Good Morning Divas!!!!!

Just finished up in WOWY with a great workout and I am a sweaty mess! I love it! I am on week 3 of my TJ/P90M rotation and I think it is doing me some good. The scale is moving and I am feeling stronger each day.

Char Thanks for welcoming me to the team. I am so excited about being a coach! I have been doing TONS of reading and studying and talking to Ange cause I am gonna rock this thing right! Thanks also for the compliments on my progress thus far. It took a minute for me to post them pics but once I saw them for myself, I was like "Ok girl, I see it". I can already see my "After" photo and that is driving me like crazy.

Oh, also a great job is in order for you too! Having an "AH Ha" moment is a wonderful thing. It shows that you are bringing it to the mat and bringing in the kitchen with the eats. Once those two things line up with your fitness program that is the GOLDEN TICKET!!!! and you have it. Rock it girl!!!

Well as you all can see I have changed my username to "FitnessbyFaith". Hope I didn't confuse anyone. I started this journey as a total faith walk and that is exacty what I am going to need to see it thru! So this username (as well as my last one) is always my constant reminder of where my strength comes fromemoticon

GOOD MORNING DIVAAAAAAAAAS

I just wanted to pop in and give a quick shout out to my newest TEMMEMBERS and COACHES, Cami and Tanasha. You ladies will NOT be disappointed with your decisions. In just this short month, the relationships I've build and the people I've helped have propelled me to new hights in my quest to help others build a foundation of fitness. Way to go!!

I got in my Burn Circuit 1 workout this morning at the buttcrack of dawnemoticonemoticon For some reason, it took my body a while to get warmed up this morning, but once I did, there was NO STOPPING meemoticon. After the workout, I followed up with a nice thick glass of shakeology (with coffee mixed in, of course) and it was off to catch my vanpool.

The Body Gospel launch event this weekend was AMAZING. I can't wait to share this program, especially to those who base their lives on a foundation of FAITH. What a wonderful thing Beachbody has done, taking a leap of faith with this program.

Ok ladies, have a WONDERFUL day.

THAT DANCE AND BE FIT WORKOUT I DID IS ON FIT TV ON CABLE. I JUST DVR IT AND SET IT SO THAT IT CAN'T BE ERASED UNTIL I ERASE IT. IT IS A FUN LITTLE DANCE ROUTINE THAT USES ALOT OF CORE, HIP AND BUTT MOVEMENTS. ANOTHER ONE THAT IS HARDER THAN IT LOOKS BUT IT'S FUN!!!!!

I recorded off of Fit TV this weekend myself. That guy Gilad was doing a squat workout that looked interesting. Today is Round 2, Phase 2 of P90X. I got one of those stickers made at the mall this weekend. I'm rocking a P90X sticker on my car now.

BTW, GO SEE KARATE KID. IT WAS GREAT!!!

edoris- I LOVe the fit channel. I TV basicly stays on that channel. My Fav is Cathe Friedrich!!! That woman is a machine. I have been a big fan of her workouts for years. Actually, before I got into P90X workouts I fell in love with her workouts. Where did you get a P90X sticker for you car. I WANT ONE!!!

Toni- thanks for the warm welcome to the team. I am sure it is a decision that I won't regret. I love beachbody and I firmly stand by beachbody and I believe in the products. I am always talking to who ever that will listen about beachbody and how life changing it is. When people ask me about the workouts and if it works or not. I say "YEAH IT WORKS GREAT! BUT IT WON'T WORK IF IT SITS ON YOUR SHELF!" "YOU GOTTA PUSH PLAY AND MOVE YOUR BODY IN ORDER FOR IT TO WORK!"

I wanted to post what I have in my lunch bag today.

I got it made at one of the sticker making kiosks at the mall. They were able to access the logo from google and simply make it off the logo.

So you use jack3d, I've heard a lot about it. Is that thru Nutrishop?

Fit Test #2 Done today. Here's my results: I thought I miscounted the power knees the first time but when I did it again (before the stretch) on the left leg I was close so I don't know.

I hope everyone had a nice weekend...I missed the message board while I was gone in NY. I think I'm officially attached lol, I didnt bring my computer so I asked my friend to use his computer to check on the board. When I told him I wanted to use it to check on my P90x friends he thought I was obsessed and that I had issues. Anywho, I missed you all this weekend emoticon

I didn't do too bad in NY this weekend. I got off plan a little, on Friday I had some grey goose (no juice) and Saturday had some rice and chicken from a cookout. Besides that, I did pretty well, I brought a lot of stuff with me and bought some healthy stuff while I was there as well. I'm back home in RI now and ready to bring it even more!!

Fitmama - how do you feel about cardiox? I've never done it, I'm going to try it tomorrow but I heard it was the least intense workout. Do you find it challenging enough? Do you think you burn a lot of calories? Also, I'm still jealous of your delicious looking food and think ima need to step my food game up. I eat the same thing day in and day out.

Congrats to all the ladies who decided to become coaches!! The thought of being able to help someone else with their fitness goals sounds really great!

Danielle - Congrats on your results! You look great!

Hey Divas,

So like I previously posted, I got some cookbooks and healthy recipes that I'm dying to try. However, I'm not going to do that for at least another week or two- reason being.... I have so much food in my fridge- I need to get rid of this stuff. So I'm going to have to create a meal plan for the next 2 weeks surrounding the foods that I currently have in my home. I can't by anything else b/c my fridge/freezer is completely stocked. LOL. So when I'm out of my current stash- I'll start working on my new healthy diet book. No worries- the foods I have are really healthy.

So I've been taking notes on what I've been told so lets see if I'm on the right track- feel free to add something.

1. Drink tons of water- I think I drink just under a gallon per day- I don't drink and juice or soda.
2. 100% whole wheat/ multigrain crackers/breads (white bread is nasty to me now-lol)
3. Have protein w/ each meal (soy, tofu, meat/poultry, beans etc- I got it)
4. Eat tons of veggies ( I gotta increase my veggie intake- but I'm doing pretty good)
5. Eat my fruits & carbs earlier in the day ( I can definitely do that)
6. Cut back on sugary stuff (ex: honey and protien bars- I will try to eat 1/2 bar instead of a whole one)j
7. Add 3-4oz of protien to my salad to make it into a meal
8. Eat after your workout (I usually have a shake w/almond milk and various fruits & flaxseed- that's ok right?)
9. Eat 5-6 times per day to keep metabolism going.

My daily caloric intake is 1500-1600 per day. Is that ok for someone who's doing Insanity?

On another note- I'm officially in my Recovery week with INSANITY. LOL. I'm counting down & dreading entering Month 2. emoticonemoticonemoticon

I’m starting to like CardioX very much. It’s about 43 minutes and has little bit of everything (Kenpo, Plyo, and Core). It also has 10 minutes Yoga which I don’t mind at all now. I cannot speak for everyone but I definitely feel that I burn a lot of calories whenever I do cardioX. I don’t have a heart rate monitor yet (I know I know shame on me) by the time I get through wacky jacks I have to slow down. My husband is a different story and doesn’t like it at all. I think it’s because of the yoga.

What make you decide to do CardioX now emoticon, are you doing the doubles program? The reason I started doing it is because I’m not a fan of yoga. I just start doing yoga last week for 35 minutes now. Good Luck tomorrow and let us know how it was?

Hi Ladies!!

I'm still grinding it out on p90x and insanity!

My apologies for being out of touch. I've been trying to keep myself organized and sticking to my routine. Since I started over after getting a cold, I had to refocus my energies on sticking to the routine. It's taken a of my attention over the past few weeks. I hear it takes 3 weeks to get in or out of a routine, so I'm just about there!

On a side note, I've been having a pain in my foot during intense exercise, and I can't figure out how to stretch whatever muscle that is before I start. Wondering if anyone can help. I'm flat footed, and the pain is where most people have the arch in their foot. the middle. I could get through my insanity workouts if it wasnt for that ache that pops up after power jumps. I'm getting tired of constantly nursing it in the middle of the routine. Suggestions appreciated! I hear potassium helps, so for now, I've bought lots of bananas to add to my whey protein shakes.

Also, for those of you who remember my last planner that I posted, I made a new one for the rest of the year (June 2010 thru Dec 2010. If you're looking for one to print out and bind, I've posted it up. You can download it for free, of course.

I changed some of the features. these include:

Edorice - well, while we are on the topic of strange...I was at a bar on Saturday and a P90X infomercial came on and it made me extremely excited..once again my friends just looked at me like I was weird and didn't get why I was suddenly so much happier.

Fitmama - Thanks for the info! And you can kinda say im doing P90x doubles, but Im doing it my way lol, basically I'm just trying to do as much additional cardio as I can. I usually do the cardio intervals DVD that came as a bonus a few times a week. I add it in on 2 of the weight days (I usually don't have time to add it in on the 3rd day) and my rest day. I've been thinking about cardioX because I want to add more variety so I figured I should try it. I'll let you know how it goes. Tomorrow I'm going to do cardioX and yoga. I also don't like yoga much but I give it the benefit of the doubt lol.

I am up and ready for another wonderful day! For some reason my alarm clock DID NOT go off this morning. I had it set for 430am (as usual) and I woke up around 5ish. I don't know what's up with that but I got up and got Sculpt 5/6 done. I was really struggling this morning. I went to bed at like 930pm. That is really early for me. I am wondering if I got too much sleep? I usually am in bed around 10-11pm. Well, I felt sluggish thru the workout and I even feel like I can go back to bed now. That is so strange to me. That hardest thing was I pushed through and worked hard during my workout. That is really difficult being that I could not shake the sluggish feeling I just had to work thru it! Well, I am glad I got it in and I did work hard so I will just have to monitor my sleep patterns to see what's up.

Well, today I will be working with my hubby at the trophy shopemoticon so it will be a busy day for me.

Browne Looks like you have taken great notesemoticon The only thing that I would add is that if you are watching your carb intake (I'm not sure if you said you were) you have to modify your amount of bread intake whether is is whole wheat/multi-grain cause those are still quite high in carbs. But yes, that is an excellent choice and whole wheat/multi-grain is better for you. I also try to stay away from foods with more than 10 sugars. Did you get a chance to check out those pure protein bars? They are a really good snack and they have 2 sugars or less. Check it out. You are doing such an awesome job and I am so exciting to follow your results!!!


P26 So good to hear from you and to know that you are still bringing it with the workouts. Have you noticed any results yet since you started? Thanks for the planner. I downloaded the first one you posted and I use it too! I love the shopping listemoticon

That is exactly what happens when you are doing something that you are passionate about! Hopefully, your passion will start to rub off on your friends and they won't think that it is strange.
