It is the first sunny day in a while and I cannot wait to get outside!
I have been super sore lately from the On on Ones! I especially pushed myself a few days ago with the 30-15 routine, althoughh it was 20- 10 to 12 for me. Still, That is 240 pushups and 132 pullups within an hour. No wonder I have been sore! The fountain of youth yoga has been a great recovery workout, though. That is what I love about doing the One on One series. It is such a great mix of super challenging and energizing routines. I am patiently awaiting my turn to get a shout out! :)
Eating has been very good for the most part. Still no goodies and shakeology every day. I did make some zuchini muffins this weekend for Sunday school, whis is sort of a treat. It was the last Sunday school of the season and we were having a party. I got a little criticism at first. I was told by a parent that their kids would not touch such food, but guess waht? They ate it right up. :) Too often we assume healthy means gross to kids. It all really comes down to the attitude of the adults.
My 11 year old son Gavin leaves for Virginia tomorrow to visit my parents. How exciting for him! He will travel all by himself on the plane. I know it will be very special for him to have them all to himself. it sure will be quieter around here! I will miss him.
