HIIT two days in a row?
HIIT two days in a row?
hiit turbo fire

I read all the book information and it says not to do Turbo Fire HIIT two days in a row or more than 3-4 times per week. So, my question is why can't we do HIIT two days in a row?

The reason I am asking is that I am in a situation where I have HIIT25 tonight, then supposed to do HIIT 15 on Wednesday, but I have to switch my break day due to a conflict. I would love nothing more than to do my 25 HIIT tonight, and do HIIT 15 tomorrow (or the other way around), but that's a no-no according to the program. Why?

Thanks in advance for the answer!

If you're looking for advice from the staff, please post over in the Nutrition or Fitness Forums in the Information & Education section. That's where we work.

But to answer your question, while HIIT is primarily cardio, it's hard enough on the body to break things down, so you need to allot for recovery time. If you give your body that time, ultimately, it'll mean better results.

Thanks. I was looking for an answer, but not necessarily from staff. Thanks, though.
