I think I'm starting on Monday too. I've done the Slim in 6 program before but it's been a long time, so it will be like starting over. It really works... but I just gave up on it and ended up right back where I started. I'm ready to do this and make a life style change. I'd love to start it with you guys.

I'm starting tomorrow as well... I've done SI6 off and on for many years, but it's been a while!

I have a fifteen month old son, weighed 162 at 5'7'" when I got pregnant with him. Gained about 40 pounds, and through breastfeeding, got down to 150. But, at 7 months old, my milk dried up and we switched to formula. Now I'm up to 168 due to bad food choices, nightly cocktails to relax and unwind, and a lack of exercise. emoticon So mad at myself for not keeping that weight off!!!

Anyway, glad to be joining you. I will actually be doing SI6 M-F only, on Saturdays I have a 1 hour workout in a kettlebell class so that will replace my saturday si6 workout.

Alright ladies I just finished Start It Up and I must say I am out of shape. I use to be able to do it like nothing and I was breathing so hard. After I felt light-headed, it sucked. But I'm going to keep it up I want some good results.

Hope the workouts go well emoticon

Hi! I am starting tomorow as well. I am excited but alittle intimidated by it as well. I have gained 10lbs since the holidays and want to loose about 20-25lbs and tone up all over. I have the post C-section belly that I am hoping to get back into shape. My daughter is 2yrs old and I still havn't got to where I hoped I would be by now. Good luck tomorrow everyone! I will post my stats tomorrow...I'm dreading seeing the numbers :-)

I am glad I found this thread this morning. After the holidays, 4 birthday celebrations (including my and my spouses) and the Superbowl eating frenzy my weigh has soared to new heights. This morning I stepped on the scale to a jaw dropping 202 lbs…emoticon another stat I am 5’8” and wear a 16….more stats to come

I have had Slim in 6 for a few years now, but have not fully completed the 6 week workout since the initial purchase about 5 years ago. That first round was great, lost about 16 lbs and I found great support on the message boards, so I look forward to that support and motivation this time around.

My goal is to get back in shape, get back into a healthier lifestyle and hopefully burn a bunch fat and tone up in the process.

Although I was not intending on starting today, there is no time like the present. So after work I will go home and press play.

I will keep you posted.

Hi, how did everyone's first day go? I stuck to my diet with difficulty. I just completed my first work out...start it up. I was not expecting it to be so difficult. Does any one know how many days you are suppose to do start it up before moving on?

Hi All - My name is Donna and I started Slim in 6 last Friday, 2/5. I did 3 days of Start It Up and did the Ramp It Up this morning 6:00 am. It was difficult but I will keep going. I will be 50 in September and my goal is to be FIT n' FIFTY!! I have noticed that even tho I am watching the calories (I am sticking to the sample menus in the stuff they sent) the scale has gone up. It's a little frustrating! Do you all weigh yourself daily? Thanks and good luck to all.

I did Start it Up, but my eating left alot to be desired. It's by far the hardest thing, esp when I have a husband who is all about junk food and will never change. I just have to learn to stay away from it.

You do Start it Up for 1 week, Ramp it Up for 2 weeks, Burn it up for 3. and you get one rest day a week. I didn't think the workout was too bad, I actually did it twice last week. I will tell you this, day 3, you get really sore. PUSH THROUGH IT on day 4 and it will go away faster. Coming from someone who has done SI6 several times! LOL

Donna, initially with SI6 the scale does go up. It's because you are getting little tiny microtears in the muscle, and they hold water. You will see that weight fall off in week 3 or 4.

Thanks for that quick answer! I will hang in there and push the play button every day and not get so hung up by that "number" on the scale.

Well today was day 2 for me. Start it up was whole lot better today. I was a bit sore, but ok. I think I'll do Start it Up for the first week then Ramp it Up next week. I just want to make sure my body is ready.

I ate a turkey hot dog today, some a bit of beans and some apple sauce. Dinner a salad with chicken breast, tasty.

I'll be in Austin for a technology convention starting tomorrow until Friday and I'm taking SI6 along with me.

I'll post tomorrow ladies. Hope today went well emoticon

Hey Ladies,

I just started my S16 today too! I have had it since last year and just finally cracked it open! However, I don't seem to have the schedule to follow the workouts! It's a 6 week program, so how long do you actually do Start it UP, Ramp it Up and Burn it Up?? Would someone be so kind as to let me know! I just finished the Start it UP and it was not easy!! I guess I am really out of shape!

I am 5'11", and weigh 186 pounds. I am 43 years old and I live in Eastern Canada! Pretty cold here with lots of snow!

Would love to be a part of this group of ladies so we can all motivate each other! I really would like to drop another 15-20 pounds. I have lost 14 pounds since September...not easy though.

Have a great evening!

Brenda

It is such a great program..keep pushing plan and eating clean and healthy and you will see results. I promise! Burn in Up tonight for me...its a great workout! No regrets..push play results will come :-)

Hi! I'm new and began yesterday...I am training for a 5K on Feb.28th as well...I want to lose 25 lbs. I fell off the wagon big time and after being within 3 pounds of my goal weight (140), I gained it all back emoticon! So, I weighed myself yesterday and found out I have gained 12 lbs since July! Anyway, I'm really happy to have found this board, I've never done this posting thing before...good luck to all!
