I am 24 years old and currently live with the love of my life and my biggest supporter, Kacey Plourde. I am currently an Account Manager for the United Parcel Service, a self-employed disc jockey, and a grad student at Husson University in the Business Administration program.
I just recently became a Team Beachbody Coach. I have used the P90X and Insanity programs which were both great. I am now in the midst of a P90X2 workout which is absolutely incredible. My goal is to get into the best shape of my life, while helping others to do the same.

When I was in high school, I was very active in sports. I played basketball, baseball, soccer, and volleyball year round, and was in great shape. I never was a very strong kid, but I could outlast More ...
When I was in high school, I was very active in sports. I played basketball, baseball, soccer, and volleyball year round, and was in great shape. I never was a very strong kid, but I could outlast most with my endurance.
However, when I hit college, things changed drastically. Most of you have heard of the freshman 15...well I had the freshman 40. I went from 170 lbs and active to 215 lbs, within 3 months! I was in by far the worst shape of my life.
I went through most of my college career at about 210 lbs, and still limited healthy activity in my life. I was never eating correctly and my "exercise" consisted of playing basketball for about a half hour once a week. It took awhile, but after my vacation last year in the Dominican, I knew things had to change.
I decided to start changing my eating habits and talked to a friend about the P90 program. I ordered it from Beachbody and drastically changed my diet. I lost 5 pounds in the 3 weeks that I did P90, but I was looking for more of a challenge. I wanted to push myself harder.
The same friend told me to try a program that she was currently using, and that was P90X. I had heard a lot about the program, and it really interested me. So I decided to try it out.
I ran through a few bumps in the road with my P90X program because of a shoulder injury, (not from the workout, but from co-ed softball, go figure) but I was still able to lose 20 lbs and was beginning to gain my high school endurance back.
I then went on to a P90X/Insanity Hybrid workout that my coach, Mike French set-up for me. This was extremely intense, and got me back to a solid 171 lbs within a couple of weeks!
However, the shoulder issues continued. I recently had shoulder surgery done to fix a labrum tear, and have been out of the intense workout regiment for awhile. Unfortunately, my eating and and physical activity slipped, and I am back where I found myself a few years ago. But with my shoulder fully recovered, I have been back at it for a solid 3 weeks now and have lost 7 pounds. I still have a ways to go, but with my wedding being this June, I desperately need to need to get my Beachbody back for our honeymoon in Jamaica!!!
I look forward to digging deep again this year with P90X2. I have started this program and I am loving life!
