Tammy Goyes Won $1,000 in February 2007

After only a few weeks of P90X®, Tammy is feeling tighter and stronger then ever! Her body is more defined, and she's seeing muscles in places she's never seen them before. She is dying to wear her new set of tank tops, but it's too cold in the Windy City. However, it's hasn't been all fun and games since winning the $1,000 prize; Tammy has been suffering from debilitating digestive issues all summer. In and out of the hospital and unable to hold down food at times, she wasn't able to work out as intensely as she wanted. She said, "I felt really sad that I couldn't work out. It is such a part of my life, such a part of my routine, that when I can't do it, I really feel it. That's why I'm doing P90X now." Since recovering from her health problems, Tammy is leaning out, and her diet is "spot-on." Feeling fit and confident, Tammy issues the following statement to her competitors in the Grand Finale: "I've taken the intensity way up. I WANT IT! Everybody out there better be serious, because I'm in it to win it. I'm not playing."

Wants to win - June

Tammy continues to strive to new heights and is determined to win the grand prize. She is eating right and even has a new workout companion—her dog.

A year of transformation - February

Trapped in a cycle of binging, starving, exercising, and quitting, Tammy was at her lowest, both mentally and physically. She was even too embarrassed to tell her husband that her wedding ring no longer fit. Tammy decided, "Today is the day. I'm gonna start to live my life today." Committing to Slim in 6®, Tammy found encouragement through the Message Boards. She began to notice daily changes and can now proudly display her ring finger after losing an amazing 60 pounds.
