I believe Joe and I will be doing Tai Chi at about that time in the morning! :-) We're going to do our first Tai Chi sesh today, then tomorrow morning. We will see how we like it before we commit to it all the time though.

Feeling the urge to snack?

Grab a pomegranate! You'll feel like you've eaten a lot because it takes a bit of work to get the power packed jewels out of their skin, but YUM!!! I just bought the first pom of the season and it did NOT disappoint!

Its scheduled to be here tomorrow! WOW!!! I can hardly wait... I'm daydreaming of sweat dripping, weird!

I would LOVE for anyone new to Turbo Fire to join me!! (Any program for that matter)

I did P90 Sculpt today, sometimes with 12.5 lb weights! I am so happy with the Bow Flex SelectTech weights WOW! Best purchase of last year for sure!

Diet has been awesome today as well. Oatmeal with a scoop of PB for breakfast, 1/2 cup pink grapefruit a.m. snack, 1 cup broccoli and 1 cup cooked turkey for lunch. Next up, POMEGRANATE! YUM!

LOG THOSE CALORIES!

I found a very cool, user friendly app to use to count those calories. It's actually fun to use and has an amazing selection of store brands and even restaurant meals pre-programmed already!

Just by making sure not to exceed 1600 calories a day I am consistently losing 2-3 lbs a week. JUST BY PAYING ATTENTION!!! emoticon

Physical AND Mental

I have to admit I get JUST as many mental benefits as I do physical when I get up early to push play...

For one, it's the only "Mommy ME Time" I get and the rest of the day starts on a more calm, yet energized note. I find I have more patience and clarity than on days that I miss my workout.

How about you? Do you exercise just as much for the mental perks?

Does anyone else get caught up in having an "All or Nothing" attitude?

This is a pattern of self-sabotage I noticed in myself during the last year. I had the thought, "Well, EVERYTHING has to be JUST right here. IF I workout, I'll make sure to eat right and drink plenty of water" Then days where I wasn't motivated to push play, I'd eat terribly, not be hydrated and eventually I'd end up thinking "Oh well, better luck next week." Then I'd start over Monday and do the same thing by Wednesday!?!? ACKKK!

Then it occurred to me, how about:

ALL OR SOMETHING???

Wow... what an eye opener for me (and I thank my husband for so eloquently pointing that out to me. If you're down for a day, it's ok... pick yourself back up and go! One bad day? No biggie, we all have them... GET BACK UP AND GO!

Don't stop til you reach your goal! Together we can totally do this!

I love your quotes!!! I don't have any quotes to add, but I have alot of enthusiasm to spread around...hope that counts!!

Tonight I did Cardio Party 1....WOW!!! I forgot what a great workout that was. Now I remember why I worked out all the time before!!emoticon Why in the world I ever stopped is beyond me...Oh well, that is the past...I'm in the present and looking at a bright future!

I hope your thread catches fire and burns up the boards!! I will be back to spread happiness around!!
