30 days....no results?
30 days....no results?

I've been doing insanity for 30 days in vain. No physical results at all! No weight loss, no inches lost, no muscle tone? I've been following the diet 90-95% of the time and haven't skipped one workout. I want to give up on it. What am I doing wrong?

It's hard to say what the issue is. What is your intensity when doing the workouts? are you sweating & tired after? Are you eating the right amount of calories?

It is completely impossible for there to be no change when a hard exercise routine is introduced and the approriate calories are consumed. It's just biologically impossible.

did you workout 6 times a week prior to doing Insanity? what is your weight and height?

I have to disagree. There are plenty of people on here who have said that they didnt have any change/better results until in the last month/weeks.

Are you at least pulling better numbers on your fit tests? If you arent pulling better numbers on the fit test then there seriously is something wrong. But if you are pulling better numbers I wouldnt worry to much about it. Just finish it out.

Also, did you take before and during photos of yourself? Most people cant see/tell any change from day to day until they have half naked before/during/after photos side by side.

I recomend finishing it out. The most results come in the last month. And hey, if you dont have results then get your money back...but I highly doubt you wont have any once its fully completed.

Definately DO NOT GIVE UP! On week 3 I gained 15 lbs! And a week later it was gone again emoticon I'm finishing up my Round 1 Today (5/8) and I am now down 10 lbs from my starting point 153 to 142.8... It is strange that you haven't seen any improvement, especially if you are following the diet like you said. I think this is great advice that everyone else has given here...take a look at your before pics and see what changes you see now in the mirror.

I'm sending you a buddy request though...maybe I can help you trouble shoot, having just been through this! emoticon I also have up a survival thread too...so if you want to take a look at that, I'm starting round 2 tomorrow.

Hope to hear from you soon! But if not, good luck!

This is my first time posting, I've been kinda just browsing the message board. I just wanted to respond to you because I understand how you feel. However I will have to agree with most of the people on here who say if you're working out, you're already making a change. Working out with Insanity HAS to be better than not doing anything at all. I am no expert but from what I hear and read, it's harder to loose pounds the closer to your goal you are. For instance, if you are not that overweight to begin with, the harder it is to loose weight. I am only about 15 lbs over what I want to be and it is SOOO hard to loose those pounds. I may loose 1-2 one week and just gain it back the next. So from what most people say, the scale is not the sure way to show you're making progress. And even if you're not loosing the inches like you say, you seem to be on top of the workouts and your diet, so logically you HAVE to be making a change. Even if it's not physically that noticable yet, you have to be more healthy! Like others have asked, how are your fit tests results chaning? I am not seeing much with the scale or inches myself, however I definitely am pulling better results in my fit tests. So don't get so discouraged, the change will come. I think we all want quick changes, because that's what helps us feel we aren't just doing these crazy workouts for nothing. I only say this because I know how that feels first hand. However a lot of people say that real change comes slowly and that the majority of your body changes will come in the second month. I just finished up the first week of month two and haven't made any progress on the scale so far. But I know something has to be changing because I am able to keep up with the workouts a little better and I just feel better inside. Anyway I seem to be rambling, so just stay strong and hang in there. You will be rewarded in the end!!
