How my Beachbody experience began....
First, let me give you a brief history. We'll rewind to the spring of 2007
I'll be the first to admit it, i LOVE chocolate. Nothing is more heavenly than licking a bowl of brownie batter. Don't even worry about baking them... just hand me a spoon and a glass of soy milk!

I've never been one to eat "unhealthy" foods. I gag at the site of the Golden Arches and all the greasy fast food gunk that awaits on every corner. I don't care for anything fried, or deep fried and smothered in goop. I actually hate pizza (it's a wonder my husband actually married me after learning that fact). I've always stuck to lots of fresh veggies, turkey breast, white fish, no processed junk, REAL food, etc. I adopted the "eat organic, eat local" philosophy before it became so much of a "trend". I drink water often, stay away from artificial sweeteners, etc. SO WHY IS MY BUTT STILL JIGGLY?
Oh yea... the chocolate. And that pop tart. Ohhh, and maybe those brownies......... with a hershey bar melted on top. The entire pan. :\
I didn't realize how bad it was until I caught a glimpse of my backside in the mirror after I just stepped out of the shower. THAT'S NOT ME! I'm not Fffff ffffff. I cant even say it. I've had enough of this. It's like I turned 25 and my metabolism walked out on me for someone younger. So, I'm thinking that I have two choices. I could sit here on the couch and continue to grow out of my clothes.... or I could get up and DO something about it.
Mid July 2007 | I've done the gym thing, the running thing, the weird diets and I've had about enough of trying to shortcut my way through this. It's finally hit me that there is no secret - it's just eating healthy and working out. SO... now I've decided that not only am I going to DO something about this... not only am I going to lose the weight and gain some muscle back... I'm going to become a fitness competitor. I've been fascinated with the sport for YEARS. Right now, it seems like such a lofty and unattainable goal - but I know I can get there. With some help, of course.
I started introducing beachbody programs in to my life. Slim in 6, Turbo Jam, etc. And they WORKED. Really, seriously, look-how-amazing-my-butt-looks-in-this-bikini kind of worked.
Now we're at 2008. I'm now engaged and, of course, want to look my best in that wedding gown and while laying on a white sandy beach in Jamaica for the honeymoon. With an October wedding quickly approaching, I decided to give this p90x thing a try. Happily, my soon-to-be husband was completely on board as well.
The work outs were by no means easy, but the results were incredible! In 3 short weeks, my husband was already seeing drastic changes in his midsection. THIS THING WORKS!
We kept up with it and it soon became an addiction. Pushing my body and seeing what I was physically capable of was just amazing. I started spreading the Beachbody news to everyone... which was easy, because EVERYONE kept asking what in the world I was doing to get such amazing results so quickly. Not only could you see it in my body, but in my eyes - I was just beaming with a new sense of self confidence and an "I can do damn near anything" attitude.
So this is how my love affair with Beachbody started. Finally, it only made sense that I become a Coach. I'm so passionate about the Beachbody brand and the amazing products that I just want to scream it from the rooftops! I love Beachbody. I'm passionate about fitness, health, and living this LIFESTYLE!
