December 2011 Update.... Been a while... I'll make this short and sweet!!

Back in 2006 I was Obese and approaching my 40th birthday with well over 100 lbs of... well, let's just call it undesireable weight (some of us call it FAT!!) and fighting a losing battle with high blood pressure ...

I had tried and failed many times at my attempts to get fit and healthy... but then, shortly

Feb '09 Update...

"Hey", "I'm a Coach!!!!!!"

I would love to share my experience with Beachbody, and would like to help each and everyone one of you achieve your potential. It's not as hard as you think!!!, It just seems that way; it only took me 20 years of doing it wrong to figure it out... I don't want you to make my mistakes.

Email me and we can do this together (email link above - dalebramall@yahoo.com). I'll do my best to help you on your fitness journey, and by doing so, you'll help me stay on mine!!!

My Transformation Story:

O.K., I'm a fat!!! Lots of us are, and we like ourselves just the way we are; right? Well, I think we all (most of us) have said this right? Of course it's crap. I've been fat for almost all of my adult life. Every once in a while I'll find the motivation and get into better shape and then of course go back to being fat. Well "they" say that you get older you get wiser? right? actually yes on this one!! I'm 43 in January and not getting any younger so I must be getting smarter. I got into good shape a few of years ago only go slip once again. I bought a few dvd's on ebay (I can't even remember the exact name of them, but last year when I saw the p90x commercial, I said that's the guy; this was what I've been needing to help me get off my but and get moving again. It was kind of slow going at first, I was really sore and took some days off often in the beginning. I started with my 11 year old son who lasted 30 days, and then he couldn't keep up with the program. It was hard near the end, but I finished the program. I can see my abs comming back through now and that has motivated me to stick on a better eating schedule. I have been doing triathlons, and even though my weight isn't at my fittest, my performance is noticably better. I won my first triathlon ever and I was about 25 pounds over my goal weight. I'm looking forward to see how I can do when I do get there!! My performance has improved, and looks like it will keep getting better, and I'm no spring chicken... 42 going on 43 yet getting better? lets hope. I will hit my goal of 8% body fat by years end, that's my guarantee. When next year hits and I'm as fit (or fitter!!) than Tony (don't strike me dead) I should be smashing my personal bests in triathlons and 5ks.

UPDATE: I won December MDB game $10,000.00 !!!!!!!!!!! You motivated yet?

I can't tell you how excited I was/am, and I've been going 200 miles per hour since going for it all in the annual contest.

I entered the November contest, however didn't make it, but I was feeling great about myself, and I was making a serious push for the December contest when I was hit by a car during a duathlon (run/bike/run) race and sent to the hospital.

I received a head injury, many cuts, abrasions and a nice little scar on my face not to mention a broken foot!!! I immediately said, "there goes my shot at December", but after lying on that extremely painful backboard for 3 hours not fun! :( I came up with a plan to go for it.

I had made a promise to my my baby girl (Hailey - 4 years old). I was going to get and stay healthy and in shape and enjoy every minute I have with her.

Well fast forward several weeks and I'm in the gym on the eliptical because it kept my foot isolated and I was able to do the ripper and some Xstreatch.

The key was nutrition for me, I kept on an extremely clean eating plan, lost 10 pounds of fat and did all workouts I could do won me the December contest (haveing nearly a month off of work and able to WOWY at all times really kept me going - thanks for all of you :)

Fast forward a few more weeks and still in a straight shoe, was doing what I could to prepare for the annual contest. I have had my foot back since Dec 29th, but was told not to run on it for 2 - 3 weeks.

Now, I wouldn't recommend a car accident as part of a healthy transformation, but you got to play with the cards your delt.

I'm just glad one of those cards happened to be a little product/community/company/life-saver called BEACHBODY!!!!

Stay true to yourself, and you will get everything out of this product/company that you put into it.

Stay well, and enjoy the simple things in life :)
