RE: Shakeology and Thyroid problems
I'm a Beachbody coach and one of the girls I'm working with now has had post pregnancy thyroid problems. I'm wondering if anyone has had success stories about drinking Shakeology and it helping them loose with a thyroid problem.

Any help would be awesome!

From what I heard about shakeology from a recent briefing from 2 reputable beachbody coaches who went to Hawaii and heard Carl's wife discuss SHakeology, they talked about how it helps with hormonal balance, I think its worth a try to suggest it.

I forgot to mention that in late Fall, I had my thyroid tested and some numbers were concerning to my doctor that indicated I was hypothydroid (underactive). At my age, I was looking to blame something as to why I wasn't losing weight a little faster than I was. The dr. prescribed a supplemental T3/T4 compound. Before my next visit, I came completely off the pills one month prior to my blood test (I ran out and didn't renew). I was taking shakeology faithfully each day replacing one meal/day and my blood test came back normal. I no longer needed to supplement my T3/T4. I hope that helps.

peaches65 - how far was your thyroid off when you were tested? I do want to start using Shakeology, but have a concern. I had issues with my Thyroid for years, but had it under control, until I became menopausal. Everything went out of wack, and it stopped working completely. I was also put on Levitra for Fibromyalgia, so between the 3 issues, I gained a bunch of weight back (I previously did P90 and did great! - and Levitra increases your appetite big time.) We finally got everything under control, I'm doing P90 again, and losing weight, but I'm afraid to end up back at square one, and mess with my system by adding something different. My next thyroid check up is mid June, and I'm going to take the nutrition print out with me to see what he says.

Hi - I have a thyroid problem and spent years searching out Dr's and getting the right meds for me.. etc. Even with the best medication for my body, I still didn't feel 100% until I started drinking Shakeology every day. I am so Happy to have found this shake and I drink it daily. I feel like myself again for the first time in years. Very VERY happy with Shakeology!!!
