Get on Board the P90X & P90X2 Train

 

Since last September, I have been posting on the Message board (kinda a long name for a Message Board, it is: "Get on board the P90X & P90X2 TRAIN Sept. 2011 - Jan. 2012"

If you are using Power 90, P90X or P90X2, you will enjoy reading through... and you can make it an accountability Board, too, if you are looking for one. David, Randy, Farmom and others make it a wonderful casual place to check in. So come for a visit, stay if you like, but at least say HELLO!

March knocked me DOWN for awhile... But I'm UP now!

Sometimes when a cold comes on so quick and heavy, it really knocks the wind right out of me! That is what happened last month, it was a set back and I thought I would cough myself crazy!  Now I feel good again. So thankful for return of good health!! Maybe I tempted fate breathing in too much outside pollution, pollen and hymid cold air... but I love to run in the Winter woods here in Georgia...... only time I can avoid the snakes and mosquitos..... but they were still pretty prevalent this winter, never got cold enough to keep them hidden I guess.  Now it is mainly indoor activities season due to the return of high heat ... Got the New "Les Mills" to explore... looking forward to that! 

Slim in 6 Work your Magic on me, PLEASE!!

OK, After tackling the Georgia Tough Mudder on 2-11-2012, with obstacles (difficult), running 12 miles of steep hills with jumps and climbs (Whew!) I see I need to train smarter for the next one in October! GOAL: Trim down the Body Fat and drop the weight while increasing atheletic performance.... NINE months to GO! 

FINALLY!!! Fit into my size smaller jeans!

Yesterday was a milestone for me.... I bought a groovy pair of white denims that were in the next smaller size and put them out for me to see each day...right as I walked out of my bedroom they would "encourage" me. They stayed out for me to see so long I wondered if I would ever get into them and stopped trying after awhile.  In fact, they became more of a "taunt" than anything else. (That is why I covered them with a blanket for a short time so I wouldn't feel like a FLOP!)

Yesterday, wanting to wear red and white for the season and look good for a luncheon I'd be attending where 100 people could see me going through the Buffet line, many know I am a "BEACHBODY COACH"... so I feel some pressure to LOOK like I take care of my body (which I do).

I reached for them not believing they would fit. Nearly put them back down so I would not be disappointed (again). But they fit beautifully with just enough "slack" to look like they were made for me!  I knew I looked good at that luncheon... and it gave me added confidence to know my body is changing and becoming better and stronger and more the shape it was meant to be!

So, how do you feel you fit into yor clothes?  Do you have three sizes "just in case".... I would love to know how others feel about this, so fell free to comment.  I love hearing from you!

Best Accountability YET: Becoming a Coach Myself

I love this community and if it were not for my Buddies keeping me accountable, I might have fallen off the wagon several times.  Ever so thankful that I stepped up to become a TBB Coach, it made me dig even deeper and raise my internal bar of expectations.  Thank you Carl Daikeler, who made this possible (with help from many amazing collegues and business partners, of course!) and Thanks, Team Beachbody for such a great group of caring supportive people!
