noticed a lot of threads on here, but I can't manage to find any women results. If there are any ladies on here that wouldn't mind sharing your results with me, could you show me? I just would like to see the reults that women get from P90X.

All of the men on here have had great results.

Hi Candym28! I haven't posted my pics yet but I can tell you that since 12/26/09, I've lost 9 lbs. I've also lost 2 1/2" off my waist, 1 1/2 off my hips and 1" off my thighs. It works and it works WONDERS. I love seeing the results week to week with P90X. I don't know what program you're doing now, but if you want to cut fat and tone muscle, this one is going to do it for you as long as you do it.

Thats awesome! I'm so happy to see a woman's successful results! I'm on week two, but I need encouragement that I'll be seeing results after 90 days. Thanks!

which program is better to do? i started on classic but think about moving on lean beacuase i bulk up quick and want to tlose around 20-30 lbs and do you really need to take in as many calories as suggested I try to stay around 1200. any suggestions would be great... thanks emoticon

I was curious about that too. I started on on classic with my boyfriend too and was wanting more cardio, so I switched to lean. I'm definitely noticing a difference on working the parts of my body that I want gone! lol I tend to bulk up too, so this is a great option! And I also read into the calories and apparently we're supposed to eat the suggested calories because we're burning SO many more with P90X, that our bodies wont be able to loose the weight without enough calories. What will happen, is our bodies will eat the lean muscle we created if we dont eat enough of the right number of calories...hope that helps! =) Best of luck to you!

Hey there you guys! If you really want the results I suggest doing classic. Building muscles burns more fat than cardio alone. and if you crave more cardio give Doubles a try. Its just the classic with an added cardio workout on your resistance days. I did it durring my second phase and loved it. from what I have seen people loose more weight on classic than they do on Lean.
I wouldnt worry about bulking up, womens muscles dont get too big. Durring my first 90 days I got some great definition but not bulky at all. It takes some intense body building for women to get the bulky muscles you are probably picturing.

also... (it all depends on you height, weight, age, ect. but) you mostlikely are going to need alot more calories that 1200 a day. I personally am supposed to be taking in 2400 calories. I cant seem to get that much food in me so I usually dont go much over 2000 a day. this isnt a starve yourself diet, this is about eating the right foods in the right amounts to full your body and make it burn fat faster. ITs all about ramping up the motablism.

hi , i too started with p90x on 22 jan10, just started with my second week. I am doing the lean routine as i also wanted to shed some real weight.my flexibility and stamina are improving and so are some muscle defination over my arms and deltoid, but no actual weight loss. well i would really want to have a work out buddy to share the day to day workout and keep the spirit high !!

Hello I started p90 x in march of 2009 I'm 5' 7''and 34 years old. I've gone from 250 to 165 as of Jan 10 1010. I did two rounds of lean and have started my first round of classic. I've gone from a size 26 to a 12 and am very very happy with the results.

i started on the 24th finished my first week and feel great, think i way switch to doubles after week three to get more cardio...i am going back to the gym after feb. 1st (took a break because of back problems) but i love doing PX90 at home, the gym is so competitive and crowded, will probably just go back for spin classes. i don't think i look any different but it has only been a week. how is it going for you? how is your diet?

I didnt diet.. I ate heathy. (In my mind if I call it a diet, it will only last a week) Eating mainly meats veggies and fruits with a few carbs thrown in. and as for the drinking alcohol no I didnt... but Im not a big drinker so I didnt have a problem with it. If you want great results I wouldnt suggest drinking it. Other than that just work hard! Push play everyday. And when you feel you dont have the energy to do a workout... Do it anyway!! emoticon

Hi Ladies...Just passing through!

I am due to take my 30 days photos later today with my husband.
We start Phase 2 Lean in the AM.

I was impatient (3 weeks ago) and could feel the changes to my body..especially my mid-section ...so I snuck-in pics on the 7th DAY

So since I do not have my 30 days to post...
here is what this program did in just the FIRST 7 DAYS!emoticon

you must have done some thing different , well are you doing the lean version or classic version, and are you sticking to the diet or following a separate routine.and at the end are you working out your mid section more like more of ab ripper x ..eagerly waiting

Hey there...No, I have to tell you I am doing nothing more than is being asked of us.
I am on the LEAN Program..and the only thing I can tell you that I do that not everyone does..is I do the Stretch X on my Rest Day.

I am a firm believer in the STRETCH. I always have been. As a dancer in the past, I know the beauty to Ballerina's elongated bodies...are the strecthing their muscles after that muscle is used. That is how they create strength and length.

With this program...there really isn't that opportunity..unless we stop the dvd..after every movement..LOL. which would be silly...So I do pause when we stretch at the end...and go longer on the strethes.

And that one hour of X-Stretch (on my Sundays)..is a blessing. Gets my body ready for the week.

I am on the Nutirtion Plan. Not doing the recipes out of the book..But tracking my Protein/Carb/Fat intake on www.livestrong.com under "My Plate"..I love this program, it is free, and it shows the %'s P90X requests right on my own colored Pie Chart.

Today is Day 1 of Phase 2.. 5th Week..So I move the Proteins and Carbs to equal levels..
I actually had a bowl of cereal this AM..for the 1st time in 30 days. Wow!

Keep up the good work. I read from the "focus/test group" that the woman saw their greatest and most obvious results between day 60-75. So it is working..we just have to be patient. I compare it to 9 months of pregnancy..this is only one trimester....this I can do..Not sure I could do a third pregnancy though! LOL

If you are on Facebook...their are two GREAT groups over there as well...that have awesome feedback to each other...Just a suggestion...Keep it up!

thank you so much for your input.I am also doign the lean version but i have not seen such a change in my midsection and was kind of upset because i gained weight instead of loosing it in my first week and well my mid section looks the same as it was on day 1 except i feel some muscle definition though and the work outs are becoming more difficult in the sec week.
well out of the 5 pounds i gained in my first week i am now down by 4 pounds now, so basically i am 1 pound more than what i started. well i am also doing my strech i really love it. i am on the face book on the P90X - 01/25/2010 thread ..

Well I started Jan3 and here are my pics. I have to say I'm surprise especially with my stomach because I can barely get thru ab ripper x. I'm on week 5 and my clothes are definitely fitting differently. more room in my jeans.
