Life In The Fat Lane....Day 26 - 30

 

 

Well let's see Friday was good I had a great workout. I've increased the treadmill to an incline of 3 to 5 on the incline scale and that is wonderful. I have also increased my speed from 2.8 mph to 3.0 to 4.0 where I'm actually doing short jogging spurts.

Saturday I had an excellent workout and then did some shopping. Got some new slacks and dress shirts that fit great. Then.......I went out to the club and decided......what the heck, sure I'll ride the mechanical bull. LMBO! All I kept thinkin' was I'm gonna be the biggest chick riding this bull tonight and frankly..........I didn't care. Well,........I kinda did because they had all of these cute little skinny chicks that were going for sexiest bull rider and I thought...OH YAYYYY! But who cares........all I kept tellin myself was if I weighed less I would be on that bull in a heart beat and I am through with denying myself things. I had a great time. I also danced all night and that was good. I love to dance so thats a good thing.

 

Sunday I decided to take as a rest day, besides it was a long night. I pretty much vegged all day but hey, you need those days too. Monday was a double workout and I really pushed it. I also sat in the sauna for a half hour when I was done. The temp was 133 degrees and I think I fell asleep. It was great, I woke up and I was sweating bullets. Hmmmmm maybe I don't need the treadmill. LOL

 

So that brings us today, Tuesday. I ended up just working out once today and it was only for about 30 minutes, but....again it was a workout. Alicia high fived me yesterday because she saw me there for my double workout. I've also ate very well all days except on saturday. I splurged on buttered popcorn and a creme' brule. It was my free day though so, I enjoyed it. I felt bad for a bit but then decided I'm not on a diet I'm changing my life and lifestyle and if this is going to work it has to work for me.

 

Today I had my fruit smoothie for breakfast, almonds for a snack, shredded lettuce salad with chopped bacon and lite 1000 Island. For dinner I had mushrooms, onions and carrots sauteed in olive oil and then mixed with 1/4 pound of ground beef, 1 cup of rice and cilantro. I'm full but full iwth vegetables. Well thats all for today. Tomorrow I have band practice so I might not get a blog in but I will definitely get a workout in. Today is my 30th day. To toot my own horn I'd say I'm doin' pretty good. I haven't stuck to a workout plan for this long before. I'm still discouraged because I haven't lost anymore weight but I'm not going to let that get me down because I have before and this time is definitely different. I'm in for the long haul and not the quick fix. Like they say "you didn't put all the weight on over night so you can't lose it overnight either." Ok, time for bed.
