Thank you Thank you Thank you.. and Happy 2012!

Here's a wee bit about my Beachbody/P90X journey and some background to boot.
I’ve always been in pretty good shape just because of my involvement with sports throughout the years. football/baseball, tennis, high school wrestling, college boxing, and then being a martial arts fanatic.

Here's a wee bit about my Beachbody/P90X journey and some background to boot.
I’ve always been in pretty good shape just because of my involvement with sports throughout the years. football/baseball, tennis, high school wrestling, college boxing, and then being a martial arts fanatic.
My workouts before were mainly bodyweight exeRcises promoted by Matt Furey in Combat Conditioning, Kettlebells with Pavel Tsastsouline and Clubbell and CST with Scott Sonnon..
One of my passions, I guess as we say them nowadays, in life has always been to improve myself in whatever I activity I engaged in... physically mentally, emotionally(ugh) and spiritually.
My travels have taken me to places near and far.I have lived and worked in Japan, Australia, Puerto Rico and Maui Hawaii & would like to someday live in France. I speak Japanese, a smidgin of French and am learning German & Russian.
I find that I really like to teach, and have always found great satisfaction in motivating people to achieve their goals and accomplish more than imagined.
Initially when teaching English in Japan, imparting the knowledge I have learned in various martial arts, and now as Personal Consultant with digitalwarrior.tv (fancy huh?)
My goal is to impart what I have found that works.
Maybe not for some, but hey, this is your journey, your quest..find what works for You! capishce?
I'm not a typical health coach I reckon. I don’t think in terms of losing weight I don’t do DiEtS I don’t believe in “cardio” "calories" "diet" "fat free" "nutrition free" I think the “protein, fats, carbohydrates” model is not the best way to gauge nutritional value I think the antiquated Food Pyramid is a Joke I think anything that says “FatFree “ or “Sugar Free” is to be avoided (did I say that already?) NEVER EVER use MicroWave ovens...
I DO think IN terms of Energetics from food..Living , Raw Vital Food vs Processed cooked de-natured food. I believe in Muscle (which weighs more than fat…) I believe in lifestyle/health TRANSFORMATION THREE THINGS YOU NEED 1. RAW LIVING FRESH FOODS (Greens/Chlorophyll,Fruits/Sugars,Raw Fats) 2. SUNSHINE 3. EXERCISE
and here are the 5 VITAL FOODS.. 1. Solid Foods 2. Liquid Foods 3. Rest as Food 4. Breathing as Food 5. Thought as Food
If you don’t like the results you are getting, when would NOW be a good time to change?
Now it’s my turn to help YOU!
Thank you, thank you, thank you ,

Let me tell you a bit of my history as it is relevant and will tie together in the end. I went to the University of Oklahoma thinking I wanted to follow in my fathers footsteps and become a doctor so I got a BS in Microbiology. About 3 years into it, I decided that I did not want to become an M.D. as I did not like hospitals, the over prescribing of drugs and all the sick care going on. I was interested in a more natural approach.
After I graduated I decided instead to pursue my passion of Aikido and martial arts so I moved to Japan to train with the “masters”.
Well I did that from 91-95 and supported myself, as an English Instructor. That was when I first realized I liked to teach. It was a great learning experience living there and I did learn a great deal from the “masters” and from Japan and the Japanese as well.
However, my last year in Japan was difficult. I guess the stress and lifestyle wore me down. One day I could hardly get out of bed. I later discovered I had what was called chronic fatigue syndrome.
All I knew was I felt terrible. Thinking it was time to leave Japan, I set my sites on Australia..Perth that is..even married a cute Aussie ..(but that’s another story).
Unfortunately the geographic cure did not work and I still felt horrible most of the time. I don’t know how I functioned. I could barely work, let alone continue with my martial arts studies.
In retrospect, this was the beginning of my “Healing Journey”. I started researching everything I could about Health.
Diet: Macrobiotics to Ayurveda & RawLiving Foods fasting and trying out all of the miracle supplements..blue green algae, enzymes, CoQ10, colloidal silver, wheatgrass juice, Green Drinks, Sea Minerals, noni juice, acai/mangosteen juice…. Energy work like reiki, rebirthing, pranayama..which led to Yoga, acupuncture, rebirthing, fasting, colon health & colonics, acupressure (shiatsu).
Mental/Emotional Healing: Psychic clearing, the Forum, workshops to heal my past, NLP, Tony Robbins, Stuart Wilde, Louise Hay, Deepak Chopra, Native Shamans, Sedona Method, thework.org, Ho’oponopono and any self-help book I could find..
Nothing was really helping and I was becoming chronically depressed due to my lack of energy, lack of income, lack of hope.
I think my turning point was when I enrolled in a Ann Wigmore’s 2 month healing retreat in Puerto Rico. We ate only “live food” and drank coconut juice and went into the ocean daily.
I was actually starting to feel better, but not back to my ol’ self. I thought Maui would be the perfect place to live to be healthy and vibrant. So next stop Maui. Well to make a long story short, I did start getting into much better condition in all areas..workingout out on the beach doesn’t hurt ne?
well back to p90x
I initially was just going to copy some of the routines and put them in my Spartan Warrior Workout Program but then I got it as a present on my 41st birthday!!
P90X blew me away..I was getting in the best shape I had ever been in. Im sure I was in great shape in HS wrestling and college boxing, I have never felt an OVERALL sense of strength balance and overall fitness before Not only was I noticing I was getting stronger and more elastic could actually SEE the results since you must record each workout and the number of each sets per exercise.
90 DAYS: Every day, every week I knew what I was doing. No guessing. The structure and THE CHARTS….
Now with Team BeachBody I also have a community of people all over the US and Canada that are working out, sharing their stories, helping and supporting each other…all I can say is WOW. I have found a home here. I hope you take the time to look around at what we have here. It could be one of the best discoveries of your life.
