The Low-Carb Plan is designed for those who want to fast-track their weight loss, or who just prefer a low-carb lifestyle. You'll make healthy food choices designed to regulate your blood-sugar levels and enhance your metabolism. Your diet will mostly consist of a variety of protein sources, fresh vegetables, and essential fatty acids. Since this plan is lower in carbohydrates, you may have less energy for your workouts, so it's advisable to pay attention to your energy levels and switch to a higher-carb plan if necessary. If you are very overweight, you may be able to stay on this plan a long time, but as your fitness increases your body may need more carbohydrates to function properly. So don't be hesitant to transition to another plan to keep feeling good and seeing results.
