Hey, I'm Sean, 18 years old, a senior in high school, and I started p90x 2 weeks ago. When I started this, I was 5 foot 5, and only 105 pounds. I started this program so that I could build muscle and gain weight before heading off to college. The problem is that I have always had a really quick metabolism, so gaining weight and building muscle are difficult for me, no matter how hard I try. If any one has any advice at all I would really appreciate this.
This is basically how my daily eating schedule goes on all days.

Morning- Bagel or cereal with milk.
Lunch- Chicken ceasar wrap with lettuce and milk.
Afternoon- (Musclemilk) half hour before starting p90x, and half hour after finishing.
Dinner- Either of these, chicken and rice, steak, cheeseburgers, chilli, with milk.

If anyone has any adive, at all, about anything that can help me accomplish my goals it would really help. Thank you so much!

Hey Sean:
For guys in your situation, they recommend that you eat a surplus of calories (no deficit)...but slowly and carefully as you don't want to get fat gain.

For lifting, you should be shooting for failure in the 6-8 rep range to gain mass.

There's a really good thread called 'scrawny to brawny' that will probably give you other ideas, and there's some great before and after pics there.

The muscle milk product that you are taking IS for weight gain. But you are going to need to get more calories in (and of course preferably good healthy food). Look at level II and Level III "portion approach plan" in the p90x nutrition guide for lists of food that can help you.

Good luck on your adventure in the "X"! emoticon
