First Week of 2nd Month of INSANITY..STRUGGLING!! HELP!!
I just started week one of my second month of INSANITY. I am really struggling getting through the workouts. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I feel like I dont have the energy to do the workouts. The cardio dvd is fun, I really enjoy it. The others are so long I struggle staying with it for an hour...or 55 to 57 minutes. I get kinda of sick of doing the same things over and over like the first month..i push through most of them so far but they are very hard. I guess I just need some encouraging from someone who has gone through this...

Any advice out there woulud be great!

Hi, there! Congrats on making it to the 2nd Month of Insanity! It's tough, but U made it!

Now....the workouts are supposed to be really hard. I'm in my 2nd round, and Month 2 is just around the corner, and I fully expect it to kick my arse yet again!

If it's a question of monotony..I think every program gets like that after awhile. What works for me is to just focus on getting better, improving my form and doing more reps. U have to challenge urself mentally to improve, otherwise it will get boring. But I think that's with a lot of things.

Also...if U R feeling like U don't have the energy to get through the workouts..it could be a calorie problem. Not eating enough can definitely impact ur motivation and ur mental state during the workouts. I found that in the 2nd Month, I had to bump up my calories a bit to compensate for the extra energy expediture.
