Insanity is a 6 day per week program - so yes, ALMOST every day.

Insanity is really designed for athletes that are looking to train pretty hard core. If you are just looking to lose a little baby weight, you may try something like Turbo Jam, Slim in 6, or Rockin' Body.

I have done a few of the Beachbody programs, but I can't quite get through Insanity yet. I'm not making any assumptions about your fitness level, but I can say without a doubt that Insanity is really for people who are already in really good shape.

Insanity is definitely not a beginner workout. I have been doing P90x and X+ for over a year and I find the insanity cardio very challenging. The group of people on the videos are all 20 something fitness trainers or similar all in tremendous shape and they all collapse at one point or another during the program. Build up to it.

Well I got out of the military in August, So I have somewhat of a good fitness level. But yes I agree, its very challenging. I am having a hard time making it through the whole work out, about 30 mins into it I am not able to do as much, I have reached muscle failure. Does it still count as a workout?

There's a lot to be said for a 30 minute workout that takes you to failure the way Insanity does. Absolutely it counts!

You don't have to do Insanity every day. You can structure a workout routine that suits your taste in training. If you wanted, for example, to do weight training twice a week and Insanity twice a week, that would work. Lot of possibilities.
