INSANITY

After finishing P90X in less than stellar form, I am invigorated again and have started INSANITY.  After only 4 days, I am feeling a high degree of muscle soreness in my calves.  The workouts themselves are very intense and I find myself absolutely spent afterwards...but in a good way!  I really enjoy the workouts so far and am already considering how I can incorporate them into an extended exercise routine when I repeat P90X again as my primary program.

I also started performing select resistance routines from P90X.  I figure that I can do Phase 1 of P90X in conjunction with this first month of INSANITY.  I did Chest/Back on Monday.  I had intended to perform Shoulders/Arms yesterday, but was exhausted after work.  I will perform that routine on Friday.  I have also decided to omit the leg routine since I am feeling every movement during the course of the day after the INSANITY workouts.  The goal is to keep gaining even small amounts of muscle during this, primarily, cardio program.
